Bootloop after 1st start -> flash MIUI10 (recovery) -> WIFI Problems - Xiaomi Redmi 6 Questions & Answers

Hello I bough for a friend the Redmi 6 Global with locked Bootloader.
He got it and after 5 minutes the mobile runs into bootloop. I decided to Flash MIUI 10 Global Recovery. The phone begins to start again. But now my friend has wifi problems. The wifi connection stucks sometimes (looks like he loose connection)
With his Wifi are no problemes, because my mi mix 2 works perfect.
What can I do?
Is it possible to downgrade to MIUI 9?

interrested by this post, because I could have to reflash MIUI10 recovery rom if my treble GSI rom fails...
And I would like to hawe my WIFI still working...
it's strange because I have unlock my redmi 6, installed TWRP, had no bootloop and my wi-fi is still working fine.

I personally once experienced all services shutting down immidietally after turning them on.
Clean flash of stock solved it.

Have reflash MIUI10 via miflash and everthing was working fine.

[Q] Wifi blocked and bootloop

Hello,
I have a problem with my nexus 5 on Terminus ROM, TWRP and blue kernel. My wifi stays blocked "activation du wifi en cours" (maybe in english : "activating wifi").
I have recently installed wifikill app. But I don't think this is a problem. Because I have removed this app. And no result. Then :
Reboot the phone -> wifi stay blocked
Full wipe and reinstall Terminus rom -> wifi stay blocked
So, another problem occurred at the same time, when the phone locks or I lock it manually, it restarts.
Have you some idea for resolve the problem ?

Wipe and flash factory images, DON'T INSTALL ANYTHING and see if it still happens.
If it does, then it's a hardware issue.
If not, then try the same but with Terminus instead of the factory images.
I have just try in flash the factory image, and the wifi still works not :/
It's sure that is an hardware issue ?

If you've flashed factory images and done nothing else right after and it doesn't work, then most likely.
Ok thanks you, i have finaly called google, and he send me a new nexus 5 but in 32 go "Refurbished" (mine was a 16go)
I am a little afraid of this mention "Refurbished". Wait and see...

wifi bluetooth sim and camera not working mi note 4 snapdragon

I had this problem
I recently unlocked bootloader of my MI NOTE 4 snapdragon variant and rooted it then cleared cashe via TWRP and ended up in boot loop so flashed another rom to solve this issue it was resolved but few days layer when i rebooted my phone it was showing "TO START ANDROID ENTER YOUR PIN " MY PIN FOR LOCK SCREEN WAS 3210 WHICH IS NOT WORKING NOW.I cleared phone again flashed same rom once again nothing seems to work . after many attempts with wrong password it wiped all data of phone even after that message was not going away
so i was told to flash another rom and after that password message was gone
but i flashed the oreo beta 8.0 rom by linage which did not spot volte i thought it was issue with my phone therefore i restored old backup of same linage oreo beta rom but during restoration an error came up wihlie restoring framework so i skipped and restored everything else and after that WIFI , BLUETOOTH , FINGERPRINT SENSOR , SIMCARD AND CAMERA stopped working i thouGht it was due to rom so i downloaded and flashed another rom but problem continues please help me

WiFi button does not work

So I have had this issue for a few months now. A month ago, I had got my wifi working by flashing and unbricking it using Msmdownload tool. But recently,it stopped working. I've basically tried the following to fix it:
1. Downgrading to stock Android 8,9 and 10 using Msmdownload tool.
2. Using Mauronofrio's fastboot tool.
3. Flashing Android 10: Almost all the roms on A10 (including xxx NoLimits). Pixen OS seemed to fix it once but later on I think I flashed a different kernel and my wifi has never worked since.
4. Flashing Android 11 : Almost all the new roms out there.
5. Resetting network and wifi settings.
6. Restarting phone in safe mode and trying to connect. Also tried to reset while in safe mode.
7. Wiping dalvik cache.
8. Clean update even by deleting system and vendor
I know that it isn't a hardware issue because recently when I flashed OOS 10.3.5, the wifi icon showed a question mark next to it, indicating that the wifi was still alive.
I don't know what the reason is but I just can't get the wifi to turn on in the first place, let alone searching for wifi.
Can somebody please help me?
Hey, I think I just had the same problem, you can read about it here.
Manually copying all partitions as described by the user Schwaus in this post (under EDIT 2) helped.
Good Luck

Issues with Mi Note 4, Wifi Address 02:00:00:00:00:00 appears disabled. and now Cannot install Stock ROM (via both TWRP recovery and fastboot)

Last year got OTA update for 11.0.2.0 and since then mobile was lagging, replacing my broken display last month, mobile started lagging and huuge battery drain.
So decided to try PixelExperience Custom Rom.. Custom ROm is way too smooth and very less laggy,
Installation went smooth but was missing some important features available on stock rom.
1. Cannot block calls from unknown numbers (prefer to only accept calls from contacts list, due to nature of work). (important).
2. I have 2 sim card Jio and VI, only use VI for receiving banking related SMS verifications, (on stock rom it was possible to disable VI and actively use another which is JIO), On custom rom i have to physically remove the VI card no option to disable same.. (important)
3. And some small things, which can be ignored..
Problem 1: I am unable to install stock ROM via recovery and as well fastboot.
I have an unlocked bootloader.
While trying from TWRP recovery: (trying this miui_HMNote4XGlobal_V11.0.2.0.NCFMIXM_83170d3e3a_7.0.zip)
Getting following error:
unmount of firmware failed: no such volumemount: failed to mount /dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/sec at /firmware: Invalid argument and then completes.
After rebooting, gets stuck on MI logo + unlocked bootloader screen.
Tried 10+ times (worked only once) then again tried after custom rom but now failing, unsure how it worked properly just once.
While trying via fastboot using MiFlashTool (trying this mido_global_images_V11.0.2.0.NCFMIXM_20191107.0000.00_7.0_global_91ed4d2a3f.tgz)
This process was working fine, until i clicked once on lock and flash option out of 3 options available at bottom. Now it wont work.
Getting following error:
Mi Flash Error error:Not catch checkpoint (\$fastboot -s .* lock),flash is not done
On removing \$fastboot -s .* lock from
Configuration Menu => Mi Flash Configuration => Checkpoint.
I get a success screen within 1 second and its stuck on fastboot screen..
Problem 2: Wifi Address 02:00:00:00:00:00 appears disabled. (disconnects) after installing Custom Rom.
Wifi Mac Address appears 02:00:00:00:00:00, while trying to connect to WiFi it automatically turns off after 2-3 seconds on stock rom now
I tried 2 custom roms, and wifi is running fine on those 2 ROMs, so its not a hardware issue.
What is the best possible way to get MAC address back ?
If I am able to install STOCK rom, I can root the device and fix wifi mac address with some play store tools, but unable to install stock rom.
Please guide and help, no replies from XDA, as most might have moved to new mobiles.
Can installing STOCK ROM can be issue becuase of PC issues too ?
Will try another PC tomorrow.

Question Stucked in bootloop

Hey,
I have got Xiaomi POCO X3 PRO NFC 8/256GB, most probably have android 11 MIUI 12.5.5 global, in EU. Been using automatic updatese. Please note, that I haven't flashed any custom software. Have been using vanilla OS since release and been updating it with automatic updates.
Suddenly my phone has entered bootloop state and I am not able to take it out of it since.
Latest action I have taken just before the problem started is that I connected my phone to charger during the game ( PGR) , while it was at around 40% charge. After short moment it has frozen and restarted the phone. Since then it has been constantly bootlooping with POCO icon and resetting again, turning off the screen and back to POCO icon - it has been for over 2 hours already. It doesn't feel that my power button is stuck.
Still can operate power + vol buttons reliably. I can access Fastboot and MIUI Recovery Menu 5.0, where I have 4 options:
1. Reboot - back to bootloop
2. Wipe data - haven't tried it yet
3. Connect to MIAssistant - TIL it is supposedly dead service?
4. Safemode - it brings me back to bootloop again
Tried to take out SIM and microsd, to no avail. Haven't tried to wipe out data until I try other solutions, to restore it, as I have some 2FA on it, which would be a pain to recover.
I haven't learned before around flashing and recovery for the last few years (only I have done it around android 4, 5 and 6). I would like request assistance - how to approach resolving this problem?
Currently I am reading on fastboot, which I believe might help me here, by connecting it to PC.
EDIT: Got around this https://xiaomiflashtool.com/tutorial/use-xiaomi-flash-tool and stock rom https://xiaomistockrom.com/xiaomi-poco-x3-pro , I believe it might work
EDIT #2: At 20.11.2022. At around end of october this issue started repeating out of nowhere. And then suddenly stop,
Then the phone bricked. Sent for warranty and just got it back.
Turns out that motherboard died and was the cause.

Thanks, will follow this to make back up and in case it occurs again.
Managed to resolve this problem by draining up my battery due to constant restarts(obviously can't pull out battery). After that happened, connected my phone to normal charger, juiced it up to 10% and phone started just fine.
I have tried to recreate this problem, however it didn't occur again.
