Screen lifting from keyboard?

I was just wondering if anyone else could confirm whether the top left corner of their touch pro pushes down slightly into the keyboard when the device is closed.
The bottom left corner seems pretty solid and does not move down onto the keyboard as it sits very tightly on top of it where as the top left corner sits slightly above the keyboard and pushes down to close the gap between the top and bottom layer.
I just want to know if it was supposed to be like that or if mine is the only one, if it is just mine i might worry it might get worse?
yes, there is a very tiny amount of play there, but i'm sure its nothing to worry about.
Same here.
There is a gap of about 1 mm or a bit less at the top left corner.
I've checked another 3 TP's in a shop and they were all the same.
thanks for the info, that clears things up and brings a lot of relief. thanks
there is a bit of play here too
I can even... rotate it a bit

Thats exactly what mine did. I really hope these $1000 devices dont fall apart before I get another phone, that would really suck

both the tytn's had some play, I beat the hell out of my 8525 when I had it and never had a problem, from what I remember I think the actual tracks that the slide mechanism uses are metal so unless they changed that there shouldn't be any issues.
I don't expect it to become any worse soon.

Problem when closing screen on O2 xda exec

Just wondering if anyone else has ever had this problem. Every time i close the screen, even if i do it gently, the start button gets pressed or activated so when i open up the phone i get the garbled settings screen? Just curious if anyone had a fix for this. Also is there a way to fix touch being off a little, its like i kinda have to chase the touch cursor around the screen to get it to activate the "X" in the top right hand corner. I did try recalibrating the screen to which no avail.
O2 XDA Exec is running
Windows Mobile 6.5 Pro
CE OS 5.2.2.23004 (Build 23004.5.3.0 TML)
It sounds like you may have some grit in that corner of the screen. This would also make the touch-screen go a little weird. It's likely to be near the corner where the start button is. Maybe you need to disassemble the screen housing and make sure there is no debri in there.

[Q] Identify this part

Out of curiosity I'm browsing on ifixit's site for the Nexus S tear down and in one of the steps I was wondering what part the round thing hanging on the top left corner is, since it's not mentioned:

A cooler, perhaps...?
I am not sure, the top image in post 9 shows its other side, but the proxy here is messing up the page, so I canĀ“t click the picture to enlarge it =/

that seems like the vibrator that goes inside to shake it
Looks like the speaker(s).
Ah on second look it's the vibration motor.
the speaker is a rectangular looking thing with lines
It seems to be the vibration motor. I don't see the motor anywhere else.

[Q] new tf700 screen imperfection ?

I notice a small (3mm x 3mm ) spotty blemish (four tiny dots arranged like the new windows icon) on the screen, probably in the actual LCD (cannot touch it).
It is only visible when the screen displays white.
I suppose this is a manufacturing defection. Anything else about the screen seems fine. quite solid build, except for negligible 0.5mm give on the left edge.
Anything else I should particularly check for? Shall I exchange it at bb?
There is really no anything else as big and as light as tf700, right?
Thanks.
Hello.
Not sure if we talking about same issue but I also have this white dot, almost like a dead pixel but it isn't. Its possible to be seen only when white background and easier to spot when viewing from side, not straight ahead.
I believe this is what is called hot pixel.
Bad thing about this is that I first had 1, then 2. Then I returned it. Asus said no problems. Now I have 4 and I am seriously considering to returing this. Just that I need my tablet for work and I know for Asus it takes over 2 weeks to consider what they would do.
Probably when not so hectic at work I will go and try returning again.
I have on right hand side some loosening. If I press the screen where is the volume buttons I can feel it moves. It is the only place of the tablet where this kind of movement can be spotted.
Yet 3 of the hot pixels are on the left side of the tablet. The newest one is close to middle but a bit more to right side.
I'll definitely return mine to Best Buy, but a bit debating whether I shall stick with tf700t after all.
Any clue whether there is any systematic difference between retailers / batches of s/n's ?

Weird titled/warped screen effect (or illusion)

Hello. So, I have purchased this TCL 10L phone 3 days ago. It is a great device. Though, I am facing some small issues. I am looking at the screen and I feel like it is tilted at some points. Like it is elevated to the left side, though it is pushed down at the bottom left corner and also center. I am talking about a fraction of a millimeter.
I think I am imagining this because I have OCD (Obsessive-compulsive disorder). Though, I am not sure. I have tried changing the wallpaper and this tilted/elevated effect was reduced. I even felt the tilt effect change. Is it possible for a saturated screen to cause that illusion/effect that you would think some areas are more elevated than others?
Thanks for your time.
