Shuttletraq app experience - Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro

Hi,
I read about the Shuttletraq app that can be used along with the gear fit 2 pro to track badminton.
I was wondering if anyone has used it and if you could let me know your reviews.
Thanks

Note 2 video widget

Just a had a play about with the Note 2 and was happy to see it had a Video Widget:laugh:,not the player but a 100% widget, question is,will we get this as an update when it comes out with JB for us or has anyone, someway or the other, tried it one the Note 1,if so is there a link somewhere to download??
Looked in the forums for similar threads but only found things about the Note video Player,I would like the widget.
Pretty sure this is a question so wrong section. And we dont know what our jb rom will have all it will be is speculation, will it just be a mirror of the note 2 rom or will it be a stripped down version with a few features from note 2 or will it be a total diffrent take on the whole rom. No one knows for certain.

I'm glad this thread has been started tho as it's been my long-term goal to get a good video widget on Android. HTC and Samsung both have versions, but assuming we will not get these on the Note, has anyone ever found any alternatives? I scour the web every three months or so but without success so far

Visit the play store and download Super Video. You can set it as a widget. Also has pop up play function. Works without problems on my Note even full hd video. The best alternative to the build in player.

[Q] Sony Smart Watch - Browser?

I just ordered my first smartwatch (Sony Smart Watch) for 130 $. I have high expectation, because I believe this got a big potential.
Anyways my question is if there are any browser apps for the smart watch?
i dont know, but can you post here your impression of the smarth watch? I'd love to hear what it is
As far as I know, there currently is no working browser available for the SmartWatch. There are people out there working on it though. I found this app called SmartChrome (hxxp://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rza.liveview.SmartChrome&hl=nl) that should resemble a browser but it does not show up in the list of apps once it is installed so I guess we'll have to wait until this issue gets addressed by the developer of said app.

There is now:
play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=se.vaggan.webbrowser
Web browsing is tough enough on a smartphone (I have a Note II and I still find the screen too small!). Try it on your Smartwatch and you'll really appreciate your phone! But yes as the previous poster mentioned, if you must access full websites from your 1.3" 0.016 megapixel watch, WebBrowser for SmartWatch by Vaggan is the way to go.

Themer launcher app

So I was browsing through some of the screens on mycolorscreen.com, and I noticed that they have some really nice looking home screens that can be applied just by using the "Themer" launcher app. I was wondering whether anybody is using this on their Galaxy S7, and if so, would you share your experience with it so far? For those who have used this on previous android devices, please chime in as well. Thanks

Gear S2 connection with non-samsung phones?

Hi all,
I'm looking at buying my first smart watch and the gear s2 seems to tick all the boxes for me. However, I've come across the gear app and plugin app in the play store and the reviews are terrible, with users bringing up issues with connectivity dropouts and the like.
I just wondered on your experiences on non-samsung phones with the S2?
(I'm on Nexus 6P, non rooted, 7.1.1)
Cheers!

I have a GS2 Classic paired to a Moto Droid Turbo 2. Generally, no problems.
Occasional disconnects after upgrading to Nougat, but less than one/week.

There are few differences in features available on the watch when using Samsung phone vs other brands. I know this first hand because I switched from a LG to a Samsung. But don't take my word for it, here's a chart that highlights the differences.

Fine on xperia Z5C
All go fine on p9 lite. No issues and good connectivity.
However you can pair with all Android (4.3+) and at least 1.5GB of RAM. I read that you can pair the watch to smartphones with 1GB of RAM, but you have to modify Samsung Manager apk, see https://forum.xda-developers.com/gear-s2/help/pair-gear-s2-moto-g-t3323385.
Yes you can use it with smartphone that has 1GB of RAM, but you need to use a modified Samsung Gear app.
Modified Samsung Gear app is available on my blog, I will try to update it as frequently as possible.

First experience I connect Gear S2 to Sony Xperia Z3 compact. Connection without problem but Gear app crashed. I solve it by installing older version of Gear app from APK mirror ( app from april 2016). It have no limitation. It was probably caused by ROOT.
Next I connect it to Moto Z play. No problem at all.
using non samsung phones we lost all the paid apps, right?
That s*cks :/

App purchases are tied to your Samsung account, not the device. They only need be purchased once. Devices can be changed at will.

Gear s2 And Pocophone f1 compatiblity.

Hi
I'm thinking about buying the pocophone, but first I would like to know if it works with my gear s2. There is someone who has a way to prove compatibility between the two devices.
Thanks to anyone who helps me with my problem.
yes, I use my Gear S2 and my S3 on my Pocophone F1. The 2 watch are on the phone and works. Just see last time I used the S2, I not see the Calendar event on the watch with the widget. Do not know if it is just a one time bug ? after I used the S3 and the S3 displayed my events.
confirmed, i use the pocophone f1 as well on beta version

Maybe consider getting the Mi8 too, this way you will absolutely get all of your LTE bands, plus have AMOLED.
My gear 2 works great with the Mi8 and since the mi 9 came out yesterday. MI8 Prices are being cut by a large margin.

I use the Samsung gear S3 with Pocophone, but...
I have several issues I didn't have even I still had my Samsung.
The connection to my phone is lost often, and mostly I have to manually reconnect it from my phone.
I often don't get notifications even though the connection is there.
The find my phone feature doesn't work.
But, it is alright.
The Pocophone is really excellent and a very good buy. Just don't count on a smooth operation with your Samsung gear.
You must exclude from battery optimisation all apps needed : Samsung Wearable, Gear S plugin et Accesory service. And verify at each reboot and exclude again because some or all this 3 apps do not keep the battery settings after reboot. And prevent from unload with the lock icon on running list apps.
