LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Ability to use some arm64 only apps. Performance improvement is marginal. Battery seems better

Build #4 added

Build 4 is awesome. Performance is great. Getting solid 40fps in bulletforce, even in sticky situations. Boot lag is gone.

is 7.1.2 update live for stylo 2 plus t mobile?
i did root my phone etc, noticed there was an update but pretty sure it's not an upgrade to the new firmware. Anyone confirm before i revert my root.

For all of those people who multitask and notice RAM drops, first off: don't join the GC or you'll get shot ? secondly, after using all ROMs and experimenting, USE LSPEED. These ROMs aren't made with optimization because they're unofficial, but LSpeed set to multitask will completely fix that but don't go haywire since you still only have 2 gigs of RAM.

Good suggestion with the LSPEED thing and as for the group chat, we're all supportive and helpful, just don't be a fcking idiot or an immature little kid or just generally an ashole like Daniel aka "savagevegeta" here and you'll be fine

Well, that IS me and I UNDERSTAND I was an asshole, I'm just here to suggest to the people who experienced lag to use L-Speed because it helped completely. I AM Daniel, and I did hate what you guys do to people who bug report or suggest ROMs be free and not forced donation, but I'll still support at least a little just so people can experience what a ROM is supposed to feel like, everyone alike. Excuse the rudeness from before, and I hope Messi is reading this as well because it goes to him, too, and hopefully L-Speed will help him discover something

It's the way that you acted and how you reported the bugs and such. These ROMs take a lot of work to make, especially for Messi to sit there for hours upon hours and make it happen. A working Oreo build will take some time, maybe even longer. No donation is forced either, you have all these new builds for free. It is just going to take maybe a lot more to make something like Oreo work completely since it's really broken right now. It's like, wouldn't you want something in return other than appreciation and support for such hard work? Especially if you had to sit there for countless hours for free for something like a new ROM, that is going to take a lot of work to fix, for a device you don't even use as a daily driver. Hopefully you can understand that.

Yes, I do understand, but no, I wouldn't want anything in return because this should be for fun, not if it stresses you. It's cool he's working on them, I respect that now. He just isn't forced and shouldn't expect anything in return because this is supposed to be for fun and to give to the community. But I understand your point and I'll let you be.

Very Nice Rom!!!! Will flash this rom again after using AOKP 64bit for a bit. Thank you very much to the Developer!!!!

Audio problems?
Anybody else having any audio problems? Imon build 4 and the microphone and headset gain seems really high and when I'm on a call and I tried to lower the volume it's adjusts the Bluetooth volume instead. Manually changing it with the system software has no effect and manually changing it with a third party app works temporarily. Is this a bug or just me?

[ROM][DISCONTINUED][NOUGAT] /e/ for Perry/Sperry

/e/
I normally have all my Moto E4 Perry roms over on AndroidForums but I figured since I did /e/ for the G4 Play on here I'd send this one here too.
As always, you take responsibility for what you do to your phone. Don't go filing civil lawsuits against me if your alarm fails to get you up for work in the morning.
The Hell's An /e/?
"/e/ is a non-profit project, in the public interest. We build open-source mobile operating systems that respect users’ data privacy. We’re an international core team of experienced entrepreneurs, developers and designers, and a growing community of contributors." --taken from their website.
Basically think Lineage AOSP but instead of just leaving gapps out of it, they're trying to take it a step further and really give Google the finger. Their ultimate goal for the future is to make a mobile OS featuring an entire /e/cosystem that respects users' privacy and avoids the "big-companies-that-sell-your-data". They will have alternatives to the most popular Google services baked in: F-Droid instead of Google Play, something like Telegram instead of Google Hangouts, BlissLauncher instead of a proprietary Google launcher, etc. As of the time I'm writing this message this is still really early on in the /e/ project though, so don't expect too much just yet.
What Works?
Everything works as of now it seems, thank /e/sus and /e/joice
I got some /e/ themed apps included too like Telegram, Signal, OpenCamera, their custom BlissLauncher, their custom Torch, and a few others I can't remember
Note that encryption does in fact work on this ROM but it's spotty. If you really want it to work you have to IMMEDIATELY go to settings, set your password, and plug the thing in and initiate the encryption process before doing anything else. To me it seems like the longer you wait around or the more other-things you do, the greater your chances of having a failed encryption and needing to factory reset.
What Don't Work?
Package installer is a hit or miss now for some reason
Where's My Source Code, and How'd You Build this?
Don't worry, this took me forever to find too. I used the 0.1 branch which is Lineage 14.1 based. 0.2 is 15.1 Oreo based. Here is the roomservice I used to get this working. All the trees I used for this came from Github user JasonM45 who's also "Jason M." on here (but it wont let me mention his username properly for some reason)
To get the custom /e/ apps in your build you have to edit the portion of vendor/cm/config/common.mk that talks about "Custom CM Packages". Go to /prebuilts/prebuiltapks for a list of folders' names you can add to this list. Note that not everything will add properly, and adding some things may mess up your ROM, so experiment at your own risk.
Where's My Download Link?

Who Should You Give a Special Thanks To?
The /e/ team (including but not limited to Gael Duval)
All the boys in the E4 telegram group I'm in, a small but surprisingly strong community
@bcrichster for showing me how to get the /e/ apps to build with the ROM on this thing so I don't have to steal from AOSP anymore
@Jason M. for his fixed trees for the E4, mad props for actually figuring out the audio and Sprint LTE problems with this thing so that we can actually make new, recent nougat ROMs for this thing
@SeanStar for the Moto E4 Plus CDMA LTE fixes that Jasonm took and ported here. Don't think I forgot about you, sean
Thank you for the new ROM!
It's good to see a new ROM is getting developed on this one. And that's one of the reason I still have this E4 ^_^
I will definitely check this out once I get home.

As the download link is now dead, and the GitHub user JasonM45 account unreachable, I am going to try my hand at rebuilding the rom using the same repositories from GitHub user moto8937.
Will post any results.

I just came across your message today. I wish you the best of luck, because JasonM45's sources were the best for this device and had the most fixes. If that doesn't work I think there was a github user called amarc78 or something that also had good trees, if you want check those out too. Just replace everything in my roomservice that's JasonM45 to amarc78. If you need any further help let me know, but it's been years since I built for this phone so keep that in mind too
To give some context I think I dropped /e/ because I found out about some practices that the devs did that I didn't like. But that being said, I don't want to stop anyone else from building it if they so wish so if you do try and get it successful again I'll link you in the OP as the new download link
On top of that, I don't know if Nougat is even still supported so just be aware of that. AOSP iself might have dropped Nougat support last year if I remember correctly

Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.

Alert slider is configurable (see attached picture). The display is running in QHD at 90Hz all the time, however I havn't experienced that to be much impact on the battery life (also check the attached pictures here on my typical battery life).

there is a very short flash upon touching the sensor which however doesnt last as long as the unlocking process as dimming is kicking in there. Given everyone is using the same implementation for the fingerprint sensor the TLDR answer would probably be "yes, it is".
Are the speakers more quiet then stock like other AOSP ROMs?
I can not find features. Navigation gestures are there ? Thanks dev for new rom
Tested for an hour
Here's some pics..
Some quick observation
1. No Oxygen gesture navigation option like most other roms offer.
2. No any kind Oxygen features like Dolby atmos or off screen gesture, panel modes, display modes,dc-dimming etc.
3.fingerprint reader is quick and reliable, but flashes issue appear just like most others roms.
4.Ambient display or AOD working fine.
5.Found some minor issues with some substratum theme that refused to be applied and didn't corporate well with rom.
6. If you are looking for tone of customization option this rom is not for you.

As for gestures, see below
5. That's weird. Mind naming the theme so I can look into it?
P.S. You can use the builtin theme Chooser in Settings -> Display too.
6. "ton of customizations is not our aim. Theres plenty of "lets add every feature we can find" kind of ROMs, Carbon is not one of them. We focus on being a performance oriented ROM with just the features you need and would expect in a stock ROM.

AOSP Navigation Gestures are working just fine. I think you mean the OP gestures.
We've been working on OP Gestures for a while (and TBH I kinda forgot about them at some point). The reason they are not included is that the implementations that are being used by ROMs out there all feel a little unpolished and/or have some kind of bugs. We wanted to fix that before merging but just never got around to do that just yet. Maybe in the future. Maybe not. I'm aware its one of the most demanded features right now though.

Google Product Sans Light. The ftf can be found with a Google search and you can use it in the ROM by creating a custom font package on https://fonts.carbonrom.org followed by choosing the font in the builtin font chooser.

Good to know. I went ahead and checked the Havoc sources and discovered that they were using the older OmniROM FOD implementation. Up until 3 days ago. So the question we're left with is: Is your statement still valid on builds younger than the 25th of August. If thats the case please let me know and I'll gladly look further into it.

You tell me!
DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab dmesg . (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

Flashed today the 26th Nov build.
Used for about 2h, no major issues so far (I cannot change clock position is the major problem for now). Geekbench 5 reports 341 single and 1598 multi. I'll try to daily drive it from today

Hello! I'm here after 2 days of usage. Pretty stable ROM and for it's initial stage seems very good.
Spoiler: TL;DR of my experience if you're lazy
It's usable as daily driver, but can be better. Battery is good (for Mi A2 standards). No major problems, sometimes a little bit too slow. No problems with Bluetooth, GPS or 4G/WiFi.
With this post I'm trying to tell you about two "minor-major" problems I found in this build.
Some details about phone and build I'm having:
Model: Mi A2 (jasmine_sprout). Not converted 6X. Never replaced, never opened.ROM: DerpFest, clean flashed (formatted everything). 26th Nov Build (SD1A.210814.036.A8)ROOT: Yes, Magisk (with Zygisk)Bootloader: unlockedRecovery: TWRP 3.3.1-0Mods & others: Nova Launcher (I hate google bottom bar not being removable). For the rest I have a clean "Derp Android 12 UX". I just flashed the ROM, TWRP, Magisk and DISABLE_DM_VERITY.Main Language: Italian
But now for the problems.
1. Nuclear Power Plant Syndrome
Named like this because of the insane reported amount of mA and W on the lock screen when charging. Don't know what is causing it. I attach also a logcat (logcat_nuclear_power_plant.txt) before putting in charge and when charging, maybe it will help. When rebooted it shows correct values for like 10 seconds, switching again to Nucler Power Plant immediatly after.
Spoiler: Screenshots
2. Big cores "not working" (?) [see also EDIT on 10th DEC]
My big cores are all always at 1113Mhz and at 0% of use. They jump only for 1-5 seconds to 2208Mhz when opening an app, but then immediatly stops. This is very noticeable when opening SmartPack Kernel Manager. The cores are "sleeping" or they are not reported correctly. But doing things like recording screen and having SmartPack open caused a big slowdown of entire system. Also, when using heavier apps, like Coinbase that were very slow to open (even with my previous LOS 18.1) now are even slower (sometimes 40-50 seconds to load everything).
Spoiler: Proof of concept
EDIT 10th Dec
I partially solved the problem restoring all settings on SmartPack Kernel Manager, uninstalling it and then rebooting the phone. I'm not telling this is the solution, but maybe is correlated. Is not "as before", but much better.
Then, there are some problems that appeared in this two days, but was not able to reproduce them again. Just marking them out.
Clock not being set on CENTER or RIGHT: it just disappeared when set to things others than "left". It happened just when I installed the ROM and immediatly went to settings. When I wanted to customize clock position it won't change. I tried to do this again and again but after a reboot it seems to working properly.
Something crashed at first start. It was called "System Audio Synthetizer" or "Android Audio System" something like that. Never appeared again
One time when turning on GPS, the UI crashed and all screen turn black. After 5 seconds the phone restarted the UI and everything worked. No reboot, just UI restart. I was not logcat-ing in that time, so I have no proof for this, other than my experience.
The phone sometimes takes time to load emojis, like on Telegram. Maybe related to "Big Cores not Working"?
I'll continue to monitor the situation. If you need details or wanna teach me how to catch more info about problems, let me know: this is the first time I'm doing something like this and I have no experience on doing this.

latest build DerpFest-12-Official-Shion-jasmine_sprout-20220213-1252.zip after flashing gets stuck at boot logo .
Great rom is really fluid and smooth but am I the only one that have problem with mic gain?
I'm on the latest build (20220213) and everybody complains that my whatsapp voice notes are an incredibly low volume. In other roms I was able to boost the mic gain in xiaomi parts but we don't have it here. Would it be possible to add? (I would love to avoid rooting just to use a kernel manager). Thanks and great work <3
i have installed this rom as well as pixelplusui... in both rom i am not able to use wifi calling... wificalling is turned on but not able to use it... pplease help somebody
Please do something about continuously dropping performance
Each update makes it better but still . But it's still not good as compared to other Android 12 custom.
In the section of features is the best ROM now but can't say the same for performance
What are your plans for updates. Most of the others have dropped the updation support.

We are very excited to announce the alpha of Paranoid Android Sapphire, based on Android 12.
On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app from the PlayStore.
Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

We kindly ask all of you that are in position to donate anything, to help and support us so we can provide better and faster build releases, as well as increase the download speed of our servers, all looking for your enjoyment.

Device-specific issues
You tell me.
There are likely many other issues, these are just the most prominent to me. Don't come into this with the expectation any issue you come across will be fixed in a timely manner.
Requirements
Make sure you are on 12.0.4 firmware before flashing. 12.5 and up is generally not recommended for any roms
Download
You can always get our Alpha builds from our Telegram Releases Channel (requires registration on telegram) or directly download them from here: POCO X3 Pro Download
Note: Custom kernels are NOT supported unless the kernel supports PA and GMS is included!

Is this riced build. The previous one was not riced right.
Banking apps claiming that the device is rooted, but it's not. (and it's not related to unlocked bootloader either because i never encountered it on any other ROM previously)
It's passing SafetyNet homever, weird.

Same problem. Don't wanna use magisk. Fortnite refuses to load.
Devs reply in his telegram channel-
Foxtrot47 | Updates
Apps detecting root (without installing magisk obv) is likely due to build being Userdebug i didn't build user purposefully cuz some games like GRID was crashing on it. Will debug it and see

Thank you
is there a chance for a full translation into Polish? there is a lot of text in the settings not translated into Polish. It's a pity, because the rom at the moment is definitely the best and runs very smoothly.

This rom has support for OTA updates. If you plan to stick around with PA, your feedback will be appreciated on our new OTA system. We're consistently testing full and incremental OTA updates.
Key Features
- Face unlock support
- A slew of Pixel exclusive features
I think your link goes to the Pixel 6 Pro (raven) page. While I'm running my unofficial LOS builds on a 7 (panther) and probably won't flash AOSPA, I don't see Pixel 7/7 Pro builds on your site.
Yeah the link does go to raven builds and no PANTAH is showing as available at all on your website yet. I have just noticed the builds are available on Telegram though
Fixed, the website didn't get updated until the threads were posted
thanks for sharing
Wow! Many thanks to the team. I'm going to test
Been a really really really long time since I've used Paranoid Android, might've been the Nexus 6P days, so I'll definitely give this a shot shortly.
Edit: So far, everything just works. 1080p is janky with the fingerprint sensor, so turn your display to 1440p and it'll work fine. Apart from that, yeah. Everything just works really. Nothing really stands out or is anything like when they first rebranded, but it's also a first release. Just clean and polished.
For those not sure how to flash, I used the fastboot version, flashed stock, booted into bootloader, fastboot update aospa-topaz-beta-1-cheetah-20221119-image.zip and it'll handle the rest.
Is calling and 5g support working?

We have a few pretty cool things like Face unlock and full fledged OTA support atm but we're more focused on establishing the basic necessities for now, but we do have some innovative stuff in the pipeline, just takes time to work on. Glad everything is working for you (ill probably make 1440p the default until i sort out whatever that is with fp in 1080p).
Hello PA allow 32 bit app ?
can you please provide more info on features? how is it different from the stock rom?
Awesome!! If possible can we get DC Dimming on the Pixel 7 Pro?
