DONT WORKS, I'll try to fix this.
How to install:
1. Open Root Folder on your Phone
2. Search for "system" and open "priv-app"
3. Search for "AoD Service" Folder and open it
4. Paste the apk in this folder and rename it, as the original apk is called (Set Permissions to rw-r-r)

just try it , and not working too, no difference, still the AOD no changes
it stay on version 1.3.14
For me not working. Pasted in priv-app. Renamed and gave permissions. After reboot AOD does not show up in setings. I am on DD1 rom

Try to install any aod theme from store and then see if it start working pls update result

we have system dump before the damn phone is even released but yet can't unlock the bootloader on the V10....good job LG. While I can't use this, props to the OP for getting this and sharing

The H901 V10 has an Unlocked bootloader. So not all of the v10s are locked.
@xpirt can you pull /vendor I'm assuming LG made the jump to the vendor partition now.

couldn't pull it, all symlinks are actually missing too for some reason.
Interesting. The framework folder seems to have two lots of zip files for every jar. So there's a "am.jar.zip" and a "am.jar (1).zip".
I've never seen that before, is that normal?
I'm working on a deodexing tool and it'd be handy to know if this is something I'll have to deal with..

art changes in android 7.0, more info on oat2dex source code (you can take a look at closed issues, there are some discussions and solution to deodex nougat odex framework, still wip though)

i asked him which program used because with superr-kitchen you can remove META-INF folder and he removed that folder from some apk (like systemUI)

I managed to deodex the rom with SVADeodexerForArtx64, but i cant get it booth either, meta-inf was intact but there some changes introduced in android 7

for now i know only frameworks can't be deodex
SVADeodexer hasn't new smali/baksmali so it's impossible deodex with this tool

I have been an honor 7 user and was successful to get its bootloader unlocked, rooted and flashed one of the best custom roms for h7 by the help of Honor 7 Multi-Tool by @inside!out
And today the developer has brought us something to h8 so we can make use of despite of it is still in translating phase (project not fully displayed in English)
Let's give a big thanks for the developer and his team and support them as much as we can, knowing that the tool can handle different versions of Honor 8 as well as other models not limited to 5x, 6, 7 but other models as well.

1. Autoupdate
2. More features
3. Almost Every day updates
4. Low installer weight
5. Try and spot the difference yourself.
It looks very useful but is mostly in russian. I have tried some links in honor 7 thread, but all of .bat are part in english part in russian.
I'll follow your work waiting a full translate version and try it.

Install as normal APK. No root needed for most of the apps.
Do not install Contacts app, it will prevent you from receiving calls.
To install the new AOD, you must clear data and cache for it after install, otherwise it will crash.
Do not install Camera - it will crash sometimes.
Wrongly installed updates can be removed with Package Disabler Pro by clicking on the app name and selecting Silent uninstall.
I take no responsibility for any damaged, crashed phones and/or lost data.

Not yet, but don't install the samsung keyboard because it will fail and your phone will have some act weird

There are some xml files referencing infinity wallpapers in SystemUI.apk for each color

I downloaded it from APK mirror. But it showing package error. Others are all installed. But gallery not.
