does it work for A750FNXXU1ARK2/ARK4?
Which file do I need to flash, vanilla, floss or gapps?

It should work with EVERY firmware on FN, but I simply was not able to try it out this way. Vanilla don't have gapps, use gapps imo.

This is awesome, thanks. Would there be a way to use stock camera app for wide lens support?

Only way to do it would be porting default camera app together with libs/drivers :c

Finger print option is not there in the settings for me. Is this a /vendor problem?

It sucks to be a a750gn user right now

2 times got boot without network, ROM detects 2 SIM cards but unknown, cant search for networks, no phone numbers, only WiFi works.

A7 2018 is released with Oreo,So It's support A/B Partition

a750fn android pie
in my a750fn with this firmware A750FNPUU1BSC4, the aosp gsi rom not work. The only custom rom work for me is Android P (PR1) sGSI that is unofficial rom and it is google pixel rom but data not work! please can you help me?

I followed all the instructions.... Bootloop on SM-A750GN.

This Havoc OS version is working on my 750FN
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=79267026
I've updated to newest Pie One UI Firmware first.
I had Havoc OS at my Xperia XZ and its a very light rom.
And I like the customization features.
With GApps aroma you can pixelfy it very well.
Camera is also working.
In my opinion the battery drain is more less than Stock Samsung ROM (and i installed a lot Google stuff with GApps aroma).
There are two annoying bugs;
-In windows no Drives appaer with usb connection (MTP device is present in device manager)
-No auto brightness.
Maybe someone could help with this two bugs.

It dose not work on my A750F Pie version. The build number is A750FNPUU1BSC4. I tried this rom to flash but I faced with bootloop every time, I tried other versions of GSI also but not worked yet!
Is there any solition? Plz help me!

As you can see in my post, it's for A750FN!

It's not firmware difference. GN, FN, F, G, etc are different HARDWARE versions, so some minor changes are present in every version of phone. That makes it works only on FN

We also wanted to make sure there was no central point of failure, where one industry player could restrict or control the innovations of any other. The result is a full, production-quality consumer product with source code open for customization and porting.

Any chance to get it for PRA devices ?
Thanks for your continous work on those phones.
Do we have any chance getting one of the PRA devices or does this hi6250 image works on them too ?
Thanks for your precious time,
Erwan,
Thanks for your work on this, got it to boot and it runs perfectly.
How do you suggest I root this rom, I tried magisk but it wouldn't boot afterwards.
My only other issue was that my SD card isn't usable and Android fails to format it.

@kubersharma the vendor image does not seem to work with OEM ported GSIs. I've tested MIUI but that got stuck on Asus logo, didn't reach the bootanimation.
I've attached a zip (2 logs), one was tested with the vendor image on this thread and second with default Arrow vendor.
As the OP says it's for source built pie GSIs
There is a huge background story on how messed the treble is in our device right now thanks to Asus, for having too much blob dependency on system.
If someone wants to try Q GSI dp6 (Generic or Pixel) should give a try after flashing my latest (20190812) LineageOS 16.0 build

Need vendor for android 10 Oxygen OS ...it's time you havent updated vendors Dev's...thanks in advance
Hi, @kubersharma. Sorry for the off-topic question but I have an Asus Zenfone 4 (ZE554KL) on which with the Oreo and Pie upgrade ASUS standardized BLOBs but does not created a dedicated vendor partition, so no official treble support. I wish I could flash the GSIs on it. The part of creating the vendor partition is no problem, but would you have any tips or tutorials on how to properly move the files from /system/vendor to /vendor in a functional way and the boot img hack needed to boot? Thank you very much!
does it work on android 10??
hi thank you for the rom. Can you make one for zs551kl(zenfone 4 pro) thank you very much

*
*/
What is this?
this is a simple zip for A/B devices only that will separate the ROM in your current slot so that it won't interfere with the ROM in the opposite slot, which we'll call the primary ROM.
How does it work?
it modifies the fstab of the ROM in your current slot to have separate data and shared internal storage, data will be in /data/media/multiboot in the actual data partition.
What's the catch?
this of course comes with a few unsolvable issues such as:
1- SElinux must be permissive on the ROM you're multibooting (secondary ROM)
2- NO ENCRYPTION, do not use this on encrypted data, it will break everything.
3- don't use multiple users on the secondary ROM, it's unlikely to work (not tested)
4- Magisk modules exhibit weird behavior, such as modules from the primary ROM showing in the secondary, it is strongly recommended to use core only mode if you're using Magisk (only on the secondary ROM)
5- and most importantly, screen lock is likely to stop working on the primary ROM every time you switch and switch back, once you're back to the primary ROM, your PIN/pattern might not be recognized, same thing that happens some times when you restore the data partition, it's recommended to remove your screen lock before switching to the secondary ROM, or delete /data/system/locksettings.db once you're back.
6- and lastly, this is unlikely to work on stock/ported ROMs, not tested though, feel free to try.
and that's all OK, as this is intended for testing purposes only, maybe you want to test a new ROM or a GSI but don't want to commit to it yet, this doesn't mean you don't need to backup your data, this has only been confirmed working on ONE device, no guarantees it will work for you.
USAGE:
flash the secondary ROM normally (flash, switch slot, reboot recovery, gapps, magisk etc...)
flash this zip
flash Kernel Sepolicy Patcher and switch to permissive.

(Based On: AOSP) Roms unfortunately do not have the option to make sim2 passive while sim1 is active (or vice versa). Is there a solution to this?
I have installed the ROM with TWRP and my phone is now bricked, I cannot even get into TWRP anymore. Any idea what I could do now?
- Install order was: Unlocked bootloader, used Odin to install TWRP, flashed Multidisabler, reboot, then followed the instructions here
- Black screen followed the "reboot" button in TWRP
- I can reboot the phone by pressing all three buttons but this will only give me the Samsung warning I have to confirm and then black screen again
- this phone uses Exynos CPUs
- OneUI 3.1 was installed before. Is that the issue? I read "Firmware required" as "Minimum Firmware required"...
Edit: I can NOT reboot the phone while a USB cable is plugged in.
Yes OneUI 2.0 is required. OneUI3 FW is GAY! And you can go instand to twrp by pressing power + vol - then if restart hold power+vol+ if samsung logo come, release powerbutton and wait. Have u the A40 for sure? the rom is testet and works, nobody has a brick or whatever. Flash This image as system_image only no wipe vendor or everything btw. look in other treads for my custom vendor it will works.

So I managed to flash OneUI 2.0 and then repeated the whole process and now your ROM boots. I can't connect to WIFI though (yes I made sure I used the correct password). It just says "connecting failed". Also, when I call someone, there is no call window. Is this ROM compatible with FlameGApps?
Also, yes, definitely the A40.
only u can Try gapps idk if flame works. did u use WPA2/3? combinied
My router uses WPA2/3 combined and Android does not give me an option.
I was now able to connect to another Wifi and tried to update my apps. It tells me I had not enough space. But I have over 50 GB free.
Edit: So, the Wifi problem depends on encryption. WPA+WPA2 works, WPA2+WPA3 does not work. I think that is a bug.
Also, I cannot get Play Store to install anything. It always complains about not enough space despite me having no apps installed and lots of free space on both internal and external memory. Cleaning cache did not help. This happens with both NikGapps and FlameGApps. FlameGApps works way better though.
Also explaine better, it should work maybe bug of gapps
I tried the rom , but it’s stuck on the android logo , any help?
Have u installed vendor? ... the custom one

Possible, but I do not know. Might also be partitioning. I did nothing but flash ROM and flash Gapps, then boot and run through the Gapps initial setup tool that automatically started (connect wifi etc). Then I tried to install any app from the Play Store. It always says I need to free up space before I can install an app. But I have lots of space, tens of GB.
hmm thats weird
It is weird indeed... also, are there known issues with phone calls with a Bluetooth headset? I couldn't use mine today, even though it was properly connected.

So... please put that in your description above instead of stating "bugs: none". Other ROMs named the bug with Bluetooth etc and yours didn't, so I assumed it was not relevant. I would not have downloaded it if I knew.

Well the problem is when you are developer & tester at the same time, because nobody feels like doing it, or you really do everything alone ... mistakes can happen!

Hi everyone i want to share a gsi vendor image that boots most Q and P roms for the samsung galaxy j4 core.
How to install:
reboot to twrp go to format data type yes *this will format all your data*
go back to wipe and select system, vendor, cache, data and dalvik then swipe to wipe
go to install click on install image select the gsi image file then swipe to flash
now select install zip and click on the vendor image you have downloaded and swipe to flash
finally you can flash gapps if your gsi doesn't include them *note: if you dont have enough space to install gapps to to wipe select system and select repair or change file system click on resize system then swipe to reisze*
and if you are into rooting flash magisk zip file
note try to not install gsi roms that aren't over 1.2gb lineageos 17.1 and dotos are prefered
BUGS:
none
What works:
-boots
-offline charging
-sound
-wifi
-gps
-bluetooth
-mtp
-RIL
if you want to report a bug be sure to include logcat
