I want to buy honor note 10, Chinese version, with play store, but I remember it s a pain to synch Google contact on my honor note 8. How do u do for the contact info the note 10 ?

Google Contact Sync is integrated in the HN10.
You have to install Google Calendar Sync and Playstore yourself

Google contract sync still not working on Honor Note 10.
All application have access to contract but Google Contract services does not allow to sync. The button cannot be swiped to right direction.

Yes, Google account is activated. I have found out, the this is a BUG in Emui. So I have uploaded from Chrome and old Google Contact sync and rebooted the phone. Now it sees google account in Huawei address book and allows to sync.

Hi guys, just received my mate 7 32Gbps from.China with gmail and play store installed but it seems they forgot to add the contact sync option and it doesn't appear in the Google account option (I have only app, people contacts and email sync options).
Does anyone know how to retrieve my contacts and add this option on a chinese import mate 7 ???

Im in the same space as you are maly348. Usually for Huawei i root the phone and rename that XML file in the china directory and that takes care of the contacts sync issue but none of my one click root programs work with the mate 7 yet.
I am willing to paypal $50 to anyone that can help me get this done!

You just need to install GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.APK, that will enable you to sync your google contact. it is available in XDA forum please search for it. No need to root the phone for this function. It works on my Huawei P7 and Mate 7.

I have downloaded the GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk from cyanogenmod.org, they have a section for Google Apps. I have installed it using the built-in File Manager as a non-market app, no need to root device, which is great. However I have two google accounts that I am using for sync (one for private and one for business) and I can only enable sync for one of them. The other one, when I enable auto sync, it appears as if it is enabled but then the auto sync is switched off. Any ideas of what may be wrong? I installed the latest google apps package GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.apk from the cyanogenmod website, it is version 20140606 CM11.

Yes they are. I managed to now get both accounts to sync. After several attempts, the syncing switch finally stayed "on" for both.

you can find on google : GoogleContactsSyncAdapter.APK, download it, connect your phone by cable on your computer, or by wifi (wifi transfer for ex.) put apk file where you want on your phone and double tap for install, and it's done !

1) Factory reset your phone
2) After reset,
Download contact for android 6 apk
Then download contact sync APK for android 6
DO NOT LAUNCH OR EXECUTE any of them for now ...

Is contacts apk really nessecary? The native contacts won't work? As there will be 2 contact apps in the end.
Is there a calendar sync app nessecary to synconize Google calendar with the one built into EMIU?

Don't know exactly what I did. I went to Settings > Permissions Manager > Applications and turned on "Trust this application" for Google Calendar Sync and Google Contacts Sync. I am using a different calendar other than Google's. Didn't have to reset the phone.

Thank you for your guide.
I did try exactly as you said, but it doesn't work none the less. After factory reset, and adding Contacts and Contacts Sync, there isn't any Google account (just an Exchange account option) that can be paired to it, as there is no Google Account that can be added, sadly.
Will now try to install Google Play and hope that it will create an account that can be paired to the Contacts app.

Fixed! Installing Google Play did the trick.

I've installed Google Play Store and I can't add google account in native calendar app and contacts [emoji25] in NXT-DL00
Anyone could activate the google tap ? Phone does not open the menu for googele tap when i tap the home button twice or hold still.?

Install Google calendar too. Then sync possible.
Until now I didn't get the new design in my Google account even all other accounts and device for family is active I updated all Google apps and services

It will come eventually, if your device isn't to old and still support apps like Google photos, you'll be fine

Sorry, didn't understand, what's the problem again ?
My Google photos is working very smart and updated to 5.2 but new design with map view not available yet
So all other google services seem to be working fine, app store is good.
Contacts and calender refuse to update.
I go into User&Accounts>Google>Sync sync now and it syncs Fi/Fit data/People but not Contacts. returns 'sync is currently experiencing problmes, it will be back shortly"

Had the same issue. So I started from scratch with the installation of the Google Services until sync was working in-between the steps of installation.
Please tell me which version of installation did u use?
There are several... and which EMUI version did u use for installing the Google Services?

Folowed these directions, worked good, actually on Pro Plus and on 10.1.0.145

Actually I saw that on different p40 the symptoms are different.
I have p40 pro and after initial sync when I put the Google account stopped syncying and even yahoo syns does not work
I'd you are above 136 on p40 pro lz application does not work.
I used a different method to put Google services and still does not work.

everything syncs and works but google contacts... that is the strange part.
will probably wait till something breaks it good and then hope there is a better "method"
I can live with manually import/export contacts.
I was just hoping it was something simple but doesnt sound like it

Use app Fix Play Services 2020 and it will install new Play magazine and clear some cache and... It works. Now I can sync both Google and Yahoo accounts.
Remains the problems I have with Google Pay and Edenred Pay... Also I cannot sing in into UniCredit Account. Aplication is working but you cannot add your personal data.

Did it fix the google contact sync for u too? I'm also curious where you download the apk as it's not found in Aurora store. And the one I found from apkpure only do basic things like clear play services cache and stuff like that , that I already tried and not working.

It will drive you to Google play store and install an official one

I don't know how but it seems that this also solved the notifications issue for Gmail. I observed this morning that I receive Gmail notifications as soon as I receive an email in my Gmail account.

Yes i installed it after GMS... just uninstall the old version and install the new one .. GMS will work just fine

confirm, that works. before, contact syncing made was broken (from sync settings). now, contacts are syncing. thanks for sharing!
I Bought this app last year but now I can't downloaded as free in my Samsung new tablet S7 plus
