Connecting PS3 gamepad with the MI Max 3 - Xiaomi Mi Max 3 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Hello,
has anyone succesfully used the regular PS3 controller with the MM3?
I tried using my PS3 gamepad via bluetooth with this device (am on xiaomi.eu rom) like half a year ago, but no matter what I tried (regular bluetooth connection, setup via sixaxis controller app, pairing manually on my PC), nothing worked.
It worked perfectly with the MiMax2 on xiaomi.eu, what's wrong on this device?

Connect a Playstation 3 controller to a Android device?

Hey
Is it possible to connect a Playstation 3 controller to a Android device via Bluetooth and play all the emulators like that?
If so, how?
Thanks.

Definitely not, unless someone comes out with a custom driver/app. the PS3 controller doesn't use a generic bluetooth protocol, it has it's own Sony one. To even get a ps3 controller to work over bluetooth on a PC requires both a custom application running on the PC as well as custom bluetooth drivers in order to allow your bluetooth adapter to talk to the PS3 controller. With the custom drivers loaded the ps3 controller is the only thing the bluetooth adapter will talk to.
Someone would have to do essentially the same thing for android: custom application as well as custom bluetooth drivers
Furthermore, to pair a PS3 controller to a computer or PS3 via bluetooth you must be able to connect it over USB first. You would need an Android device capable of USB host mode which are few and far between.
Has anyone tried any kind of bluetooth joystick with their Android device? Any recommendations?
The Wii mote works .. search the market for the app. Make sure your phone or rom supports HID
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
Why isn't it possible on Android?
It even works without extra applications on Maemo: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=66704 http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=41693
At least Honeycomb 3.1 should be able to detect it or is there another problem?

[Q] XT1045 Wired Game Controller?

I'm having a problem with my Moto G 4G LTE. I have an OTG adapter and it works perfectly fine for my keyboard, but I can't seem to get any controllers to function. I've tried XBox One and PS3 controllers. I need a wired connection to work in order to use Limelight effectively (game streaming from my PC) as Bluetooth messes with the wifi signal, severely impacting framerate. I've tried without any app, with USB/BT Joystick Center 2015, with Sixaxis Pair Tool, on stock 4.4.4 and on Cyanogenmod 11.
Has anyone successfully used a PS3 or XBox One controller over a wired connection on their Moto G (4g or otherwise)? Any tips on how to get it going?
PS: PS3 controllers work perfectly fine with the Sixaxis Tool over Bluetooth and wired with my PC and PS3, so I know it's not the controllers or the cables.
PPS: I'm now back at Stock with Decepticon kernel and still no luck.
PPPS: A Hori brand generic USB controller works totally fine, but it is extremely preferable to be able to use the controllers I already have.

Running stock and my Xbox 360 Wireless and Wired worked without issues.
Good to know, but that is not what I asked about. Im aware other controllers work, but these do not. They work flawlessly on other devices.

Cant pair the Playtation 4 Controller via Bluetooth with Shield TV - Pls Help

I tryd to connect the Dualshock 4 controller via bluetooth today but didnt get it connected it just keeps trying to connect to the controller but doesnt do it. The controller works quite nicely via cable connection.
Has anyone gotten it paired via bluetooth and how do i do it? My device is stock and not rooted.
You need to sideload the Sixaxis Controller app from the Play Store. This app requires root for Bluetooth to pair so you will need to unlock the bootloader, install TWRP and SuperSu.

Controller paired but not working

I want to connect my ouya controller to my Huawei Mate8. Everything looks fine and the controller is paired, but I can't make it work in any apps on the phone. I also installed controller setup app with the same result. Anyone know what the problem could be? It's updated stock rom and I have tried several controllers.
