Out of Oxygen
Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tychoregter.outofoxygen
Out of Oxygen is a substratum theme which tries to achieve a more Pixel-like experience for OxygenOS by changing icons and other visual things. I also added a couple of extra features like hiding the Roaming, data off and data indicator icons. The theme does also include a couple of wallpapers.
Themed apps and features:
SystemUI
- Quick settings
- Power menu
- Ambient Display
- Lockscreen
- Volume panel
- Ringer slider
SystemUI Header*
- Multiple in-display fingerpint icon options
SystemUI Statusbar*
- Statusbar icons (P or Q style)
- Option to hide network indicators (small arrows)
SystemUI Navigationbar*
- Option to change width of the navigation gesture pill
Android System
- Corner radius** (you can use all corner radius' for all devices but I named them to fit the device)
- Power menu
- Some quick settings icons
OnePlus Launcher
- Quick menu
- Settings
- Multiple icons
- Shelf
- Recents screen
Settings
- Main screen
- Icons
Google App
- Google Assistant
OnePlus screenrecorder
- Quick settings icon
WhatsApp
- Notification icon
- Some minor icon tweaks
Telegram X
- Notification icon
more coming soon...
* make sure the header, statusbar and naviationbar overlays are on top of ALL SystemUI overlays
** Corner radius applies to: quick settings, notifications, recent apps, Google Assistant pop-up, volume and power menu, most pop-ups and more I probably forgot about.

How to use:
1. First you'll need Substratum or Substratum lite, you can download these from Google Play.
2. Open substratum and select Out of Oxygen.
3. On top of the list choose your Android version.
4. Select all overlays you'd like to use and choose what ever you want in each of the drop-down menus.
5. Tap on the button in the bottom right corner and tap "build & enable"
6. Reboot, open substratum go to the overlay page and select all overlays, tap the bottom right icons and choose enable
7. Enjoy!
Supported devices:
Most OnePlus devices running OxygenOS should be able to use this theme, it supports Android 9 and Android 10.
The theme is tested by me on a OnePlus 5T (P), 6 (P & Q) and 7 Pro (Q). Some features and apps are not supported in Pie, the theme is build for Android 10 and I tried to get as many stuff working on Pie as possible, most of it is themed on Pie but Settings for example is a Q exclusive. This theme does not officially support any non-OnePlus devices nor any other roms than OxygenOS.
NOTE:
I am not responsible for any problems with your device after installing this theme. I will be more than happy to assist you to resolve the issue but I won't take responsibility for any bricked devices.
Support and suggestions:
I'll give support in this thread or on Telegram, I will only provide support to users on the latest stable, beta or alpha build with all overlays updated to the latest version, users using a OnePlus device on OxygenOS 9 or 10 and users who are able to provide a decent description of the problem in English (with a screenshot or reproduction steps when needed). You can also share your suggestions, I'll always consider these but it won't be a guaranty I'll add them, some things have a higher priority than others and could take a while to make it into the theme.
Changelog:
From now on changelogs are only provided to the Telegram channel and Google Play, check either of those for the latest changes.
2.8.1-beta
- Added android Q statusbar icons (experimental)
- Added option to change width of the gesture pill
- Added options for the fingerprint icon (6T and newer only)
- Added some minor icons etc
- Reordered all overlays
- Cleaned up code
- Got everything ready for a Google Play release
- Probably more I forgot
NOTE: Please uninstall all old overlays and do a fresh install of all the overlays you want.
2.6.9-beta
- Initial release

Can I combine this with Swift Black substratum theme?

You should be able to combine it with almost all other substratum themes. When an element from Out of Oxygen doesn't show up make sure it's on top of the priories list.

Looks great, love it!
Question for you: Are you able to incorporate the Pixel's handling of the gesture bar into the mod? Google defaults to using a black bar for the gesture bar instead of white. This helps in apps like Discord where if you use dark mode you still have a huge white line at the bottom. See my picture for an example.

I don't think that's possible but I could take a look

This is what it shows in priorities and it doesn't let me move OutofOxygen to the top and keep it there.

If you're unable to move it to the top that isn't an issue with my theme, you should contact projekt (the developer of substratum) about that. I do also recommend you use substratum lite instead, it's much more stable

It doesn't work with any custom roms, just OxygenOS and you can't make it work with any other roms either, you could try to install and apply the overlays anyway but they'll probably break. It literally says it's just for OxygenOS in the main post

Is it possible to have the settings icons different colors like in Android 10 or the option to pick multi-color icons?

Well, I'm not sure if that's possible for me to add in all themes, I already changed it to the current implementation to make it look less dumb. But you could use the colorful theme which should have these differently colored icons

[Theme][RRO][Layers] Simple Blue Layers theme for Oxygen OS2 [18/01/16]

Oxygen OS2 supports Layers but a lot of the themes available have incompatible overlays or have Oxygen OS2 icons missing. I made this Simple Blue theme specifically for Oxygen OS2 on the OnePlus 2 to replace a lot of the stock, cyan coloured icons, pngs and text with blue versions. It works in both default and dark modes and in dark mode, the accent colour can still be applied to settings and file manager etc.
It is packaged as a Layers Manager plug-in apk which is installed like a normal apk ('Unknown sources' must be enabled in Settings > Security). You can then use the Layers Manager app to install the individual overlays. You can also select Thin or Stock blue icons for Framework, SystemUI & Settings by selecting their style-specific overlays and choosing Stock or Thin at the prompt.
A custom recovery (TWRP) and root (SuperSU) are required to use Layers Manager and this theme.
General Overlays:
- Calculator
- Cell Broadcast Receiver
- AOSP Email
- Contacts
- Dialer
- DocumentsUI
- Framework
- GMail
- Google Keyboard
- Google Plus
- Hangouts
- Inbox
- Keep
- Layers Manager
- Messenger
- Phone
- Play Music
- Play Store
- Settings (chioce of one or two columns)
- SuperSU
- SystemUI
- YouTube
Style Specific Overlays:
Stock, Solid or Thin icon overlays for:
- Settings
- SystemUI
- Framework

Oxygen OS2: Simple Blue RRO Layers theme apk (Updated 18/01/2016)
Hydrogen OS MM Beta: SimpleBlue Layers Theme apk (Updated 24/02/2016)
IMPORTANT: If you're upgrading from a previous version (v1.2.2 or below), uninstall all SimpleBlue Overlays via Layers Manager before installing new Overlays as the plug-in has been completely rewritten and some Overlays have been re-named.
Issues:
Although this theme has been tested extensively, if it's combined with overlays from other layers themes, you may get bootloops caused by a bad or incompatible layer. If you do:
Boot into TWRP
Mount system
Go to Advanced
Go to file manager
Go to /system/vendor/overlay/ and remove the bad overlay apk
Reboot
Credits:
@Zyxxeil for the heads-up that layers are supported on Oxygen OS2 with root.

Great!!!

Nice work mate. Notification Pulldown and dialpad ss look very nice in that color ?
Looks pretty cool! The notification & QC drawer is a little too blue for my taste, would've liked a white-ish background with blue accents (such as in Settings) more.
Also, screenshots of the keyboard attached.
Font in eBay notifications is white on a white background, can anything be done about that?

Looks like the eBay app is picking up the text colour from the framework layer but using its own background colour.
Test it by removing the framework layer via layers manager.
If that's what's causing it, you'd probably need to add an eBay layer with a dark background colour.

Can't really force eBay notifications, so I'll have to wait for one of my pending items to ship out. Will keep you updated, and thanks for the reply.
It works flawlessly, thank you!
Please make other colors!
A bright theme as water Droid said would be great, it could look like CM12 Flux white theme for instance.
I noticed a bug (maybe it's not) : once zip flashed, network and wifi icons have changed.

Thanks.
I may do other colours/themes in the future.
Not a bug - it's part of the SystemUI layer ?

With framework checked off, see attachment. Also white font on a white background. Am I wrong to conclude that it isn't the framework being looked at by the app then?

I'll check...
These are set to white in Framework:
Code:
TextAppearance.Material.Notification
TextAppearance.Material.Notification.Emphasis
TextAppearance.Material.Notification.Info
TextAppearance.Material.Notification.Line2
TextAppearance.Material.Notification.Time
TextAppearance.Material.Notification.Title
This is set to white in SystemUI:
Code:
TextAppearance.Material.Notification.Parenthetical
If you turn off SystemUI too and the text on the eBay notification still isn't visible I'm not sure what's causing the issue.
Is it Visible without any of the layers installed?

Hi @Spannaa
This layers also works flawlessly on my nexus 5 and its beautiful.... Just cataclysm settings icon was not themed.I hope you can put this theme in the play store so other layers theme users can enjoy this theme too.

What rom are you using? - The statusbar battery icon isn't stock Oxygen OS.

I'll try to revert that text to a dark colour whilst leaving the rest unchanged and add the fix in the next update.

Yes, transparency exist for the icon surrounding colors. But, will it be possible to add alpha to the icon image aswell. 'coz when we put those transparent background icons on wallpapers, icon image is getting highlighted. So, Im thinking, may be if possible, u can add alpha setting to complete icon, including, actual image icon. for instance, u can see some of the icon packs like this on playstore.

Another user reported to me this problem. Don't know why it happens, but to fix just make that:
1)(only if you are on android M+) go in settings/app/icon pack generator and check if all permissions are given
2)go in settings/app/icon pack custom and uninstall it
After that try again and it should be fixed. Let me know!

can you add the ability to hide apps like in the other pixel launcher ? ?
You can hide labels on desktop and icon packs hide automatically in drawer, however to hide/show other applications manually is under question because it is breaking launcher philosophy makes it similar to hundred launcher around
Great work! When will the updates? What do you plan to add?

hmm okey I thought it was ok, since in paphonb's pixel 2 launcher v3.2 he added the ability to hide apps, while in AmirZ pixel 2 launcher v3.0 has the icon pack support. I thought 2 features combine will be a great idea tho . Thank you!

#INTRODUCTION:
The original theme bodhisattva_ is celebrating its 3 years now, from Nougat, Oreo and the present PIE android firmware.
The theme simply introduced advanced custom theming for Samsung since they release Samsung Experience UI and Theme Store, by providing more apps supported on a single theme, hundreds of apps on a single apk, 3rd party custom icons on Samsung's default launcher. Since then the theme became a good starting point base for other themers and influenced them a lot, open doors for overlay install method and other things.
Now on this Theme Installer App, A user can do whatever they want to theme bodhisattva_ design principles plus other cool mods and tweaks to make the theme experience more personal.
#FEATURES:
-Complete Theme Color Engine - change background, primary, accent, texts, Qicksettings and Notification colors to anything you like (dark mode base)
-Font files bundle feature - Include your own .ttf font to be included on the theme - No PC/adb needed.
-Tweaks and popular light Mods like navbar height, QS transparency, Rounded keyboard and many more.
-3rd party app theming support like making Instagram and WhatsApp dark? Twitter lights-out and Gapps themes that's made from scratch,
NOT RELYING TO BUILD NUMBER, no installer update required, update 3rd party apps and still use them without waiting for us to update.
-UI Plugins support- you don't like theme bodhisattva icons? simply choose Default Mode preference and you can theme with OneUI elements,
AOSP-Q (full aosp experience for Samsung - all first party apps) and other themers designs like Diliun, Paragus, Broly, ayos_dark Custom UI tagged as HEX UI plugins.
#INITIAL SETUP: FOR REGULAR HC BASE(only one time, unless you delete the theme base)
1. Apply default theme
2. Open Hex application and grant storage permissions, follow on-screen instructions.
3. Customize and Build your theme
4. Reboot and Apply your Hex theme from themestore.
*reboot is only a one time scenario, this is just to fix the statusbar icon colors, on your next theme build, no need to do anything else or apply default theme first, just build, install and apply.
*Please read the FAQ on app for more informations.
#TROUBLESHOOT:
Theme applied but all/some selected third party apps not working or didn't get dark.
-Restart device
-Apply default theme
-Download and apply High Contrast theme (yellow)
-Apply HEX theme (High Contrast theme II Sky Black)
Theme applied but some apps like Dialer and Settings are not fully themed
-Apply default theme and delete High Contrast Theme II
-Download again High Contrast Theme II and APPLY it.
-Open HEX and click Build button it will redirect you to apply Default Theme, apply Default theme.
-Build your HEX theme again, apply and check.
#FUTURE PLANS:
-Add more 3rd party apps to get themed with user color choices. - done but still work in progress to add more.
-Fully Implementation of UI PLUGINS to give limelight for other Custom Themers work. - done, but more ui mode plugins coming soon!
-Add 3rd party Icon pack support for Samsung default home launcher.
-Breaking 60 overlays limit. not relying to HC theme base anymore. Update To HEXED PLUS NOW

Dev priorities for Hex Core
Our Work Info :
Hex Installer is the official alternative to themeGalaxy app.
The idea is to provide Hassle free/Seamless theming solution for Galaxy OneUI devices without compromising any of the customization features. All my work primarily based on "Do It Yourself" concept. I believe everyone can make the theme for themselves if a right tool is provided. And we hope that you will find #Hex as your right tool.
RoadMap and Priorities for our future Updates:
1. Hex UI Plugin support that extends the different UI options.
2. AOSP Q UI plugin for Free
3. Experimental options to include background and dialpad images (WiP)
4. More safe tweaking options
5. Add more third party app overlays. We're going beyond High Contrast theme.
6. Make #Hexified more interactive and interesting place to theme.
7. Providing default day/night ui mode customization.
8. Add Custom QS Toggles
9. Make Hex+ possible on Android 10 - OneUI 2.0
We never intented to obstruct any of the official themers work and themes and that's not the motivation of this community as well. We are trying to provide a custom theming solution to the people who are really willing to spend their time to theme their phone.

Congratulations guys... most excited theme app.
Superb app guys always on top and always made with ❤ thanks a big one guys.?
First of all thank you very much for giving our galaxy phones a life. Theming is the thing I miss from aosp phones.
I just had a little small problem tho, in my GMAIL APP, the status icon are showing dark/black instead of white. I did the steps provided in the FAQ which is, apply default theme > reboot > reapply hex theme.
Also another bug I found is that whenever you switch accounts from gmail. overlay window is not fully initialized. you can only see blank pages until you restarted the app.
Small bugs only . Overall this app is a killer. Many thanks!
** Not sure if I could provide logcat as my phone is not rooted. But let me know.
Already follow the guide on applying the theme. But my third party apps like playstore, instagram, youtube are still not themed dark as seen on the screenshot. Somebody help me thanks in advamce
Thanks for the great work.... It's amazing... But i have a question.... Can I use hex on other theme like broly... Or is it only limited to bodhisattva

v3.1-Fixed Settings icons
OP Updated....
Awesome theme. Just purchased the paid version! Out of curiosity, would it be possible to remove the circles on the settings page, and possibly show the icon even when it is pure black? Maybe the icon could be based on the accent?
