Hey A8 Community, This is my first project for this device, more yet to come, you all might have question Why N7FE and not N8 S9 or any newer port ? Simply said, it is too early for me and the current state of oreo. there is some important stuff that needs ironing out myself before introducing any other new roms . N7FE Struck a great balance between a stable port, and a feature rich one. i have also thrown in alot of additional stuff you can check below.
RULES OF POSTING : READ everything before commenting, And especially the install steps, the rom has been tested thoroughly for a long time, so if you have an critical issue like not booting or no sim, you missed the instructions, posts that are irrelevant to this project will be ignored(Constructive criticism is welcomed). it's pretty good
lol sorry if I didn't give much detail, the rom still needs to settle down on my phone for a few days
The rom is good, but I have a couple of problems.
1. Some apps aren't in full display mode, so they look in 16:9 and not in 18,5:9
2. I can't set italian language in keyboard settings, i tryed to download it, but a pop-up tell me something like "impossible to download italian language"
3. When I'm on desktop the nav bar is hide, if I touch for two time the left point it is show. The problem is that I always hide the nav bar when i'm using an application, so ****inue to hide and show the nav bar isn't comfortable

Just hold the power and volume button at the same time and the phone will turn off make sure you do a full wipe not internal memory.

HELP!
the rom installs perfectly, but it won't let me boot. I've done every step twice (including the hard reset after installing).
after it boots up, shows a "signature verification error" (I don't know if that is literally what it would say in english, cause my phone is in spanish by default)
does somebody know how can I fix it???
Really want to try this but after complete wipe (including internal) SM-A530W will not boot. Attached log.

Save the log and upload it. I think we're having identical errors. The log will be saved in the same directory as the ROM zip. Let's get them the logs so they can fix it. I am having what seems to be a flawless install as well but can't get past the boot logo. Not animation, logo.

lol you didnt read the bugs this rom has, face unlock is a bug on this rom
Perfect Rom but having a little issue in status bar
Perfect and No.1 rom for A8+, there no bug in this rom. This is the best rom for gaming like PUBG, i play games in full hd graphics settings.
Kindly send me a fix of updating circle showing in status bar.

So, First we brought you the First Oreo based ROM. and now its Android Pie. Due to the nature of this release, and the fact that it comes before any Exynos7870 Official Android Pie. there might be

- Footej Camera and FV Camera do not work (probably app fault)
Q : Can't hear on social calls like whatsapp,telegram
A : Lower the volume to one step below maximum
Q : Rom is Laggy / task changer is laggy
A : Do not install Goodlock. it is causing issues
- Reflash the rom without goodlock option, and wipe cache
- If problem presists, clean flash
Q : Can i use flashlight in 3rd party apps ?
A : No, Samsung restricted Flashlight API to stock camera since Android 8.0
Q : SDCard unreadable
A : A reboot might fix it, if not , have to reformat to exFAT
Q : Can we get EdgePanels, Lighting , Native Blur etc
A : We cant deodex and add features like before due to a general bug with Pie
Q : Stuck at boot animation
A : You have to reboot atleast once manually, read installation instructions
Q : I dont get VoLTE, Why ?
A : Either Reinstall or
- Go to settings > About Phone
- See what OMC is used (DBT/DBT , XSG/XSG for example)
- copy system/omc/INS contents to system/omc/[The used OMC in about Phone]
- Reboot
Q : How is battery Life ?
A : With some tests and some cycles, it will be better than stock due to optimzations and new Operating system
Q : What to do after the rom is setup ?
A : Go to samsung apps and google store, let the phone update everthing
Q : the phone wont install any apps
A : Reboot
Q : What bootloader and modem do i need ?
A : Latest Oreo Bootloader is a must, the rom will boot on Nougat BL but will have many bugs related to lockscreen and GPS
Q : How do i know what Bootloader i have ?
A : Samsung info App. if it says AXXX, its Nougat whereas BXXX is Oreo
Q : How do i Update my Bootloader and modem ?
A : Flash latest stock rom, make sure you know how to bypass RMM locked
Q : Some apps do not have my language. Why ?
A : This rom is initially based on Korean Dump. report the app that does not have translation
Q : Everytime i press a textbox it shows clipboard dialouge
A : Another Samsung bug that only can be fixed by a base update
Q : Why Antutu UX score is low ?
A : I dont know excatly why it dropped with OneUI, while GPU CPU and RAM increased
Q : no RIL or FCs
A : Reinstall and be sure to wipe data/cache/dalvik/system manually

Why ?
The rom is working very well but when I boot my phone it says Galaxy note 8 instead of j7 core. Is that normal ?

Yeah I have some lag with the Facebook app as well
By far the best cuatom rom available out there.
On top of featuring android 9.0, it is stable, has great battery life and the performance is incredible. Hats off to the developer

yeah same bug here , sound only come from headphone . and mic
For my j7 nxt the touchscreen wasnt working prpperly... Is it because i use a third-party screen?

Is better than H-Rom S20, for example the usage of ram is better, is more smoothly and the Samsung Pass is ''working'' but as the same problem the H-Rom S20 as and the bug is reboots the phone (SM-J600FN) after 30 minutes of use and it's sad because this is super good but without this good work, continue creating roms for J6 i like so much your work!

I read your reply and I agree about that enough, but Do you mean that your phone with the A7 rom reboots suddenly in 30 minutes every time, screen goes out and Samsung Galaxy J6 logo appears, and then It boots up, as same as h rom s20 port?

After installing it reboots infinitely, I tried to flash magisk after installing but it didn't work either, help
All things are good... but only phone call doesn't working.. If I call someone, there is no signal on the other's phone. On the other's hand, if the other one call to my phone, its phone says that my phone has turned off. Why does this happen..

Hi sir, You may have a problem to install A7 PORT Rom, right? then redownload the rom through the link and install repartition v1.0 zip file or try the installation in OrangeFox Recovery, not in TWRP.
And The "H-ROM_A7_NAVBAR_MODDER.zip" is an MOD for enable or disable its navigation bar. And You can install it in TWRP or OrangeFox Recovery, just swiping once.

Pass via ROOT Possible, steps below
ROOT with Latest Magisk
• Download both .zip in Attachment
• Enable in Magisk > Settings > Zygisk and Denylist
• Flash one by one from Attachment via Magisk > Module > Install from Storage
• Download Terminal from PlayStore
• Terminal type: 1. su, 2. props, 3. type 1, 4. type f, 5. select your fingerprint (example: S10 Lite), 6. Type y, 7. Type y (it will reboot)
8. Check SafetyNet Status via YASNAC (PlayStore)
• For Banking APPS if u pass both: Magisk > Zygisk > configure Denylist > Select your APPS > reboot.

Troubleshooting
• if u get a Blackscreen after Flash the ZIP, try reflash Stock ROM
• U4 bootloader make sometimes issues.

So i mentioned in the Post on top. If u have U4 bootloader it will cause problems, also if ur firmware it doesnt allow to boot OneUI4 i cant do anything. Ask Samsung. Its a Port of Unofficial Software. So i doesnt run on every device.

I suspect they may have set some ui 4.0 flash lock on the end of the phone support as it's strange that every other custom rom works.

Because if you have a different opinion, please port it yourself. 75% of the users can use it, 15% can't because they are on the U4 bootloader and it causes difficulties. 10% unknown cause.

Nop! I find any fantastic mods roms on 4pda and now iam runing on u4 one ui 3.1 android 11 stock without warning windows and any junk apps. It is lighter and usablebfor bank apps and samsung secure apps. Iam waiting for u4 baseband versions of one ui 4.1 ... maybe make it a master!
It doesn't work I installed the stock rom myself and then tried to install your version but it just doesn't work the Samsung logo is there all the time and won't load...

maybe upgrade your phone to u4 then create roms for the latest botloader because then no one will have problems and u4 is not so bad literally all roms work outside samsung ports.

Why i should upgrade my bootloader? So i am developer also and i dont flash any Bootloader with U4, so i cannot revert also. Bad Idea from u... I use only maybe "20 - 30libs" from a40 vendor, rest it from galaxy A51. Because A40 doesnt support official OneUI4. this is a full vendor port sir!
And honestly between us: what do you expect from an unofficial OneUI4 bugfree? Then you buy a device that supports OneUI4 and this is completely wrong. Just because you have the U4 bootloader with problems doesn't mean it's mine! Since glad that there is such a thing here!
I dont know what is u4 bootloader but for me it worked fine. Nice work. And thank you for keeping a40 alive.
