Dark themes for OP 7 pro? - OnePlus 7 Pro Themes, Apps, and Mods

What dark themes are you using for the OP 7 pro ? I am currently using flux but was wondering if there are other ones compatible with this phone. Flux is decent, but I am looking for something that modifies the system even further.

You'll need root but you could install swift installer and further dark theme the OS and third party apps

I am rooted but I'm using substratum

Pitch Black worked very well for me, nothing unthemed (took a few tries to make Google and Play Store stick though). But I've switched to Swift Installer, loving the custom accent colour options.

Using Swift Installer as well and found out if you use Magisk hide on the Play Store it won't theme.
I actually emailed the developer and found this out.

Swift Dark and Flux for Substratum for me.

What about for status bar icons? Anyone got them themed?

Swift installer.

Dark Material OOS also works

"Flux" for substratum is the best

No you don't, as long as you're not using Magisk hide on the Play Store it themes fine using Swift Installer and is still themed after a reboot.

Thank you for your support,Yes Gplay became black,But as soon I did reboot everything gone!!?

How did you eventually get them to stick? I get errors for both every time I try...

Are you using the latest version of Swift Installer from the Play Store?
I had that happen when using an older version that wasn't updated for the 7 Pro.
Also have you install the Swift Installer Magisk module?

Yes sure, but the module No,Will try look at that
Now and feed it back,Thanks
**Yes everything are perfect now, Appreciated ?

Swift installer using magisk, (without substratum)

quick question: do you have to uninstall all overlays and theme all over again when a new update of the theme you are using is available or should I just install the new version over the old version?

Unfortunately, Holo Themerhas stopped error every time I open it. Downloaded the latest from xposed.
EDIT: had to download the January version, but there is no choice of changing themes from anything but default. What am I missing?

Click on the app.
Click the theme.

For Settings app, it only shows the default light theme....
Edit: OK, I've understood, I clicked on "Default"....
I have a rather dark live wpaper, and the option "user wallpaper" is pretty cool

any substratum themes working on pixel?

Using legacy substratum obviously, anyone run into problems using themes on pixel? Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, I searched but didn't find anything.
I just installed it on my device and it told me that installing a theme on nougat could cause bootloops I'm at work and haven't tried installing one yet, anyone want to test
I would like theme ready apps before I try. But I don't exactly know how to install tbo theme ready gapps without twrp.
Alright. I decided to give it a go. No theme ready gapps but I applied the whole N/Pixel dark theme. And everything seems to be working just fine so far.
Only issue I noticed was messenger (not facebook) was grey on white but inside conversations was good.
Just noticed this theme.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.brit.swiftdark.substratum Use this one if you want a dark theme. It's awesome. No need for theme ready apps. Works just with root and substratum on 7.1
If you read the description, it sounds like a perfect theme for the pixel.

No problem dude. Glad I did that because I really love dark themes. This one is perfect for me. It was like $2 or something but definitely worth it.
What build number are you running, I have been trying to get that same theme working on my Pixel for the last few days but keep getting errors? I have the small Pixel running NDE63P with ElementalX kernel. Thanks

I'm on NDE63H and using the 7.1.1 version of the theme as well. I'm having no issues with mine either.
I'm on NDE63P and most of the Swift Dark theme works great.

Themes for Nougat beta now live

When I re-enabled the theme store to re-apply downloaded theme, I noticed that I can now download themes normally from the theme store directly. Are we close to the final Nougat update?
Anyways, if you want to use a theme but don't want to disable theme store+services, you can now download themes normally again!
@Masterfellow any screenshot?

Is there a way to install a black theme other than having a Samsung account?

hi,
I would love a black theme, particularly for drain battery.
I don't have a Samsung account.

is there an alternative to 'substratum'?
I was wondering I could download a black theme from XDA.
Then 'disabler pro' app.
Could it be a successful way to install a simple black theme?

[Theme][9.0] AMOLED BLACK BLUE - unofficial Samsung PIE THEME

I have tested my theme only on my S8 but it should work on all SAMSUNG PIE 9.0 ROMs.
Because Samsung permit only official Themes from Theme Store on our S8, you need a rooted phone with a patched Theme Center.
Installation:
1. Install the Amoled Black Blue Theme apk (AMOLED.BLACK.BLUE_Badowl.apk).
2. Reboot to Recovery (TWRP) and flash Amoled Black Blue Theme zip (AMOLED.BLACK.BLUE_Badowl.zip).
All previous installed official Themes will change to trial Themes, but with patched Theme Store it makes no difference.
3. Reboot and activate the Amoled Black Blue Theme in the Samsung Theme Store.
4. Wallpaper settings are not possible at the moment with unofficial Themes, because its blocked and I didn't found a workaround. But you can set the Home- and Lockscreen manually.
5. If you want the Lockscreen pattern theming you must apply a official Theme and then the Amoled Black Blue Theme. If you switch from Stock Theme to Amoled Black Blue Theme its blocked.
Enjoy!

Congrats @badowl
Sweet smooth work.
Wondering if it would fit on my J7.
I'.m glad I could be helpful and motivate others to embrace theming with competence and style as you did.
Cheers.

No, you need a trial patched theme store, like on Oreo. My script make only the theme in the theme store visible, to activate it.
Samsung blocks unofficial themes on S8/N8 PIE, only official themes are supported, visible in the theme store.

The theme should work on all PIE Roms with One UI V1.0, but I have only tested it on my S8.
Install only the theme apk and check if it work. If not flash the zip, I know the theme block is in S8 and Note8 roms.
For the theme store I don't know if it work on Note9, make a backup before you flash the zip and try.
