6gb-64gb edition does it come with 3300 or 3400 battery? - Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S Questions & Answers

Any ideas?
THanks!

All variants will have a typical capacity of 3400 mAh, with a minimum capacity of 3300 mAh. Source (under "充电与电池") with screenshot attached.

Who cares if you cannot buy the thing?

"All variants will have a typical capacity of 3400 mAh, with a minimum capacity of 3300 mAh."
I saw the same and find it confusing. Does it mean 3400 or 3300? For instance on gearbest under specs it says 3300 for the 64gb version.

Because they can't assure all batteries to have the exact same capacity (due to some uncertainties in the chemistry and manufacturing process), they assure you a minimum capacity of 3300 mAh in each manufactured cell with an average capacity of 3400 mAh overall. Showing these min./typ. values are becoming quite a common practice for batteries (especially rechargeables), and you can find it in other phones too (e.g. my old LG G5 battery states a minimum capacity of 2700 mAh with a typical capacity of 2800 mAh, shown in the image below on the top right).

So just to clarify things further, when it is advertised that "the battery of this phone is 4000 mAh", they are usually referring to the typical capacity of the battery, not the minimum. In this case, it seems Gearbest is showing the incorrect value.

Amazon sourced Ecell - Gold Sen Sation battery :)

So some time ago I ordered from Amazon, one of these Ecell Gold 2430MaH batteries. Yes I have read the comments about those sourced from ebay, but for a few pounds I was willing to try from Amazon, given their splendid customer service and returns policy.

This is the item I bought, and after wiping the battery stats and a few charges later, this thing is simply amazing.
My phone has been unplugged since 8:00 am this morning. So far I have:
Installed a new Kernel,
Used titanium to move 200 apps to SD, and am now performing a backup of all apps & system data (383 elements)
At 13:50 the battery is still at 95%. This battery sees me through to the end of the day, and when things are quiet (over the weekend etc) will last more than 80 hours.
Now although I understand the bad stories about this item from eBay, and I doubt whether it is truly anywhere near 2430 MaH - I have to say I am mightily impressed. It far outperforms my stock battery and the XE equivalent.

If you Peel the sticker off you will see a model number and 1730 stamped on the metal. If you look those numbers up you will find people are reporting 1730 as the capacity. There are several companies using that same battery with different stickers (and different capacity claims)

External battery - the differences in power and charging time

Hi everyone,
Looking for an external battery to the phone I9505 Galaxy S4. I found two that I liked, but I'm trying to figure out if I can use them for galaxy i9505.
It's about 2 batteries, which look identical (as shown below), but differ in capacity and power input:

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",

}
Code:
Capacity: 3200mAh
Input: DC 5V / 800mAh
Output: DC 5V / 800mAh
Charging Time: 3H
Cycle Life: 500 times
Code:
Capacity: 4500mAh
Input: DC5V / 500mA
Output: DC5V / 800mA
Charging Time: 8 hours
Cycle Life: 500 times
If any input power may cause problems?
The second thing.. I found on many pages that these batteries are designed for models I9500 - the point is.. if you take a percentage of these models, eg on ebay only 1/10 was an indication of the model I9505. Is it safe to use both batteries?
The third issue is whether it is true that the longer (slower) the battery was charged, the greater lifetime retains ?
I appreciate any advice.
Best regards
You aren't going to notice a difference in life cycles at those charging rates. Batteries have shorter life cycles when charged at very high amperage, like in cars.
I think the bodies are all the same.

External Battery

Has anyone bought a portable battery for charging? Ideally something that supports Quick Charging.
The smallest one I've found is this one:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XDNBJCO
5200Mah. 3.9x0.8x1.9 inches 4.7oz
I bought a choetech, 10400mah qc 2.0 compatible both out and in so it charges itself fast with my qc 2.0 charger too

Yea i use my xiaomi powerbank 10400mah that i bought from gearbest for like 15 bucks but things like that are always handy for gadgets so i would get 1 fast
I bought an Orico Q1 . It Costs me about 98CNY(about 14 US dollars). But i guess the efficiency isn`t very high.
I bought the Anker PowerCore Speed 10000 QC, which is 10,000 mAH and QuickCharge 3.0:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JIYWUBA
It's the best capacity to size ratio I could find with QuickCharge, and plenty of juice to charge a few times, or multiple devices before needing to recharge it. Luckily the Z5c has such great battery life I very rarely come close to needing it, but good for traveling and piece of mind.
Hey,
I use this one for my z5c :
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01B645YYK/
20000mha, quick charge 2.0 (I don't think the z5c support QC 3.0) , and airPower (love this feature of AUKEY)
Maybe a little big, it depend of what you want, but it work perfectly.

Anker Powercore 20000 QC 2.0 or Anker Powercore 26800 QC 3.0

Having troubles deciding between the two here. Smaller 20000 Powercore offers Quick Charge 3.0 for future proof, I do plan on upgrading every year to the newest flag ship phone. But the Powercore 26800 offers better design, bigger battery, and quick charge wall adapter capability. I was leaning toward the 26800 for the design and bigger battery but the Quick Charge 2.0 limit might come back and get me with Note 8.

Anker Powercore 26800
https://www.amazon.com/Anker-PowerC...id=1474518632&sr=1-6&keywords=anker+powercore
What would you guys recommend?
From my understanding, the difference between QC 2.0 and 3.0 are minute.
IMO, I wouldn't worry about it and get what you like.

I had the 20k mah and it was good but it doesn't have quick charge. I so have the 26k one and its good. Big but good. I also have 2 10k mah powercores. Both great, i carry both daily.
They come in handy like it has been for me here in Puerto Rico. Most if the island has been without power for ovwr 24hrs now due to a power plant failure
dunno quick charger 2.0 is good enough. both seems to charger the same on the note7 speedwise. The only bonus i see to quickcharge 3 is it doesnt seem to run as hot.

S7 Edge battery in S7

Hi
I've searched but no luck.
I know we can fit s7e & s7 battery in the s6. But is it possible to fit the s7e 3600 mah battery in the regular s7 ? Or is there a decent third party battery which is bigger and would fit ?
thanks
I have the same question!
Sadly you cannot as the battery compartment on the Galaxy S7 is much smaller than the one found on the S6 or S7 Edge.

I wouldn't recommend you install it in your S7 until you get a wise reliable information from someone who really knows, since the kernel of the s7 device is programmed to read the battery as a 3000mAh we don't know what are the consequences if you will install a bigger capacity battery to it, as for installing a less capacity than 3000 it can result on a battery explosion during charging since the kernel will think its a 3000 batter and keep charging it even though it will be full
I have the S7 Edge and love it, and do not want to replace it. However I wanted to upgrade the battery to a higher capacity 4500 mAh or more if possible. I got a battery that claimed to be 4500 from a Chinese firm on AliExpress but it was rubbish! Is there a higher capacity battery that will fit in the S7 space and work?
