Is the twrp out yet?
My Phone got an update a few days ago and it gave me the ability to unlock bootloader. I did not actually finish the process to unlock because I want to wait for others to try it out first. The update was supposed to enhance the face unlock and did not mention Anything about bootloader unlock being activated. Any brave souls out there who has tried it yet?

Hi. Try to unlock bootloader here and install CWM here, after, enter in recovery mode and flash SuperSu here.
You need to rollback to 4.4.2 first.

several other things wouldnt flash (motoboot.img, logo.bin, boot.img) so it looks like its a no go.
I really hope someone can help me. I like many, tried to update my ascend mate 7 to Marshmallow from B331 and it failed and I am now stuck in bootloop. My phone is not rooted and the bootloader is not unlocked. I have tried to get an unlock code from Huawei twice to unlock the bootloader, and I haven't been successful. I have tried to flash a handful of firmwares and have been unsuccessful. I even tried to flash a stock ROM and that failed. I don't know what to do. I don't know anything about rooting, it's completely foreign to me. I can't afford to buy another phone and I can't really afford to send this in for repair. Someone please help!!

First you should unlock bootloader...if you can not get the code, you can ask someone to do it for you..

iv been trying to unlock the bootloader in honor 8 in 1 week now. and did the official-method but it got stuck on "waiting for device"
and also when i tried to install the huawei drivers in windows 10 the setup wont run. i also installed the adb and fastboot the latest version.
do i need to use dc unlocker? iv looked into that but no version supports honor 8 it seems like.

What is your "fastboot getvar all"? Maybe using wrong unlock tool.
im using adb i followed this full totorial for FRD-L09. http://www.modaco.com/forums/topic/...your-honor-8-official-and-unofficial-methods/

Get your phone to bootloader mode. Find button combo to access bootloader. Type in a CMD prompt fastboot getvar all. Post outcome.

It's probably cuz your PC doesn't have appropriate drivers installed.

Go to twrp official side and look @ NB1 so you will find the right twrp for your device.

The current version isnt working with the newest patch. Gets stuck on the boot logo.
I've done a successfully uninstalled the botloader

Just follow this it will work. After unlocking the bootloader (official or unofficial bl unlock), run the cmd for flashing the official twrp "fastboot flash boot_a twrp-3.2.3-1-NB1.img" & "fastboot flash boot_b twrp-3.2.3-1-NB1.img" then after flashing run the cmd "fastboot reboot recovery", then flash magisk for rooting.

it's really annoying - how do I make a full backup without root? No chance to do a proper backup of apps and data. So annoying!

Are there alot of difference with chinese and europe software? I saw on Youtube that chinese sofware has full screen swipe navigation, theme support and store.
And my RM3 now is rooted..can i direct system flash update from local update in setting?like do in oneplus.

Mine is also rooted with cn os version 2.14 and gapps pre installed, anyone knows if its possible to flash the rom in any other way then described by nubia? Cause i can't click on the system update button in settings. Magisk is installed and working.

no but when you relock your bootloader everything is remove is your phone backup your files before do that you can flash chinese rom too its ok
