[CUSTOM ROM] [K-Rom V.2] Honor 6x (berlin) BLN-L21B360 - EMUI 5-Android 7

This ROM can not be installed on Android 6.
The "way back" to EMUI 4 goes by official rollback.
[Custom ROM] [K-ROM V.2] Honor 6x (Berlin) BLN-L21C432B360 - EMUI 5 -Android 7
Based on Huawei firmware C432B360 and HRT_Kangvip B357.
My ROM has been developed and tested on this device:
Huawei Honor 6x - Premium - [BERLIN]
Model number: BLN-L21
EMUI 4 build number: NRD90M test-keys
EMUI 5 build number: BLN- L21C432B360
-OTA updated Free device, without branding, with root and TWRP Recovery 3.1.1
The following mods were integrated and activated:
- Autostart administration in the phone manager
- Call Recorder
- KangVip Advanced Settings
Should extensions or Xposed be added, will be updated immediately.
Whether the following instructions on Provider Branding is applicable,
I could not test and therefore advise against it.
The Rom was installed successfully on BLL-L21C185B361 (Middle East) from @--ahmed.
You need:
- PC or Windows tablet
- USB cable
- Windows 7 / 8.1 / 10
- Minimal Adb and Fastboot
- OEM unlocking active in the developer options
- Huawei HiSuite (installs all necessary drivers)
- USB debugging on. Back up your data using Huawei Backup.
The Rom is installed as if you wanted to restore a TWRP backup.
Before the ROM installation, please create a TWRP 3.1.1 backup for emergencies !!
Conditions for installation:
The firmware EMUI 5 / B360 (nougat) must be preinstalled. My ROM can not be installed on Android 6. Root is not necessary.
TWRP Recovery 3.1.1 (berlin311.img) is required.
OEM + FRP unlocked.
OEM Unlock and USB on in phonesettings.
TWRP installation is described here:
https://www.android-hilfe.de/thema/...test-keys-android-7-0-nougat-emui-5-0.834824/
The compressed file contained in the download package
2017-06.system.update.B360.k.rom.v.2.rar (1,008.1 MB) please unzip (do not download as zip). The backup file created in this way
2017-06.system.update.B360.k.rom.v.2 please copy to the ExtSd in the TWRP backup folder.
Installation:
Please do not make wipes. Do not delete the cache or dalvik cache. Also no other partition and also no Factoryreset to perform. Later, this is feasible.
In TWRP now my backup restore and reboot.
All partitions; lease do not part recovery.
Your applications, with data and settings, are retained.
If TWRP wants to root, please refuse the request.
Now the ROM installation is complete. An additional installation of SuperSu and BusyBox is not necessary. Both were integrated And configured. There are comprehensive reading and writing rights.
The ROM is partially debloated. Some Google Apps have been removed. They can be installed by you if necessary. You can do that, too Do well with the HiApp.
Please make regular backups. ...... and remember: A custom ROM is Never as perfect as a stock Rom. He has to teach him something.
Never update the app from SuperSu. If it does happen, immediately the app delete and install the SuperSu App from the download package.
Should you ever make a Factoryreset, updated before that Google Account.
Root, K-Settings and the OTA update capability will remain thereafter.
The Rom is to be used very well as a Rescue System. Because it has no data partition, it provides independently a new in the boot process , one if none exists.
Have fun ! I hope my bad English is clear enough. Sorry!
Download Package:
- 2017-06.system.update.B360.k.rom.v.2.rar

Hi, I have built a custom Rom for my 6x premium. It works with small errors. (Google sync) I will try it for a week. Must remove the small bugs. When the Rom is finished I will post it here. Of course, only if you want it.
It is for the most part stock. Some Googleware is frozen or removed. The known Kangvip settings are installed. As well as the Call Recorder and Viper. It is, like all my Roms for the Mate S, based on a TWRP backup file.

Very interesting. What toolchain are you using when you compile? I haven't been able to build my environment correctly yet using the OpenKirin source and gcc-linaro.

MHA-L29 8.0.0.378 (C636) rootable?

Is this rootable with magisk?
Gravedig
Should be, by patching ramdisk.img (for EMUI 8) but with Magisk 20.4 or older (not with the latest 22) - recently, there was a discussion in Magisk General thread about installing Magisk to another Huawei but also with EMUI 8

Changelog:
1. Android 9 (Pie) AOSP Beta version is now available for download. Please note that this version is “pure” Android system, and will not have ZenUI.
2. Please be aware that installing this system image on a device removes all personal data from the device, so please remember to back up your data first.
3. This is the Android 9 (Pie) AOSP Beta version, so the user experience will be different from Android 8 (Oreo). If you are used to and prefer using ZenUI, we recommend that you continue with the Android 8 (Oreo) version.

The navigation gesture appears when after i reset the phone. But only on the "SETUP PART" after of setup it backs on Navigation bar
I am using this rom only because you can merge sd as internal storage. for the rest, call it a beta is a compliment... nothing works, bluetooth disconnects every 5 minutes and no longer reconnects, I tried to disable battery optimization from the apps (tried hundreds of playstore app regardin bluetooth...), but nothing, a smartwatch is unusable. each application is automatically closed after it is in the background for a while. whatsapp notifications 1 in 10... this rom is a pain in the a**e. this is the first and last asus I buy, support does not exist at all

Root is possible using canary build but after reboot it reverts and gives issues trying to re root using the app - if anyone knows more about getting root to fully work please let us know
I never had an issue with rooting the 12 preview on my Google Pixel 4a. But the Safety Net failing was my issue. But I could still use my banking apps, etc. So I have no idea why it would let me use my banking apps if the Safety Net through Magisk failed? But rooting was no issue for me. I used the Canery version of Magisk to patch the boot image to achieve root. Hope that helps? I love the Android 12 preview! I just hope we can achieve getting the Safety Net to pass on it in the future.
Was that with the 1st preview or second ,I have been trying second preview build, was able to root 1st but wouldn't stick after reset and downgrade to v21,which is best magisk build for pixel 4a on Android 11 ,and what version of canary , so far I am getting boot loop on second preview latest canary, and to by pass safety net with magisk , you need to find safety net fixv1.1.0.zip module for magisk , an latest hide magisk props, set its fingerprint to google and choose pixel 4a 5g and your good to go using terminal "su -c props works flawless on Android 11 ,the dev previews are based off android 11 so far I've seen ,and have you attempt ed viper magisk mod, there is only one version that works on pixel 4a android 11 that worked it's an older version newer doesn't activate the drivers , but not on Android 12 ,that's all I really use magisk for and root ,I would post files but I think it's against the rules to use or distribute those kind of files ,if you need them I can send them other ways, also which boot slot is your boot.img flashing to in bootloader ,boot_a or boot_b
