Notch-less design confirmed oneplus 7

Oneplus 7 display to be notchless and nearly bezel less. Leaked in a video of Oneplus official channel - Oneplus Playback. The reason why it is oneplus 7 and not oneplus 7 pro is because of 2 camera setup at the back.

Interesting, well it was a bit strange same design as op6t with a notch, lets wait for more leaks
Yeah a YouTube video is hardly a confirmation. It has been mentioned numerous times the OnePlus 7 will have a notch and the OnePlus 7 Pro will have full display and pop up camera. We will find out May 14.

If the the Oneplus 7 has no notch then I am very much confused between the two which one to buy.
Current renders showing it having the 6T's notch. For all intents and purposes, it's a refreshed 6T. Same chassis and screen size, it appears.

We can't trust this video blindly..... a lot of leaks suggested that it will have the 6T design for sure with the upgraded specs.

IPS vs AMOLED, Redmi Note 8 PRO obliterate my OnePlus 6

As title.
I have a Redmi Note 8 PRO and a OnePlus 6 side by side, same high resolution video, maximum brightness.
Redmi Note 8 PRO obliterate the OnePlus 6 in terms of color accuracy and specially in video definition.
IPS shows so much more details that I loose on my AMOLED.
Ok AMOLED have some advantage in dark areas but the overall quality is way better in the IPS display.
We are comparing a low end phone with an high end of two years ago. Don't think that newer amoled are way better than mine.

60hz display problem

Using 60hz display is worst on OnePlus 7pro as compared to anyother above midrange phone. It feels very laggy on 60hz display while my basic OnePlus 7 feels smooth on 60hz display.anyone else facing similar problem?
Not here. Even at 60hz its still smoother than an S10.

I have same experience on oneplus 7 pro, if i switched to 60 hz its laggy.
All I use is 60 Hz. I talked about this on a few different forums...I see no real world difference using 90 over 60 so I just keep it on 60 all the time for the sake of the battery. (also keep it on FHD but that's another subject)
Mine is very smooth on 60.

OnePlus 5T Bluetooth issue's

I have a OnePlus 5T with bad Bluetooth reception as if putting it in my pocket or with a hand over the top of my device the connection will break with smaller devices. Is there anything in my developer options that I can use to increase the poor connection strength? There's a lot of options relating to this that I have never touched and if they can help my connection issues that'd be great but it is likely a hardware flaw.
Not sure, but have you checked over in the OnePlus 5T forums

General AMOLED display issue with black background - Redmi note 11 Pro+ 5G and Poco X4 Pro 5G

When showing black background, AMOLED displays will turn off its pixels. But I noticed grey shades on my Redmi note 11 Pro+ 5G, when using a completely black image in display. The grey shades are highly visible when the brightness is adjusted between 10% to 40%.
Initially thought it was an hardware issue so replaced the device, but found the same issue in the new device as well. Googled and found many people having the same issue with both the Redmi note 11 Pro+5G and Poco X4 Pro 5G.
I came across a comment in YouTube about an app that solves this issue (of course temporarily). I tried and it worked surprisingly.
The app called Oreo Colorizer, forces the display to shift its color space to DCI-P3 instead of the default sRGB according to the below XDA thread.
[APP][Official][v1.1] Oreo Colorizer
Oreo Colorizer uses an invisible system overlay operating in wide color gamut that forces the display to shift its color space to DCI-P3 instead of the default sRGB. Optimized Rendering only affects apps that use SurfaceFlinger (IE: 99% of all...

So it seems the issue is software related. NOT HARDWARE. Hope Xiaomi solves this by updates in future.
