installing it with odin is very simple: download the firmware from sammobile or any other site and decompose the archive; install the drivers but I think you already have them is match every file extracted to odin. click start with the mobile connected to the PC in download mode and wait. you will continue to receive the ota.

the updates ota continue to receive but the CSC you install. the data, unfortunately, you lose them.

I advise you to use the csc format so that you are sure to receive updates and prevent from any error.

i tried to download united arab emarites from sammobile many times but every time a try to extrat it i have a problem

I also had problems are you using windows 10? are you using winrar or are you browsing windows files?

I can not explain why, but I tried with my second PC with windows 8.1 and it will work; if you do not have windows 8.1 try on a mac or virtual machine

move the archive to the mobile phone and extract it then transfer it to the PC and install it

I install from Kies, after finish do a full wipe and after that, the virizon logo takes about 20 minutes to go away

I have the s8+ UK on contract with 3 I am wondering if I can flash the oreo beta with odin my phone is completely stock I would like to keep it stock without triggering Knox any ideas.
I done this with nougat beta on the s7 edge

Its from the samfirm tool, type your model and region use BTU, then make sure auto is checked. Use ODIN to flash the files (will wipe data as you need to flash the CSC_OXM)

Home CSC will keep whatever your current one is and the beta won't be available.
I flashed the "CSC_OXM" file, IT WILL WIPE YOUR DATA! so make sure you backup anything you wish to keep!

i tried various vpn (both on phone and PC with hisuite) from Canada and Asia, but that did not do the trick
still on 9.1 in France for the moment
Seems like CUST and PRELOAD files for clt-l29c636 are up on firmware finder.
Since I'm rooted and banned for OTA update I'm going to update manually with HisuiteProxy method.
This will probably relock my bootloader for good, but that's the way it goes, I'm going to sell the phone anyway.
Method seems working, update showed up in Hisuite and I'm downloading now.
It worked! updated to 10.0.161 with no data loss
bootloader was relocked

Alright, so I have a G8141 stock that I am using on US AA&T network. I would like to enable VoLTE and Wifi Calling without disabling my fingerprint sensor. I think all I need is the modem file but haven't messed with ROM's in about five years. Could I get some help please?

All , and when you are going to flash , exclude all and just leave the file you want to flash. I know it doesn't make sense , but if you need to flash it all , you'll have a full firmware.

It's strange, did you manage to crate the FTF file ??
You just need to select the folder and then flashtool will recognize it's contents, all you need to do is select the model of the phone and give a name to the file and the click on create . There's a tutorial over here on how to create the FTF file.

-Flash TB-J706F_CN_WIFI_USER_Q00010.0_R_ZUI_12.6.133_ST_210813_qpst
-Modify QCN file to Chinese Lock
-Rename updates file ( *.zip) to update.zip update manually one by one
All of that step require you to search for yourself how to do it read it carefully or you will mess up things

I used a video tutorial but there is a weird green line on the display but it seems to be a firmware bug, the tablet is still downloading updates i will let you know what happens next. thank you for your time and help

update to lastest version then you will not have that issue at all
make sure you change qcn value or it will show unsupported ( 01 )

It's now stuck at the 12.6 OTA as this is the one that checks for the region, I will follow your guide and let you know how it went thank you for everything
It's giving me the error ''the current system is not compatible with this hardware'' then powers off.
I honestly did not expect that there would be one more update and much less expected it to be a new version of Android, I thought I would stay forever with Android 11
I just hope they fixed the issue of notifications not showing up.
Now to wait if they dare to release a new Android update for the Global version.
