Actually the stock font is really close to the font I use. That's why I thought it was installed.
Guess we need root.

my mate 9 is rooted and i was able to install and use the fonts in the above link; so it's likely true you need a rooted device to change fonts.

No need for root.
Installed this crazy looking one.
Just testing because my favorite font is similar to the default one and had placebo effect.
Hi , dont know why we cant install font on Emui5, normally its the same thing that Emui4 , no ?
You can change fonts on the Huawei Mate 9 without root. I will post a tutorial how on the Portal.

newbie question here

I read somewhere that after applying a theme of you reboot your phone you will loose the theme and has to do everything all over again, is that correct?

No the theme will stay but the problem is you won't be able to change themes unless your rooted or you can use a PC just after rebooting.

Swift black. It works great and is updated often. It does cost money though. To apply it works just like rooted phones but we have to connect with a computer first via Andromeda.

Can't guarantee it, plus I don't support piracy. I'd go with the play store. There are free Oreo themes. Just have to search them out on the play store. Read theme descriptions.

[Substratum/EMUI] MIUI 10 theme for EMUI 8.1 100% working

Hey guys check my new theme on play store it brings you MIUI 10 look on your device
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=h7.hamzio7.mi10
Can you fix the Settings menu of the Home Screen Launcher, text is in white on white background (noticed that in your AOSP themes as well). Other than that, it looks great.

The theme is not compatible yet. I contacted the dev, and they said hopefully by end of month, possibly later. As for getting Substratum working, you need to use build 998, which is available online. 999 will not compile, and official builds are not supported yet. There are a few Pie-supported themes. Personally I am using Mono/Art until Swift Black is updated.
Got most of it themed using 998....this will hold me till they fly fix it.

Yes, rooted magisk 16.8 beta build(any magisk works),same build .091, android pie. U need the beta version of substratum and swift black only works on apps, not UI and stuff. I highly recommend sai pie theme. It works to theme all apps and UI except for latest phone update. Let me know if you need some links. Ill PM you. They are not on play store. I have copies in my cloud. Or they are on telegram..
Can't get any theme to work with PIE

How are you getting Mono/Art or anything else to work? I'm rooted, have build 1001 Sub and I've tried Mono/Art, Spectrum and Dark Infusion. All I get is magenta on most of the google stuff and a message one or more overlays cannot compile due to missing configurations under this set up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Working Screen Calling [GLOBALLY]

you can do it manually by changing anything in the file to TRUE that has "speakeasy" or "speak_easy"
make sure you force stop phone apk and go to settings and enable the option to screen call
