Will the Pixel 2 USB-C to 3.5mm Adapter Work on Le Pro 3? - LeEco Le Pro3 Accessories

Hi all,
Does anyone know whether the USB-C to 3.5mm adapter from the Pixel 2 will work ok on the Le Pro 3? The Pixel 2 dongle is digital which has a DAC built-in.
Thanks!

I finally had a chance to test a Pixel 2 adapter with my Le Pro 3. It does work very well. The rewind, fast-forword and Play/pause buttons also work perfectly on my Bose headphones.

Yeah, unfortunately the other way around does not work the leeco dongle is much more secure.

Pixel Audio Dongle on Samsung S8+

Hi guys,
I am trying to use Pixel headphone dongle on S8+ and for some reason it doesn't work. Before you ask why (because S8+ has a headphone jack), Pixel dongle is a semi-decent DAC with the better output than what comes out of S8+'s headphone jack.
I also have Dragonfly Black external DAC and that one works just fine. I noticed on Pixel dongle, that I can control the playlist (play/pause) with the headphone button, but no sound is coming out. No idea why, all the other phones we can in the house (some dating 2-3 years back) work with the dongle.
Thanks...

Official Google USB-C to 3.5 adapter

This adapter is breaking audio on my Mix 2. Anyone else tried one and had the same issue?
It breaks audio and then videos stutter/play extremely slow.

I'm not totally sure if this might be the cause but the Mix 2 has an actual USB-C DAC I believe...and maybe that's conflicting with the Pixel 2 dongle's built-in one? The Mix 2 and the Pixel 2 have different setups for audio and the Pixel 2 requires a DAC or headphone amp or whatever in the accessory itself whereas the Mi Mix 2 has this hardware built in to the phone...so lots of headsets/accessories which work with the Mix 2 for audio won't work with the Pixel 2 (and vice versa perhaps?) But yeah maybe the Mix 2's hardware is not playing nice with the DAC in Google's dongle...not sure though...this is just a conjecture.

That is what I thought too. I have an Vernee Apollo Lite that doesn't have a DAC for the USB-C and that works fine (it actually sounds better than through the 3.5mm jack on the Vernee). I am really surprised Google decided on no in-built DAC.
I got the Google adapter and it works with mix 2 no problem.
I can confirm the Official Google adapter works. I tried the one that came with my boss' Pixel 2 XL so I know it was genuine. Worked with viper4android on both Epic global based ROM and XenonHD ROM. The hardware definitely works, seemingly without issue. What I don't know is if the adapter was just passing the audio through or using the dac in the dongle.

Question S21+ recognize USB-C headset but no audio is coming?

I have Asus TUF Gaming H3 wireless headphones. They are connecting via USB-C dongle.
Headphones works just fine on PC, Galaxy A52, Huawei Mate 10 Pro. I will try to test them on few other devices.
My S21+ recognize them, headphones recognize that dongle is connected but no audio is coming.
Is that some software issue, hardware issue or just compatibility?
Thanks
S21 series doesnt have a dac so if the dongle has a dac inbuilt, then only the headphones will work.

Hi mehra1, thank you very much for your answer.
Interesting is, that my old Huawei USB-C headphones that came with Huawei Mate 10 Pro works perfectly with S21.
So basically, I will need USB-C to USB-C adapter with DAC? Does such adapter even exist?

I have bought myself from India Amazon site for 800 ruppes. You just need to check if that has dac or not, it will be mentioned.

Question What USB type C to 3.5 Jack earphone adapters work with Xiaoxin pad pro / P11 Pro 2020 TB-J706F ?

Hi, I just recently bought a P11 pro 2020 and I'm very pleased with it.
The tablet came with a USB-C adapter to 3.5mm Jack headphone adapter that works perfect but I would like to have a spare one.
So far I have bought 2 cables that doesn't work, who knows what brand and type works with this tablet?
The brands/types I bought are;
Vention model BGJHA, without DAC chip advertised to work with Xiaomi/Huawei/Honor/Smartisan Nut/Oneplus **dont work with Xiaoxin pad pro 2020**
Blitzwolf BW-AA2, I believe with DAC chip advertised to work with Samsung Galaxy note/Google pixel/Ipad pro 2020 **dont work with Xiaoxin pad pro 2020**
Greetings!
Wow I didn't know this was a thing. I've used about 4 different ones. All with no issues
Have had NO luck with any adapters that I've tried. Just got a USB-C to HDMI adapter yesterday it fails too. I know one thing, I'll never buy another tablet unless it has a 3.5 jack on it. Damn this crap.

Nameless generic unfortunately
Ok, hope somebody else rings in with the golden tip.
My thoughts were that you can choose adapters with and without DAC chip but it seems there is more to it.
Trough I don't know for sure if the Blitzwolf adapter has a DAC chip.
Only when plugging in the original adapter I see in the USB settings menu that it is connecting, even with no headphones or headset plugged in.
I will try and order a Vention adapter with confirmed DAC chip and report back.
Just got the audio adapter in and it works! Headphones work and when plugging in a headset the tablet shows the headset symbol.
It is the Vention model BGMHA with DAC chip, advertised to work with Ipad pro, Samsung Note 10, Macbook etc.
Samsung USB C headphones adapter is recommended.
It supports up to 24bit/96kHz (32bit/192kHz for Motorola phone) with Poweramp
Pro 2020 do not required adapter with sound chipset integrated, obviously you can use any adapter without any issue
- Base us C to 3.5 adapter
- Xiaomi C to 3.5 adapter

It works best with Moto phones, but it works pretty good with P11+ as well

Question Does anyone still have an issue with using a DAC with the USB-C adapter?

I have the latest update on the phone and thought the issue was already resolved since last month. I'm using a schiit stack and from time to time I get the screeching noise.
I couldn't get the apple USB dongle to work.
I ended up buying the official Google one and that works for me.
USB out to my car stereo (Kenwood) doesn't work for me. It's an older unit.
Pixel 6a works flawlessly with my DAC (Loxjie D30).
Btw. I think it's really nice of Google to provide a USB-C to USB-A female adapter with the phone.
pixel 6a works nicely with the ugreen dac adapter from amazon, and I havent done any kind of update yet since I opened it.
My Pixel 6a works fin with a Meridian Exolorer2 USB DAC via a C to A adapter, and also works fine with my HiFiMan Deva Pro via USB C to the Blue Mini R2R DAC.
