Flashed wrong firmware and now it won't flash back - Samsung Galaxy A51 Questions & Answers

I had the Australian optus (OPS) firmware for the A51. In settings - about phone - software information - service provider SW ver. Said OPS/OPS/OPS
I flashed firmware from Puerto Rico (thinking it had oneui 2.1 being the latest firmware). It was not. That's on me.
So I flashed back the Australian Optus (OPS) firmware, however, from start up I got Vietnamese writing and it put on Vietnamese apps. I looked at the service provider Sw ver. And it now says XXV/XXV/AST/XSA.
No matter what I do - factory resets, flashing the firmware again not using HOME CSC, it still stays on that service provider Sw ver. Even though my PDA and CSC are correct for the Australian optus firmware.
Everything still works fine except I can't get Samsung Pay as it says it's not compatible.
Any help to change this would be appreciated.

so after flashing wrong firmware you have the default CSC XXV ( Vietnam )
for informations
OPS - Australia (YES OPTUS ) branded
ATS - Australia (Telstra , YES OPTUS , vodafone AU ) unbranded
for A515 i don't know a free solution to come back to OPS CSC
but with credit maybe samkey or Chimera Tool can do the job
regards

You are a LEGEND! I did some research into Samkey. I used it and now my phone is back to OPS/OPS/ATS/XSA.

gsi viper android 10 volte

Hello, U12+ Korean user with the lowest number of users in the world. First of all, it's nice to meet
I modified Qualcomm efs files related to volte, modified buildprops, and entered forced commands. Ims is activated. I'm wondering what else I need.
(I'm sorry that the screenshot is not in English) ims registered, and it says that video calling is possible, but volte is impossible.

Previously, it was possible to replace the Qualcomm efs file in original ROM and create the carrier code xml in system-customize-MNS through the volte activation menu in the basic phone app.
For reference, htc was withdrawn from the Korean market 10 years ago. I purchased the Taiwan version and copied the Qualcomm ims files of the Korean telecommunication company from Sony Xperia xz2 firmware, the same Snapdragon 845 model released in Korea, and opened the forced port through the adb shell command. After replacing the file in efs explorer, I made a Korean carrier (45008etc.xml) in the mns folder by looking at the Taiwanese carrier code and getting a hint, and also modified mns.map.xml in the customize folder, so volte in the original phone app-config The activation menu appears, so even though it is not released to Korean users, we applied tta .volte, which is only available in Korea.

[Resolved]Looking for "LTE only" setting in stock firmwares

I'm trying to get my SM-G930W8 set up to work on AT&T's LTE only network so I can use VoLTE calls. I need to have this option available to me:

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
These are the only options available to me currently:
I've downloaded several of the stock firmwares for this device, and I'm planning to flash them one after another until I get this setting. Which part of the firmware contains what I need (if it contains it at all), i.e. AP, CP, CSC, etc.?
Once I get this working, I'd like to try out the DevBase ROM, but I want to be sure it doesn't overwrite the LTE only part.
I've now flashed firmware for 4 of the 9 carrier-specific CSCs: BMC, BWA, ESK, and FMC. The "LTE only" option hasn't appeared in any of them. However, I flashed the HOME_CSC image instead of CSC image so that I wouldn't have to start over on my device again every time. Could that be the problem? Do I need a clean install to get this option?
I did a clean flash of KDO, and it still doesn't have the "LTE only" mode available.
I did another clean flash of KDO (I don't think there's actually much difference between the different firmwares available for this phone), then immediately flashed TWRP, then DevBase with the "xposed", "KCSC", and "skipvc" options, and now I have "LTE only" mode!!!
dude you don't need all that
just go to play store
install hidden settings for android
search for radioinfo in the app
tap it then you'll find set preferred network
set to LTE only

Question How to flash different variant ROM to bypass carrier compatibility check?

Im trying to flash a different official variant that could possibly help me pass the cri***t (carrier) compatibility check.
On their website they say that A32 5g is one of the compatible phones, but they do not allow the variant im using (a326br) to connect to their network.
I tried to flash the 326U1 XAA variant ROM using Odin. The OEM is unlocked by going to the download mode, but I still fail to flash XAA to it using patched Odin with default options (auto reboot, f. Reset time checked). I tried to flash the original variant and it worked, so not sure where I did wrong.
Do I need to extract the pit file from csc file to do the re-partion?
If not, could someone hint me or link me the instruction to properly flash a different variant to this phone?
Another question, I downloaded this 326U1 xaa because it is an unbrand variant, I assume it could bypass the compatibility issue, but there are some other places suggest me that if I flash the wrong ROM I could get my OEM locked permanently. May I ask what variant would be the best one for me to flash?
1 : if you flash CSC_OYM_A326U1OYM7BVE4_CL23893183_QB52067427_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 and not
HOME_CSC_OYMxxx you don't need to flash pit file
CSC_OYM_A326U1OYM7BVE4 =
HOME_CSC_OYM_A326U1OYM7BVE4 + A32X_USA_OPEN.pit
2: there is only one A326U1OYM firmware and it's a multi CSC firmware

3: you can't downgrade firmware so take care witch version you try to flash
Not sure what I did wrong....
I used the CSC file instead of HOME CSC, but it seems like it is complaining about the partition.
Unchecked "BL" and try to flash again but still getting the same error.
A326U1UEU7BVE4_A326U1OYM7BVE4_USC is version 12, same as my current firmware version.
Phone was in download mode.

Question Resetting Phone back to factory settings

I have rooted the phone with Magic Disk and TWRP with no issues. How to remove all that and put the phone on factory settings completely? I mean remove root, TWRP and lock bootloader?

Flash stock with Odin, lock the bootloader after you boot for the first time and you should be good.
I just need to flash it with stock firmware and it will remove everything?
Should I look for PDA or CSC match for firmware?

PDA can be the same or newer, CSC can be whatever you want.
Flashing stock fw will replace everything yes. Your recovery, system and it will wipe your data completely. Make sure you backup your media
Thanks xD.

Samsung A5 2017 need help from an expert!

I am having no end of problems trying to add new firmware using odin. I think the problem may be the firmware itself. The csc code is OXX as shown in the picture below. However, I can not find any firmware with that csc code. Will using firmware with a different csc code be the reason it will not work?

Yes, probably. You need to find a firmware for your specific model number for your specific region/country/carrier and it also must have a binary version that is equal to or higher than the binary version of your currently installed firmware, it can not have a lower binary version than your currently installed firmware, it will not allow you to flash a lower binary version.
The binary version is indicated by the 5th character from the right end of your firmware build number.
