AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Ok, thanx.I was actually hoping I was missing something

I am testing this rom on my Truly Unlocked Moto E4 and I have Sprint and applied the LTE fix and after like 2 dozen reboots I now have LTE but I notice Youtube does not show video.
Also I hope this rom continues as it is really nice to have on my Moto E4.

You are a machine for this device, can't wait to flash this...mad props and thanks to you.

Other than having to add my apn (MetroPCS) it's been smooth sailing, only hitch is that Safteynet comes back with an API error, but seems to work anyway...I'll report any other little sniggles that pop up if they do.
Thanks again.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong....
Going from rooted stock. (lollipop). OG Shield without OTA update to Marshmallow.
1) backed up
2) unlocked bootloader
3) TWRP 3.0.2.0-2 installed and working fine.
4) did not choose read only to /system
5) wiped and even formatted (but it doesn't seem to look like that sticked when I browse via the recovery)
6) Installed aicp's image
7) installed google play
8) rebooted, just get the nvidia screen.
When I go back into the tablet and mount via my PC, it shows that there wasn't anything installed.
Help!
Thanks

That's the culprit. You need the MM bootloader!
Does this ROM work with LTE?
Very stable so far. Using as daily drivers for three days. No random reboots like recent RR/Bliss builds. Great work.
Potential bug? Lock screen font goes crazy big at times.
I've gotta say this! Switched from Stock to this and man, oh man it's fast! So far I haven't gotten any lag, Stock was lagging too much for me after the tablet was "sleeping" for a while and the RAM management is not so great in Stock. (OTA 1.3). I think this one is even faster than Ressurection Remix!
Unfortunately, I'm getting Youtube lags, the video stutters even at 480p. I've attached a logcat, not sure if it helps. For some reason, Youtube is using the omx.google.h264.decoder, shouldn't it be using the nvidia one?

I asked one of the other custom ROM devs to check this for me and it looks like a more widespread problem. At least here and Carbon. I can't check CM atm, but I expect every recent custom ROM to have the same issue since they're all based from the same place. I'll do some looking when I get the time, but that might be a few day unfortunately.

- You tell...
[/COLOR]
ROMs should contain everything you need to enjoy Marshmallow. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, Google Apps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Install latest TWRP/CWM/Philz recovery on your device.
Make a backup of your current ROM.
Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik.
Flash ROM.zip and Googleapps.zip.
Reboot system and setup!
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed!
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.

No problem here.
Camera and battery icon are upstream CM issues. CM14 is still very much a work in progress. Legacy camera support is still being hashed out. I have a patch that together with some repopicks will get something out of the camera, but not recording or anything useful. I asked about the battery icon once, but never got a response. I presume it's a known issue. Another issue with shieldtablet specifically is lack of widevine support currently, so no Netflix and such yet.
Side note: The title states this is 7.0, but the various descriptions reference M/6.0.
3 random reboots now very hot plug and play hotspot takes a while to connect few bugs dev other than that niceee!!!??
Nice ROM, smooth and fast. Bugs: camera not working, live display not working. I don't think it's a bug, maybe it can enabled somewhere, but I cannot open second window choose screen by holding recents button.
Not sure if it's a bug or not, but I can't play WMV videos while using any Custom ROM using HW decoder in MX Player nor in Gallery. Stock does play them though...
Great job! Everything that I need to work is working except my microphone. Thanks for your hard work.

Hi, great job so far!
Two things I didn't figured out yet :
Keyboard switcher / sector notification missing.; it's hard to switch keyboard.
Supersu, su binary update causes boot loop
performance manager not working. Icons don't seeing to
im getting insufficient storage space calculations when i install opena gapps full stock package.
i came from original stock firmware 4.3 and just flashed the aicp ver 12 rom and gapps as instructed. am i missing something? thanks,
Flashed latest nightly still rebooting it's self uninstalled it not a daily driver yet but thanks AICP team y'all awesome!!
i am now able to install it properly UI experience reminds me of Android N custom roms for my nexus 4
just wondering if there is a way to integrate the Nvidia System Apps to this rom? I still would like to make use of the HDMI, Controllers, and Stylus.
Awesome rom. keep up looking forward to your innovation

Took me a while to find it. Keyboard switching in 7 is different. Look for either a keyboard icon in the lower right corner, or press and hold the space bar.
Sorry am I the only one that's getting random reboots???

yeah please tell me if you find any. I tested it for 1-2 days and didn't find a bug i hope you don't neither heh
Well, installed the rom. Its so freakin fast and smooth. Tested also some basic stuff. Bugs i found for now:
- GPS doesn't work
- Changing to video in the Camera makes app FC
- App side bar is buggy
- Custom header image doesn't work
- Also aren't animations too fast? 1x animations looks like 0,5x
