Thanks, Camera work good, but front camera you can choose only 5 and 2 mp, and main camera you can choose 13 and 10 mp camera.

Works for the most part except it won't let me save to my SD card and it doesnt let me take pictures over 5 mp in the front.

@metal_messiah does the flashed version you replaced has HTC connect working ? It crashes on my apk mod. I'm still missing the nougat One M9 lib files however. Will try to update when I get my hands on a Nougat M9 stock ROM.
Thanks Nuts77, I can confirm that it works on the HTC M7 running Lollipop (Google Play edition), except for HTC connect funtionality. The app force closes when you click the icon, I do have the connect app installed. BTW: Has anyone managed to get the latest HTC gallery app working on Non-Sense software?

Thanks for the feedback do you also have the buttons tab / now playing tab of the app working correctly ? Back button responsive, play / pause button updating when you press it ? It's buggy on my HTC 10 and I can't seem to solve this...

Everything works perfect for me, haven't noticed a single bug yet. I still have to test the media server function, but this also seems to work.

OFFICIAL MIUI SCREEN RECORDER ON GLOBAL ROM
ROOT NEEDED
Introduction:
Right now the new Screen recorder that MIUI developed is only available on the Beta roms, but it can be some what easily installed on the Global Rom.
Instructions:
Download the app from APK mirror
Download the attached file which contains the libraries needed by the app to work
Copy the two files named "libMiuiScreenRecord.so" on /system/lib and /system/lib64 respectively. They have the same name, but are different files, so don't get confused.
Assign permissions rw-r--r-- 644 to the copied files (or use MiXplorer Beta to copy the files)
Install the APK downloaded from APK mirror.
That's all.
Bugs:
The app can't record internal sound (at least on my device. Needs more testing). Aside from that, it can record from the mic.
Notes:
The process of copying the libs was made with the app MiXplorer Beta, so I didn't have to worry about assigning permissions to the files (apparently the app assigns the permissions automatically).
You obviously need root.

I just tested on my RR1S, which has Miui 8 6.8.11 beta and it works, so it should be crashes on the mi4 with miui 7, waiting for any version for miui 7

I wonder what are the new features you added?
I really like MIUI camera, it's better than Gcam for daylight and selfie photo.
Except the night photo. Gcam with exposure +8 is truly amazing. As it has longer exposure up to 5-10 seconds.
I wonder if it can be replicated on MIUI camera too?
Adding image stabilizer is also great if possible. Take night photo for 5 seconds by barehand is almost impossible but the reward is huge.

Different port ways, on your post is original port by stars2 while this one port by Arnova8G2.
But xda thread from stars2 are removed and he discontinue his miui camera port.
I think port by stars2 is better ways but I can't get all feature like original Mi4c camera on his latest build.

I have not adding any feature just replace some files to get camera feature as original on Mi4c like Auto HDR or Manual Camera.
I have zero knowledge about port or mod, just copy-paste updated files on original .zip files.

I don't know how to make recent build works on Libra, since I just know to edit .xml files and update some files on the .zip

Hi! Mirror front camera is not working in v1.6. Please fix it. Also, I'm confused why you haven't updated your 2.0 beta+ version in O.P. Is it not stable? I am asking because I am gonna try it now. I was originally thinking of updating to from 1.6 experimental to 2.0 beta. But now, while scrolling through the page, I came across 2.0 beta +. Please warn me before it's too late. I don't have a pc to correct my mistakes if anything goes wrong.
My device: Moto E3 Power XT1706 (taido_row)

You can dirty flash your rom to remove this mod, v2 need to enable permission by manual on app setting.
That why error message "can't connect camera".

I use libra camera for .xml parameter that why you get error or unworking camera on other device.
All, I think the stable miui camera already on magisk module but less feature.
If you want advance feature just replace .xml file on .apk with the modded ones or add some parameter for any feature that can work on miui camera.
Simply mod just replace .xml file using 7zip on windows without extract the .zip files.

Mixplorer for Android also allows editing zip files without unzipping them. ?

2.Download calibration_cad.xml.
3.Install Es File explore or use any other root-enabled file explorer.
4.Move calibration_cad.xml to /system/etc.
5.Download and install BuildProp Editor from the Play Store.
6.Open it and add this line: ro.config.calibration_cad=/system/etc/calibration_cad.xml
7.Install one of the following modified Google Camera APK from Given Liken
8.Reboot u r phone
9.Open up Google Camera and look for AR Stickers in the menu.

Ar core has stopped working.
I tried this on miui 10 global 8.7.17 beta. It shows ar core has stopped working when using ar stickers . I also tried several ar core apps . The problem seems to be with the ar core app . Any solutions?
Edit : I got it working just needed to restart the phone . Thanks a lot love this . Also other ar core appd like measure doesn't seem to be working .

I install this on Pixel Experience ang i got a bootloop, have to copy again build.prop

i have a slight problem that every time i reboot the phone my calibration.xml file keeps dissappearing and i have to copy again to system/etc to get it working . any workarounds ?

I've just built this into a Magisk Module that's working for me in Pixel Experience PIE. Waiting for OP permission before submitting.
It works with AR Stickers in Google Camera but doesn't work with other ARCore apps such as Measure.
AR core and AR stickers are Crashed
