Thanks for the response. Have you tested this or just basing off the power rating. I ask because I've tried some others with 25w with no joy.

Never seen another charger with the 10volt output that the original Vivo charger has.

Just did and the Razer Phone charger did not fast charge the Vivo Nex
You can buy the orginal chager here
https://liaow.com/vivo-nex-charger.html
Im still looking for a EU fast charger that works with the Vivo Nex.

Vivo support told me it is a proprietary charger and off the shelf chargers won't work. They don't currently have a US/JPN style plug.
Anker did say their R&D is working on a charger which will include Vivo and Oppo compatibility.
I bought a type b adapter which is ugly but works.

their charger work well in US, i dont need any adapter tho?

No adapter
No adapter, but it needs to be a type B plug. I have yet to find a charger for sale which will support dual core rapid fast quick charge.

The same for me, but EU pins

Is EU plug the same used in India? You can contact Vivo India and see if you can order one.

Try using a socket convertor standard to EU socket convertor. Getting vivo official charger for EU maybe difficult.

for fast charging, vivo uses 9V 2A or 10V 2.25A ?
found this http://www.original-solution.com/pr...720-fast-charge-with-micro-usb-cable-original
Should fast charge or not ?

I tried a 9V/2A adapter and fast charging didn't work. I think it really use the 10V/2.25A for fast charging.
I just order this one and give it a try. It can do 12V/2.25A, maybe that works. With 40% off coupon it was €17,99 and include free shipping.

OEM Charger

Does anyone know where i can get an identical charge like the one that came with the phone? The reason why is because the one that came with my G3 makes an almost hissing sound during charging and its making me nervous.
does it need to be identical? any 2.1a wall charger with a usb port will do fine. I use my wife's HTC and Nook plugs all the time
Ok and it doesn't damage the battery?
uhm no. rechargeable batteries need a charging circuit in order to not overcharge and blow up (tried it, it does happen lol) consumer electronics have this built in because they don't want their consumers catching fire. As long as you provide it power, it'll charge. The charging circuit will take care of the rest. 2.1a chargers are widely available and will provide a fast charge
Are you sure it's a 2.1a charger? I swear my D850 was 1.8a.
Yeah mine is 1.8a
Look on Amazon, but search for G2 chargers. I don't remember seeing any in the g3 section
Edit: looks like they have one now

My charger doesn't make a hissing sound while charging (at least not that I have noticed. I haven't stuck my ear up to the charger however). If this is happening to you, I would contact LG or your service provider to see about getting a replacement.

Literally any USB charger with a charging capacity of 2 amps or greater. Amperes are not like volts; a power supply can't have "too many" amps for a circuit.

Tronsmart quick charger 2.0

What do you think about this car/wall quick charger 2.0. Is this good quality brand?

Yeap, got the same one from amazon, works flawless.
I am not sure which one is better tronsmart or HTC TC-P1000? I always prefer genuine products but in this case am not sure. Here is link of tcp1000:

For me, i prefer the tronsmart ones, because the price is lower, and the most important, i can find they are qualcomm certified on qualcomm webiste, which make me feel confidence

Samsung isn't "Quick Charge". It's their own knockoff/brand/flavor of the same concept.
So Samsung chargers won't work with any other brand phones, and you can't get a Quick Charge with a Samsung phone. Kind of annoying of them, but I guess they're free to do what they want.

It sounds like you're **assuming** because it failed, it must not be original?
I'm not so sure that's a safe assumption. Nonetheless, I'd avoid the oem charger (I have multiple of them) as they get pretty warm, as does the phone, when charging.
Go with something that is highly rated and certified for Quick Charge 3. The Anker I bought charges faster and stays cooler than oem chargers do. There are various QC3 mfg to choose from, get one with high ratings and u should be all set.
This is the one I got, it works fine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077HFFLMS/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Ok thanks ?
FYI, the V30 is also USB PD compatible. It will quick charge with type C laptop chargers as well as Pixel and Essential phone chargers.
Edit- Nekteck brand makes IF certified chargers, it is available from Amazon and I have a car and wall charger that have both served me well.
Agreed, Anker is a great brand. Aukey is another good one - their cables are terrible (at least for USB micro, in my experience). Still, these are two great ways to go without wasting money on the LG (or any other brand's) rebadging.
I always use Blitzwolf. They have some great chargers / cables.
I also bought an Aukey one and it seems solid.
Just to put in my opinion, I like Blackweb products.

About using no Super VOOC chargers / cables ?

Hello everyone, I just purchased a Oppo Find X2 Pro, and Im really happy so far with the phone (just 2 weeks using it). I went through most of the posts in this forum before posting and I decided to register and discuss about a few things.
This post comes from my idea of trying to find compatible chargers and cars so I can have other options besides the one that comes with the phone
I read here several posts from people recommending NOT to use in a daily basis the official Super Vooc charger that comes with the phone, and that surprises me.
I had been talking with OPPO Uk support in the last days, asking them if this would damage the battery, and they always end up telling me the same sentence:
Use OPPO original charging cable and USB adapter. Third-party accessories might not be compatible with OPPO smartphone and cause problems.
Click to collapse
I feel like this may be just so you buy their accesories.
For example, I wanted to get a Super Vooc 2.0 charger but since its out of stock in the UK, I asked if then I couldnt charge at all my Find X2 Pro in my car, which was annoying, and I could temporarily use a regular car charger, so then they said:
As long as the cable is compatible with your Find X2 Pro model, you shoud be able to as the adaptor in question is just the adaptor and not the cable that goes into the phone's charging port.
Click to collapse
So I was looking for some experts opinion on charging the Find X2 Pro, since in the OPPO suport pages theres no info at all, which is annoying since its a new technology and they should explain the options we have to charge it.
For example, can I charge it using something like a usb socket from a Xiaomi Power Strip (which I have)?:

}
And if I can, do I have to user the official super vooc cable or just a regular usb-c usb-a cable?
Also, can I use one of my samsung usb chargers but using the usb-c cable?
Several questions like these ones I asked to OPPO support just to have the same reply of ussing the official to avoid problems. I asked besides charging slower would it cause any damage? and they wont reply directly but just say that its possible that damage could be done...
Charging through USB port uses standardized process. A phone must charge with any 5V USB power source and cable.
The charging speed may differ depending on charger and cable capabilities. You should just avoid low cost / poor quality chargers and cables as sometimes they doesn't fulfill the requirements (max voltage, current control, ...).
I'm charging my phone overnight using an old Sony 800mA charger with a OnePlus Dash charge cable, so it charges slowly and the phone remains cold.
At home on my desk I use a Legrand power strip with integrated 2A USB ports when I don't need fast charging, and it works fine.
At work I'm using a OnePlus Dash charger from my old 3T and its cable, and it's recognized by the phone as a VOOC charger ... Who said sister companies ?
Thanks for your reply. I imagined that in all of those cases the phone would charge, yes of course it works any charger and cable just changing the speed. The question for me is, could it be somewhat harmful to the battery in the long term. After the phone is expecting a super vooc cable and super vooc charger on the other side. Maybe this is stupid, I dont know much about electricity/batteries/etc...

You can use magnetic cables as well. A friend uses these vooc magnetic cables to charge his one plus device. He has two devices the 5t and 7 it both warp charges and dash charges.

Question Charging speeds low?

But the person above is stating it's "impossible" because the chip is limited to "23w" which is completely incorrect since the fast charging supports up to 30W. But alright. lol

In nearly every case, you can`t read the correct charging speeds by Software.
You need a good USB Powermeter or a power measure device on the wall.
Alright, best I can do with the Google 30W charger: 19W (Accubattery) or almost 21W with the meter. Still 2W are missing but I guess I can live with that.
