Hi all devs!
I see many topics about porting SystemUI colors from new devices: white-blue, light-blue, ArcticUI etc... But nothing about old Samsung's color scheme, that was used on early builds of TouchWiz.
That I'm talking about (see attachment).
This is stock dark-blue color scheme was used on previous version of TW. With AMOLED screen it was prefect to use.
Is where some one, who can create SystemUI with "old colors" and made flashable zip for Stock Lollipop 5.0.1?
As the title says: would support for official android touchwiz be added in the future or it's impossible? It's pretty bad that the S5 Neo got Nougat with the new Samsung Experience UI and the original flagship is stuck on the old UI on Marshmallow :/ Also, if I flash a custom ROM ported from the S8/Note 8 would Substratum work then? Thanks in advance!

No the substratum does not have support for Samsung devices even if you put a Samsung based custom rom (in your case s8 port) it won't happen...you would need something more AOSP like lineage os kinda stuff
i downloaded substratum and andromeda but any theme i download doesnt get applied even after a reboot. any fixes?
i also downloaded swift light theme. but there is no version available for my device. Im running Oreo on S8, but there's no option for that. suggestions?
Some devs said the substratum isn't support for samsung devices or no aosp devices

Device is rooted but I'm running Substratum rootless with Andromeda.
I've tried three different themes, none got applied to any app. Each time I built and enabled the theme, then rebooted the device.

After failing a few times, a few reboots later, the themes got applied as expected. I have no idea what fixed it.

I've been using xtrestolite last version. It has been the best for me so far.
MIPA S8+ for me.
Offers all sorts of mods out of the box, like using vol buttons for track changing, changing AOD settings like brightness, lockscreen mods, status bar and notification panel mods, etc.
Tried practically all of these. Didn't satisfy me as much.
To be fair, I didn't yet try LightROM as it doesn't really seem to have anything better, or more, or different. Light? I guess. Frankenstein is just as light as far as I'm aware, but whatever. Will give it a go eventually, though.

I've also used light rom NFE but payment method don't work there, no problem with payment in floyd rom
