Google Camera for Honor Note 10 - Honor Note 10 Questions & Answers

Can you tell me which version of the Google Camera works on our beloved terminal? I've tried different versions, but none can work properly.
I need the Photo Sphere 360 mode, which is missing in the default camera!
Thank You

I found this version (https://forum.xda-developers.com/p10/themes/google-camera-kirin-t3771927), even if it is not the last works well for spherical photos.
If you have any updates about it (HDR and Slow Motion running) let me know.
Thank You
THANK YOU

I'm using this version.. The huawei app store automatically updated my v2.1 to v4.1

Im using app in this thread...
It stop working when i try to take a pic with flash
Edit: I installed new version V4 and it's fixed
I just wanted to know 1 thing please, I installed pixel experience on Xiaomi Note4x, Do I need to modify build prop with persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1 for your camera to be fully supported?
Edit2: (Sorry..) The app still crashes sometimes , and it get stuck with flash led open and doesnt take a pic :/
App crashes sometimes, camera stopped working, relaunch and keep stopped working and stop. Relaunch again with hdr off, can take picture, after took it, stopped working, relaunch turn on hdr, take a picture, failed, and stopped working. Keep on repeating until restart the phone, everything normal for while like few hours, and crashes occur again. @cardinal OREO rom

I have installed This latest version of Camera from the first post in this thread. I am using AOSIP ROM with Oreo 8.1 with Electrablue Kernel. Camera is working great for the first time for me. Picture quality is insanely Good. And Camera is stable. I found only one problem, If snaps are taken too fast (2 snaps) in Portrait mode, App crashes & none of photos from both snaps are saved. However, I can live with that. Because It can take Great Portrait photos in both front and rear camera. Great piece of work.

HDR+ not working with Portrait mode in Google camera

Hi!
I've tried Arnova's latest version of Google camera on my Nokia 6 TA-1024.
When I take pictures in normal mode, HDR+ working perfectly.
When I switch to Portrait mode, the picture looks Over Exposure.
This problem persists even after changing settings.
Please help me @sayedam which version can I use?

@abdulrahmanna1 can you specify the Arnova gcam version os i can help, im using GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.apk right now as it's the most stable and give the best for me at least. Just so you know no version is optimized for Nokia phones so you have to keep trying any version that is not for specific device.

The problem is with GoogleCamera-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.1.apk and not only with this Latest one. Other than following version I'm using right now, all the working apps have that problem.
I'm using Google camera v5.2.0.22.191678196 now.
It's cool and fixes over-exposure on Portrait mode (working HDR+ in portrait mode).
I've renamed the file, so I don't know the dev details. But its based on BSG mod.

This one is OK for me (Pie).

It works pretty well.
Not working:
- HDR off
- HDR+ advanced sometimes gives unrealistic colors
- slow motion makes the app crashes
- motion photo works in 16:9 only
- photo sphere seems to break the orientation

You don't need to enable anything: Moto One has the maximum level of hw support for camera2 api.

I forgot to mention that time exposure is limited to 1/3s (the Nokia one is up to 4s, I presume).
The lack of optical (or even digital) stabilization, further limits the usable range of time exposure, unless you use a tripod...

Hi everyone,
Which (stable) version of Google camera can be used on moto one stock pie?
Thanks.
I am currently using this:
https://f.celsoazevedo.com/file/gcamera/GCam_6.1.021_Advanced_V1.5.190418.1850.apk
I tried several versions and this one is good enough (the best I have found, in my opinion). Slow motion even works.
Main bugs:
- no Google lens menu
- poor quality audio
- WB not working.
If you decide to go for this one, the first time you'll open it you have to select the shortcut "take a selfie". The following times, you can simply tap the icon, as usual.

Any working gcam with touch focus ?

Which one GCam is the best for now for One Plus 6?

I'm not happy with stock camera so i think about install GCam but i don't know which version is the best for OP6. I have OOS v.9.0.5 if it's important.
I recommend the Version from Arnova's Advanced 1.5 (stable)

How I change the config to op6 and where I can fin it? I just install the apk
I'm still looking for the most stable for OP6. BTW Arnovas 1.5 and even 2.0 are buggy. But the Urnyx05 v4.5 is most stable for me so far, based on Gcam 6.1 which doesn't have time lapse in it. The new version of Urnyx05 based on Arnovas build works for timelapse but is buggy with potrait and photobooth.

Quick update, i just installed the latest Arnova V2.2 based on GCam 6.2, it's working like a charm, and has the Time Lapse feature, Dark Mode, ect.
No config needed. Just remember to uninstall the previous version first, it caused crashes for me when i just installed this without removing the old version.

I compared both several times, not being a pro either, seems to me that GCam is closer to reality in term of colors. But well, on Lineage there is no OOS cam to compare to, so i can't add anything to your observation

Fully Working GCAM for Z2 FORCE (5.1)

I finally found a GCAM port that doesn't crash!
HDR+ works perfectly
Portrait works
Lens blue works
Panorama works
Photo sphere works
Slo mo works
And video doesn't crash when in Nexus 6 auto for HDR+
Make sure you set front cam config to Nexus 6p and back cam to pixel II
Black level offset should be 16.90
Set the fixed black level Offset values to this IN ORDER to fix the green tint in low light:
64
64.20
64.20
63.80
Note: I did not make this, I just wanted to share it with you.

Worked OK for a few shots, then decided it was going to hang whenever I picked NightSite.
But do any of the 7.* Gcam ports work on the Z2 Force (Pie) without crashing? I tried one or two that could take a pic or two before they permanently went into auto-crash mode when I opened them.
Are there settings I need to set for the ports to work?

You might clear the cache and storage for the default and Gcam, then disable stock cam and try Gcam again. It can be finicky to setup.
Alternatively, this cam worked good for me. Burst mode worked great but no night site. So pick your poison. GCam-5.1.018-Pixel2Mod-Arnova8G2-V8.3b1.apk
I'm using this on Pie : PMGC_7.2.014_Relesed_V1.apk
No problems except of crashing in Video mode but you can capture videos from the photo mode while pressing down for 2sec the shooting button.
If there is another working version of Gcam as well, let us know.
I have also to notice that the Night Site seems very vivid as regards the colours, is this right?
This is the latest working (Night Sight, Portrait, etc) GCam for this phone (running Android v10) that I could find:
I am running LineageOS v17.1, and this seems to work great.
