Add or Change off screen fixed gestures App - Vivo Nex Questions & Answers

Hello guys does anyone know if there is a way to add or change off screen gestures using different app or draw new kind of gesture??
As i can see there's only fixed gestures on chinece version but other Vivo devices has more customization option of using diferent app or draw custom gesture and add whatever app want.

https://www.guidingtech.com/vivo-v7-v7-plus-tips-tricks/
Is that possible with Vivo Nex device??
Here’s my only option on my device

But on Vivo V5-V7 there’s different app support.
Also when draw e no third party browser open like chrome or dolphin I’m using.

I manage screen gesture from fu touch OS and mix Edge Gesture (because i fell more confortable to find same navigation as i have on my Mix (MIUI 9)
Everything is smooth and edge gesture are easier when u use one hand.... use only left and right feature with this app...

Thanks but I’m not talking about gestures navigation but for off screen gesture.
Ability to open various app when the screen is off by drawing.
There’s different meaning between them.
Btw personal talking I don’t like MIUI edge gesture navigation system.
I prefer Vivo or OnePlus implementation and swipe from the bottom to all action not from edge swipe screen.

One X has full touch gesture area below display

Not sure if people have noticed this and I couldnt find anything on search related to this but,
the area below the display on the one x(mine's att) is full touch enabled and gesture capable(?)
I noticed this when I was swiping through the home screens and my thumb went below the display but it maintained full response to the touch. Then while swiping i went completely below the display and was swiping with my finger well below the display, basically having no direct contact to the screen and swiping back and fourth above where the capacitive buttons are. It also does this in other apps like maps, browser, etc, where ever touch gestures are made.
Im guessing maybe there are developer api's to this area of the screen, so it can be used as an additional way to interact with the phone, ala bb playbook.
Don't think there are any APIs out there. I think I saw this somewhere else on the thread and they were saying that you'd need a custom kernel to use it?? But yeah they have it there because it's cheaper to share the digitiser for the capacitive buttons. I know there was a ROM for ICS that let you swipe the bottom to unlock.....

Yeah, some of us knew this. Cm9 used it to put an invisible menu button to the right of the recent app button. I didn't much care for the option, but it still was cool.

Doesn't work for me

Yep, I know this as well.
There is something called "Sweep2Wake" which when you swipe across the capacitive buttons, it wakes/puts the device to sleep. Pretty nifty if we can get that implemented via kernel.
Yea MIUI v4 did the menu key next to the recent apps key thing. I realized this 4 hours after flashing the ROM lmao

TouchWiz Launcher Phone Remap?

Title explains it. Is there a way to remap the phone icon on the stock TW Launcher so it will launch the Google dialer app instead of the stock phone app?
Doubtful, but if ya wanna try and a really great full screen launcher give Total Launcher a try, I'm 100% Certain you could remake the left and right shortcut keys in it with the home page indicator too. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ss.launcher2&hl=en
I've been using Total Launcher for around 2 or 3 months now and haven't looked back at the TW Launcher

I'm using MRU (Most recently used widget) with 5 rows and 7 coulmns
As you can see, you could set up that bottom row on every single home screen page
You wouldn't need a app launcher icon as one of their home screen pages is the app drawer, so you could get creative and put a sms icon on the right side or whatever even leave it blank
You can even change the icon to any image you like
Now you can see a near complete edge launcher tw replica, I done the phone text shortcut as its more aesthetically pleasing to the eye with the stuff that has the soft menu on the right side of the screen.
If I can figure out a way to add any application as a shortcut I made out of a camera shortcut it has a text messages shortcut as well.
Camera
1st way
2nd way
I changed it up a lil
I think it's safe to say with Total Launcher making Note Edge Launcher TW Clone Homescreen the options are quite endless.

Changed it up a lil with Elixir 2
One more change added my own customized app drawer so I could get both left right shortchuts and a page indicator

Thanks to these awesome people for sticking with me! :
@Fly_7113 (dank memelorde and community helper, also made the app's icon)
@AdamGulyasJ (cool human, really really helped me with testing, and this app would probably have never been fixed without him>her)
Nice app...but not working on my Oneplus 6T as expected. I think it will work well with 'U' shaped Notch.
No more update?

Not work for me
I installed it and it worked, after a while it doesn't appear. I followed the instructions to enable accessibility but I got another message and I couldn't make it work. Uninstall it and I installed it again and it doesn't work. Something in MIUI changed that I can't use this app. The creator admits that there are strange behaviors in MIUI, a pity because I found it very useful. Redmi Note 7 MIUI 10
I can't fix Accessibility when I touch a message "This service will do this actions ..." Cancel or Accept but hit Accept and another mesagge That says "If one app is blocking ...." and I can't select Accessibility

New on this version!
The App detect when is in a pocket so you dont need to bother when you go for a run! It also has a sensibility configuration to adjust it to the user strength and preference.
Google play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kalantos.shakelight
After the android 8, google forces to show a notification for foreground services, but don't worry the notification can be hidden.
Steps:
Disable app notification (https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/stop-annoying-notifications-android/).
Disable foreground service notification (https://9to5google.com/2017/10/26/h...eo-using-battery-notification-android-basics/).
will try, thanks
I used to have a motorola X pure with this feature, but now is dead and I owned a xiami. One of the things I miss the most is the shaking gestures .
I download this app and works just the same as the one of motorola. The notification is quite anoying but after the steps you put it never show up again. Great Job
New version 1.2.2!
Proximity sensor, for avoiding mistaken shakes while walking.
Intensity of the shake configurable by user.
New version 1.2.3!
Improvements to sensibility configuration.
Shake gesture is now supported in ladscape mode.
If you have features you think that would help thus app growing tell me and I will work on them
We are about to launch a new version we need some people to join our test community if you want to help us send a mail to [email protected]
Wanna join the testing community! Really like the app!
I have some suggestions I sent you by email!
But I love the app, works perfect!
double shake option would also be great. Harder to trigger by mistake and easier when intended. Works good also on 10.

Deep Dive into the android gestures

Hello, I recently got a new Samsung Galaxy phone ( prior xiaomi user ).
On my previous phone, android 11 google pixel based rom, I used the android 11's gestures without a problem, my favourite one being the number 10 on this list. ( Android ALT TAB) https://www.computerworld.com/article/3439060/android-gestures.html
I want to know how I can achieve the same on my samsung galaxy phone (also android 11)
Goodlock family of apps including One Handed Operation plus (can setup custom navigation from L/R sides) give you more options.
Personally I loathe swipe navigation as the primary input.

I did try one handed operation app but it didn't give me the option to swipe the bottom of the screen left or right to snap (quickly transfer) between apps

It's only from the sides. It actually works very well and uses little battery. There's an option for a floating nav button cluster too. When the primary swipe or button navigation fail in a app, the One Handed Operation plus ones almost always works, saving a reboot.
My one N10+ is running on Android 10 and swipe gestures are default. They drove me crazy for 5 minutes until I set up the nav buttons.
Meh, it's not a Pixel; take advantage of the huge array of stock customization options available on the Galaxy Store. Free icon packs, themes and more. Try Sound Assistant to set up to 100 volume levels. There may be other apps in the Galaxy Store to modify swipe gestures from the bottom or in the phone's settings. I never explored this as I like my dinosaur navigation.
Check in settings>accessibility for possible options too. Use Setting search function as well.
This is a totally different animal than a Pixel.
