Because rom is chinese no, there is no way right now
Act according to install steps: -into aroma and keep default choice and go next.

No I did not make any changes with the system apps.
I did flash the stock rom, do a full wipe and clean install the rom by default settings as you said.

there are so many preinstalled non removable bloatware / chinese app
i flashed XZP JUNKCLEANER.zip but its same
more over the rom is lagging alot, each click gives microsecond and boot takes alot of time.
i tried toggling Airoplane mode and sim never registered back.
I am sorry i will be going back to stockrom! but i was very excited to see the xz2 launcher!

How to install:
Download/copy Rom to the memory card
In recovery make wipe data, wipe cache, and wipe dalvik

Important information on latest version 11.06.2013::
To update the rom with previous version (09.05/03.06), in recovery enough to do wipe cache and dalvik cache. Everything including wifi should work. If some application isn't working properly, clear the application data in Settings > Applications
Rom for a few minutes after the start may a little slowly work. Wait for all processes to be loaded and then you feel the speed
For improve the working of rom, I recommend to delete file "99seeder" in the system/etc/init.d
You can do this a file manager with root privileges (eg root explorer).
When you delete the file, mandatory make restart phone.
Recommended options:
I will recommend changes clock speed CPU Clk4 at least 1100 and possibly change voltage Vsel1-Vsel3 5-10 less. These changes have practically no effect on the battery and phone noticeably better working.
To use these options, run phone again in Bootmenu > CPU Settings and set an appropriate value (eg as above). Finally, slide down and press Save. Changes will be saved permanently and will not change when you reboot the phone.

i love this rom..but the battery i notice after using for one day..android OS and media server take up too much battery..any solution? overall this rom is really smooth..fast..i really like all the features and fluidity..good job man!!
Maybe restart your phone. I think that after second charge phone battery will function normally. On my phone, battery works just like the other CM10.

Looks interesting, I've moved on from my Defy but I'll try it out as I'm quite happy using slim bean on my S3 and Nexus 7. Would be nice to breathe some new life into this phone.
Edit: Has this ROM been tested with any of the available custom kernels (i.e JellyX)?
I haven't tested custom kernels. Probably one of the older jellyx will work.
I think that no need for custom kernels because standard rom is fast.

Just flashed this ROM. Wi-Fi reception is a bit weaker than other Quarx ROMs, and can't connect to other access points I'm used to, but lucky for me I have several access points, so not THAT big an issue. Aside from that, loving it so far, already managed to record a 2 minute video with stock camera app without the audio cutting during the recording, so depending on battery life, I'll probably stay on this ROM.
Also, very customizable. Nice work. :good:
Edit: Boot also takes a bit longer than what I'm used to, not a big issue though, just an observation. And sometimes it takes a while for my sim card to register to the network, will see how it behaves during the next few days.
Very nice rom, snappy and interactive. Only problem I'm facing is my text messages don't get delivered. It always fails please let me know if there's a solution?

SMS messages are working fine for me, but I did have this problem on one of the CM10 roms. The only fix was to wipe data/cache from custom recovery. It also might be a problem with your message service center.
Dial *+*+4636+*+*, then go to "Phone information", and scroll down to the "SMSC" and press "Resfresh". It should show a number that corresponds to your carrier. Call your carrier and confirm that that is the correct SMSC number. If it's not, ask them for the correct number, write it down in the box and press update. Not sure if you have to reboot or not, and generally this is not necessary since your phone should find the correct number automatically.
If this doesn't work, I'd wipe data and check again; that's what worked for me anyway (can't find the source right now, sorry), so you never know.

How to install:
- download rom file
- copy rom file to Sdcard
- go to recovery
- wipe data , cache and dalvik cache (you can do this in aroma)
- install .zip file
- select installation type:

Typical --> All recommended features will be installed.
Custom --> You can sellect mods or apps to install/uninstall
- select finish and the phone will reboot
- after booting tap on Settings-->Manage ROOT Permission and turn on root :
- after 1 minute reboot again
- Enjoy MiuiV4
- DON'T WIPE data after installing finished!!! (because some apps installed in data,...)
App installer Script:
After installing new rom you should install so many apps. It takes too much time. I have written a script that automatically install several apps with two simple commands!
Just put your apps in a folder and install Terminal Emulator app and type this commands:

Q: What is aroma installer?
A: When you install Linux, Windows, Mac or applications on the PC, You can always customize your installation as you want. Why can’t we do the same installing an android rom? Now we can - Aroma Installer gives you this possibility!
Q: Is this rom multi-language?
A: Yes, it support LTR and RTL languages, but the translation of rom is not complete.
Q: Is there any way to have app drawer on miui launcher?
A: No, but you can create a folder and drag all apps to it. Then put the folder to center of dock bar.
Q: How can I create shortcuts on home screen?
A: Press menu>Edit widgets and now again press menu>add to see shortcuts.
Q: How to disable slide lock before pattern?
A: Go to Settings>Developer options and enable “Access system directly”.
Q: I disabled navbar at aroma. How can I enable it?
A: Install and open MiXplorer (or similar file manager) and edit this line at build.prop (it’s located on root/system)

Q: How to set a mp3 ringtone?
A: There is a bug. You can only set mp3 ringtones using theme manager. So open “theme” app and go to “mix” tab and select ringtone.

A: Because of our device’s small screen, some themes may brick the rom. This patch will copy to SD card automatically by aroma installer and help you to restore miui default theme. Just go to recovery and install it as normal patch.
Q: Why my status bar show notifications as 3dots (…)?
A: It’s a feature of miui. You can customize status bar notifications at Settings>Status bar settings>Customize status bar notification.
Q: Is this rom compatible with xposed framework?
A: Unfortunately no, but I have sent a log to xposed developer to fix the issue.
Q: How to open app info from launcher?

Miui ROM has a diffrent world . it has so many advantages. customizable themes , Guard mode ( they can open your sms app but your messages and Call log are hidden) , backup app , online themes ....
and it has a very beautiful UI

we can't remove it... but every time that a notification appears network operator name disappears itself...
if you botherd from those 3 dots in statusbar when a notification appears, go to settings --> Status bar Settings --> Customize status bar notification and turn off this feature (Hide notification) or choose the application.

I have some suggestions for making this rom better ( If possible )
1-Reduce height of dialpad (specially contact - phone - delete buttons and vertical space between numbers )
2- Making quick access to toggles from statusbar like CM JB , in cm u can select right or left side of statusbar to go directly to toggles (quick settings)
3- Sliding notification panel to toggles and inverse (It sometimes works but not always and accurate )
4- Access to statusbar in lockscreen
5- some pngs like edge icon in signal bar needs to be resized its blur
6- Adding screenshot button to power panel , becuz statusbar is not available in all apps

Yeah, as you said, this is a stock themed an optimized rom, not much modifications and fully working emui.

Haven't tried dual sim as the european version doesn't have it, maybe it works, but I don't know. No call record support for now, maybe u can add that feature (if its an apk) adding it from other rom

Not customizations added from kang, only some cust folders to make it boot properly with theme. You can just add kang apks included in /system/framework and see if it's working

Dpi isn't changed, you can change it at build.prop before installation opening my rom zip /system/build.prop
Good to see someone working on a custom rom for Mate 7!
I'm donwloading now, and will flash it today.
After the first two hours with this rom:
- VERY fast and very snappy
- fastest reboot of all roms
- fast and stable 4g in germany (telekom)
- the fingerprint sensor seems a little bit better than in KingVIPs custom rom
My wishes for the next version:
- 3 ways reboot
- option to disable carrier name in navigaton bar
- custom battery icons

I've already tried that. GravityBox isn't really working with huawei roms.
Thanx for your work! For next Rom i wish some optical tweaks like Kangvip, center clock, other battery symbol,disable carrier etc. And please, make ext. SD card writeable, ok its simple to use SD card fix from market, but build in your rom, spend time
Edit: I think there was in little bug in mobile setting, i have no LTE entry there are only 3 point , see the screenshot. But LTE was active.
But when i swtich one time to another setting like WCDMA/GSN auto, i cant switch back to LTE because there is no point LTE.
I mus use an App to switch back to LTE.
Already try dual SIM selecter it no work 。。。。。
I have flashed this ROM now, just a quick question? There doesn't seem to be any way to remove app shortcuts from the launcher without deleting (re-uninstall) them. The app drawer seems a bit superfluous if I still have to have all my apps on the home screens. Am I missing something?

How to install first time
Download ZIP below (download center)
Reboot - recovery (power + volume up)
Make a full backup of your current ROM and copy it to your computer to prevent issues (even make a EFS backup!!)
Wipe: Dalvik, Cache, Data, System (DO NOT WIPE USERDATA)
Install ZIP Rom (you don't need to be root to install it).
**IMPORTANT ADVISE: Sometines TWRP have issues installing .zip and get Error 7. If this happend, please reinstall ROM twice. In the second try, TWRP will can install without problems. If you still having this issue, check if in ''mount'' option, you have disabled ''system-read only''. Install again, and If you still having this issue, please, re-download the ROM (sometimes servers download to you a corrupt .zip file...).
**IMPORTANT ADVISE 2: On first boot, you will get one bootloop, THAT'S NORMAL, this is caused by ROOT, please, do not interrupt process and look how your device turns ON in 10-15 minutes. Next time you turn ON your device, it will turn ON like always .
Reboot system and wait 10-15 minutes until Smartphone load all system (only first time)

Would you be able to change the way notifications work? No longer need 2 fingers to expand a notification to perform an action or see multiple notifications? Or is this a limitation in MIUI and I would need xposed to do this?

Thanks for posting on XDA! I do have to endorse that this ROM is stable. Just remember clean install, dirty flashing has lead to problems for some.
I get a crash during loading football manager 2017.
Tried everything, giving all permissions still no joy. Crashes at the same point every time.
Works on Chinese rom.

So I'm on the 7.1.12 and I have my Gear S3 and August Smart home app(when I click sign-in button. If clicking setup it doesn't crash). Only wiped delvik when I flashed the update thru TWRP. Anyone else? Any way to fix this? Thank you
I'm about to buy the Xiaomi Mi Mix and I had some questions about using this ROM:
1. Do I need to install lithium 8.0.8 first, then install Epic ROM or can I install over whatever the phone comes with?
2. Which version of TWRP do I use?
I know a lot of this has been covered before, so I apologize in advance. I'm coming from a Nexus 6p running TwistedROM and DespairDev kernel, so I know how to flash ROMs, recoveries, etc.

I read somewhere in MIUI forum, this is a known bug and the only fix is wait for the Global ROM to be released by Xiaomi and only then the dev can fix the issue

I've the same issue with globeROM. No Alarm. I'm not in Airplane mode. Stock Alarm is used. ROM version 7.1.12

I'm not using any sort of task automation myself,but, I am using Google Clock as my alarm & I have the stock one disabled.
I'd also recommend locking the alarm app in recents (if possible), see if that helps

Installation-
1. Install in Magisk Manager
2. Read everything
3. Select Option when asked
4. Reboot device
5. Open the OxyPlus app and give root permission
6. Do your changes according to your needs.
The installation will detect any conflictions or any old versions to remove that automatically before installing further.
Notes:1. Magisk Module comes with some tweaks within the Module for a smoother experience.
2. Oxygen Profile need to be applied manually for the first time from the app and then any applied profile will automatically get applied after any reboot.
3. It is recommended to use with stock kernel but you can try with a different kernel that comes with governers- schedutil, conservative, powersave and performance

Notes for Oxygen Expansion [OxyModPlus]

Install Overlay Mount Fix Module for themes to work properly

After any reboot your dedicated Oxygen Profile will get applied automatically only after unlocking device.

Uninstallation -
In any situation I have given some options to uninstall it
----
Option 1: Disable and Remove OxyMod Module from Magisk (Remove only main OxyMod Module) and reboot.
----
Option 2: You will find "zzzzoxy-files" folder in your phone storage and inside it there is an uninstaller, install that in Magisk and reboot.
----
Option 3: Delete Main Module Folder using any root explorer like "Solid Explorer (free)
----
Option 4: In TWRP delete main module folder
----
Whenever you install OxyMod you can see in Magisk Module List there is one more Module named as OxyMod Helper or OxyMod AutoUninstaller. Dont touch that. That's the module that helps Main Module to work properly and also this is the module that handles all uninstalling methods.

Yes.
But you can try with custom kernels that comes with governors schedutil, conservative, powersave and performance. Four of them is needed.

This module gives me some errors when changing from light to dark mode. It doesn't change until I restart the UI in the oxy app. Also text becomes unreadable.
Anyone else also facing this issue? I'm on magisk 24.1 with zygote active.

Second release is not yet officially available here.
It was on Telegram only for few minutes (for 11.0.6.1) and then pulled back because of some issues.
And the thats not just with that orange etc.
Infact with McLaren CyberPunk and StarWars Theme (Selectable within app)
Option for the stock will also be there.
