Introduction:
What is AOKP ?
AOKP stands for Android Open Kang Project. It is a custom ROM distribution for several high-end Android devices. The name is a play on the word kang and AOSP (Android Open Source Project). The name was sort of a joke, but it just stuck, just like our infatuation with unicorns.
We fork the source code of Android that Google puts out in the open with every major version release, and we then add the magical unicorn bytes (read: we add some of the coolest features that are both useful and make your ROM awesome).
With AOKP, you can generally do a lot more with your device than what you could do with the original firmware that came installed on it.

FAQ:
1.) What to do if My Phone got bootloop or not booting ??
You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:
3.) What to do if my SafetyNet is not passed ??
Update Magisk to latest beta version, tick Magisk Hide and enable usb debugging...

In my honor 6X camera doesn't work.. How fix this?

@HassanMirza01 Bro... When I install any rom for you such as Slimrom or omnirom or Los 14.1 the camera app is gone and the torch isn't work
But when I open settings ==> Apps
The camera app is there
What the problem??
I do every things correctly
I have stock vendor and format the data partition to ext4
I need solution
Please help me Bro

Wow.. awesome. My favourite ROM. This and RR, in general, are my favourite and are neck to neck, aokp more stable and equal or more battery but RR leads in terms of customisation. I am not comparing these ROM for honor 6X but in general based on my earlier experience on honor 5X.
Great work guys.. thanks a bunch.
Edit- CrDroid as well to the list.

Better either restore the twrp or use dload for stock and then try this rom. Messing around with files may create more issues than fixing it

Smoothness of Stock ROM with greatness of Substratum Themes

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps.
Anyway to get a working system I added some changes from CodeAurora Forum and CyanogenMod. I added also non-AOSP features for a better user experience ("Clear All" button in Recents) and I'm NOT going to add something other.
What is OMS?
OMS (Overlay Manager Service) which was designed by google and its modded by our developers to include it into AOSP ROMs.In short,OMS is a Theme Engine replacement and it can do wonders!

Yeah. Danke. ? Do you have xposed to work ?
I had completely forgotten that there's no Xposed for Nougat yet... oh well, it's only a minor downgrade to the situation I had a few days ago (I only rooted and installed Xposed two days ago...).
Downloading and backing up stuff as we speak. Will report on how awesome this is, later.
Great work and many thanks!

No, flashify or twrp, which can flash IMG, is enough.
Beautiful work, MAD! Thank you very much! I saw that you made some kernel changes. Is there a chance that fast charge is gonna be implemented in the future again?
but can i use flashtools if i want or it s necessary flashify?
twrp recovery can flash another twrp recovery? mmm twrp recovery can flash only zip files...

Everything is good and working well. But there is not root access even after flashing SuperSU. In developer options there is only adb root access. Also Xposed framework will work on this?
---------- Post added at 04:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:11 AM ----------
Flashed su addon now developer options showing option to enable root access to apps and adb but still no root access.
---------- Post added at 05:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:58 AM ----------
Found temporary solution. After flasing su add-on select root access to apps and adb then reboot the device. Now go to SuperSU app settings and change default access to grant now apps will detect root.
Volte supported on this rom?
Is this rom supports volte
Are there any ril issues? Last time my sims didnt work even after doing the buildprop edit.
Don't know 4g working fine. I'm using idea
Not booting up
I am stuck at bootloop since yesterday night, so i reverted back to stock. Followed the OP instructions but still no luck. I am coming from stock BLN-L22C675B340.
Edit:
Finally booted up after formatting data. Jio Volte partially working, but not usable. Can't pick up or make calls.
bugs list: few networks not detecting and lte signal shows only two bars and automatically change to 3g even lte selected.
my 600 rps Panasonic headphones not detecting some cheap 150rps headphones got detected.
some ussds not showing.
going back to elite v7 can't use phone without headphones.

First time installing crDroid to your OnePlus 3/3T, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running the latest TWRP Recovery
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
5) Flash gapps
6) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk 21.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

Check Luis builds. Right now he is still updating Android 10 builds. But if you'll switch from Official a clean flash is recommended.

Does Android Auto works on this? I mean also in the car display, not just on phone.
Hello. Been using this for 2 days. No issues except maybe screen cast and I can't disable backlight on 'buttons'. Can someone help me? Thank you very much!

Casting is a known issue. Will be fixed when it's fixed in LineageOS.
You can disable backlight in the physical navigation buttons I assume you're asking by going to..
Settings -> crDroid Settings -> Buttons Menu -> Disable HW keys
It disable the backlight and the buttons itself.

But how to disable the button's backlight without disable the buttons itself?
Yes. I wish I can disable it without disabling the function of the buttons.

Thanks for the great update release. I'm missing two things.
- long screenshot option
- option to disable hardware button backlight, when using hardware buttons
Thank you for your amasing rom, encryption works, signature spoofing (for microg) as well.
Perfect Everything I need.
Have flashed CR last night. Installation was flawless.
So far I'm pretty satisfied with this one.
No FC's, bugs or glitches, so far.
The only minor things that I've found is the inability to change the number of tiles of quick settings. And the sensitivity of return button (on long press, to kill the app) seems a bit high (sometimes I just wanna go back and it kills the app, almost instantly).
Anyway, I'm impressed how fluid it is, and with the battery management.
I have a few suggestions: data usage counter; a lte on/off toggle ; some themes options and more control of the lockscreen interface (like change the clock size, for example).
For now I don't remember more. But I will post it here if it come to my mind.
Excellent work @hhrokarvi . Thank you very much for your efforts to bring this excellent rom to our phones.
Sorry, double post (forum has given error on posting).

Alert slider systemui dialog is not there for me.
It would be nice also an option to disable hardware light when pressing the screen and hardware light timeout (see Lineage implementation).
Are there an option to adjust blur on power menù?
