Yes, on the back with 5G logo and lights around the screen when getting a notiff. Works with AOD disabled also.

Built-in.
Additionally, the Dual Screen accessory has a small top corner LED on the front cover that matches the Rear 5G notification LED's settings

I'm trying to change the color of led notification with many Apps from Google play and not working.
When I tested the LED from the Hide Menu there is RGB colors and should be working, please anyone has any application to change the color? thank you.

It looks like the touch surface at the bottom of the device has slight translucent look about it. Might it serve as a notification LED as well?
I think the chances are good. I noticed that as well.
Also, in the video over on android central of the g4 rom running on the nexus, he mentions led notifications built into the rom. I'm not sure if he mean built into the hacked rom or the standard rom.

I can confirm that there is LED notification located just to the left of the ambient light sensor. There is also a Notification flash setting under the display settings. Flash LED light notifications optinos include: Missed call, SMS/MMS, Email, Voicemail, Reminders, and Alarms. Of course it is also used as a charging notification.

There are multiple color options. I do not know which colors are for what but I do know that emails are green.
Great now I have to decide... HD7, or myTouch 4g?
I'm kinda scared to shift to a new OS, just because it is so new that I have no idea if it will adjust well with how I use a device, however... if I get the 4g it will take forever for official updates to come to the device...
So hard... I guess I will have to try both devices at the T-Mobile store.

Definitively android. wp7 will be a flop.
I too can confirm. youtube wirefly's channel. they got a unboxing AND a small review. (the review has the notification light blinking)

and I need certain privelages to be able to reply.
Are there any moderators in the note 3 thread that could grant me permission?

I'm running the v29 but I don't see the + sign on the pulse notification light. But I just had it turned on, was of before. I want to take a screenshot and post on this thread reply but I don't know how lol
Edit: Notifcation lights working now thanks. Just Checked it to enable. Dunno what + is tho

its in the top right corner press it to add light for any app like gmail,whatsapp and so on
when you reply at the top of the box you will see a paper clip that will upload pic

Is there a way to assign a colour to the notification LED? Like green for whatsapp and red for Gmail? I can't see a way to make the change and the current colour scheme seems to be inconsistant. I've downloaded Light manager which has no effect.

Whatsapp has an option to do that. Look in in the Settings/Notifications
For Gmail you will need a 3rd-Party-App like this

Iv been thinking about buying this phone and seeing this thread means it actually DOES have a notification LED? I couldn't tell from any of the reviews or pictures out on the net.

The notification LED is built within the top speaker grill to the right hand side.. And many reviews do mention it...
Does anyone else have an issue where the colors aren't working correctly? Light flow doesn't seem to work either..
I notice that the led colour is limited. I can get red, blue, green, and magenta working that's it.

A quick Google search, or a search here, would get the answer quickly... No, the LED is hardwired to the charging circuit, we can turn it on or off when there is external power source connected, but not at any other time.
A simple hardware mod of jumping the 5v from the battery to notification light should work with kernel adjustments?

No it won't support the led blinking for notifications cz it's only for battery
Hi guys,
I received my honor v10 yesterday and I haven't been able to get the LED to work for my preferred apps (WhatsApp, Type Mail...).
When charged, the LED works just finde. For example I configured WhatsApp to show a green LED when a notofication is incoming. But it just doesn't work.
I even tried some LED managing apps (lightflow, led manager, led blinker) - it doesn't work either.
Someone knows a fix resp. has the same problems?
When phone is unlocked or screen is lit up on lock, i noticed the led doesn't blink but as soon as screen light goes off, led blinks
Now it works. I forgot to turn on the LED notification in the system settings (the box wasn't checked...).
Help to check the box

There's no way to make led works on DND mode
