lg q6 unloxk bootloader - LG Q6 Questions & Answers

Hi. I want to unlock the boot loader lg q6. But i dont have a lg developer account. Iam tried to create . but its not happening. .. and. There is no lg q6. In the unlock bootloader list in lg web site. .
I want to install resurrection remix rom.
Thanks in advance. Sorry. For my bad english

First what you need for installing RR is the ROM itself. I don't know if there is any unoficial or oficial ROM released for the Q6 because this is a really young phone (I'm telling 4-5 months old so...)
Secondly, the bootloader is still not unlocked as I know. Again, because this is a really young phone, don't expect that much. NO, I'M LYING! There's a thread of the TWRP unoficial version for the Q6. But it's just for the M700X, for the other versions I still don't. Have a really good search on the internet and you'll find something that will be useful. Believe me, maybe you'll find something on the internet and if there's no information, wait a couple of months and see if there's something that you need for installing the ROM. Right nos, you just need to find how to unlock the bootloader and that's it.
Thirdly, there's no point flashing the TWRP if you have a valid warranty. If you flash it, good luck not breaking the phone because you don't have the warranty.
And also, if you really like flashing ROMs and you're into messing the setting on your phone, learn on how to code and make ROMs and everything that you need to do to be an expert in everything in tech.
Good Luck!

Any news from unlock bootloader? Anyone have unlock or root this phone?

Unlock Bootloader...

Hey guys, im new to this forums so first of all, hello everybody.
so, i have this xperia l, and im not new to android devices, and i want to flash a kernel and a rom (more specificly, thunderzcap and ios7)
the problem is, i cant unlock my bootloader. In that screen after you type that weird combination of numbers in the dialer it says that i just cant do it (not allowed). I read it somewhere that i need my simlock code and something else, but according to what i know (and i dont want to believe t) this means it is permantly locked.
So anyone here knows how to solve it? I would defenitly love to unlock the bootloader so i can flash a kernel... or im stuck with my phone? i know there are other roms but it isnt the same thing...
Thanks in advance
If it's locked there is no going around it. So answer is no, if it says on the phone that bootloader is locked you can't unlock it. And there are NO roms that work with locked bootloader. For you to be able to flash a ROM on it you must have unlockable bootloader.
Sorry to give you bad news but that is way things are in your case.
Nothing you can do.................for now.
If we can get CWM going on the phone, we can flash packages. From there, if this can be extended to our phone, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2595238 then we can run CM variants on top of stock, and thus there is hope for the locked bootloader people, like myself, hopefully.

[Q] Confuse about Booloader & Rooting

Hey Guys, I decide to unlock the bootloader and root my Moto G so i start to read about it and preparing everything to do it in my pc (drivers, etc)
But when i start to read de Resource Guide Thread in the General forum i read something that confuse me specifically in the Root part that says:
"If you do not have or do not wish to unlock your bootloader then you can opt for @oasoas014 's method ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2583652 ) of bootloader downgrade. You may also visit @Cooptx's more detailed guide ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2585755 ) . Note, with the most recent recoveries, you do not need to downgrade your bootload"
But reading the @Cooptx's method says that need unlock bootloader, i really dont understand the @oasoas014 's method but reading all the comments says also that i need unlock bootloader.
So im kinda confuse here, is that im not reading well? or i just need to unlock it? someone can give me a strait answer?
You must unlock bootloader if you want root, there is not other solution for moto g atm. Maybe in future there will be an exploit to root bypassing bootloader like on moto x but not now.
Thanks you, the info is kinda confuse, im gonna put me in to work. Hope eveything goes well

It's not that much work and Motorola makes it really easy to unlock the bootloader If you still need some help or run into trouble let us know!
hey
i tried to unlock bootloader via motorola web site but it says my device does not qualify for unlocking
tried flashing recoveries, root zips and updated to official kitkat, but still does not work
phoned motorola support and they said motorola doesn't guarantee bootloaded getting unlocked, it depends on luck
any suggestion?

[Q] New to the Android world, i have afew questions for your

I'm totally new to the Android world and i spent many hours to read this forum to learn as much as possible about my device and what i can do with it. But now, i need your help on a few things.
KitKat vs Lollipop, does it make sense to upgrade to Lollipop now or should i wait? Is there any major know bugs?
Since that i only have a 8gb device, i would like to clean the apps as much as possible. There's many apps that i don't need but they can't be uninstalled. For example, all the Motorola apps (is there something that we really need from them?), a few google apps like Google+, Google Play Films, Hangouts, etc that i will never use.
I want a stable ROM that i don't need to patch every day to solves problems. When i read about CM12 for Moto G, i see people that have problems here and there and wait for the next daily build to give it a try. I don't want to play that game!
If i install a custom rom, i guest that future updates will not come from Motorola. How the updates work afterward?
It's ok if i must have my device rooted
I have read about stock lollipop optimized version by lost101 but it don't think that the versions currently available will work for me. I'm in Canada and the versions that i see is Brazil or Asia.
thank you for you help!
You have the xt1032? Is there any warranty left? If there is no warranty, I recommend unlocking the bootloader before doing anything. It is easier to restore a bricked phone if you have an unlocked bootloader.
If you intend to stay on stock, you need some of the Motorola apps in order to install OTA updates.
Well what I will say is. I'm in the uk using lost101s BR optimized and I'm very pleased with it.

The phone is new but i don't care about the warranty. I've read that i can unlock the bootloader with the Motorola tutorial. I must be honest, i'm a little bit lost. I don't fully understand the difference between "unlocking bootloader" and "phone rooted"!
and yes the model i have is XT1032

You must unlock boot loader first then flash a custom recovery (manually or there is a tool in the development section) then rooting next.
Unlocking the bootloader allows you to install non-Motorola software. With a locked bootloader, the only software that can be loaded on your phone would have to be digitally signed by Motorola.
Rooting gives you administrative access to the system files.
You may not need an unlocked bootloader to get root and you do not need root to unlock a bootloader.
Start here to get the bootloader unlock code: https://accounts.motorola.com/ssoau...ct/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-b
I tried to install TWRP (any version available) but it take like 1 minutes to show the home screen and im not able to "swipe to unlock". So i have installed Philz recovery and then installed lost101 Retail Brazil 5.0.2 Stock ROM (Optimized) v1.1a. I'm playing with it right now and so far so good.

Bootloader Unlock for Cricket Variant?

Ok, here's my story so far:
The first day that I got this phone, approximately two weeks ago, I rooted my phone, softbricked it, then flashed the KDZ and rooted again (all in 9 long hours of frustration and tears). Now I'm using the phone, everything is stable, and I'm having no problems.
Anyways, at this point, unlocking my bootloader is a must. All I want is to do that so I can flash TWRP and install Xposed framework.
Does anyone know of a way to unlock the bootloader on this phone? I've been told that you really can't, but I know that someone out there knows of a way. If not, I plan on finding away to do it myself.
I would like to know know well. I originally thought that rooting it unlocked the bootloader but I was wrong lol. Learning slowly but surely. I am trying to get xposed. So having a custom recovery would make that a lot easier. I am using the Cricket Variant LG Stylo H634 Lollipop 5.1.1

Well, it looks like we're running the same firmware on the same device, so maybe we can figure something out.
I think I may be able to make a custom recovery by extracting the stock recovery partition, building a custom recovery from that image, then signing it with the same signature used to sign the original image. Maybe this will work. Honestly, I'm not entirely sure, but you never know.
I'll contact a few developers to see if there's any way we can breathe life into this phone.

Please help, New to bootloader unlocking, Rooting and Custom Roms

Hey, I have a TMobile Moto One 5g Ace 128gb and I don't want to destroy this phone but it sucks being stuck in Android 10. I also don't want to be stuck with a custom ROM that doesn't have camera or flash light or some other issue between software and hardware. So I'm asking a professional the NOOB questions.... How do I unlock the bootloader..... How do I install the driver's.... How do I install twrp and root my phone..... And finally how do I install a custom ROM and what's the best one to install? Thank you

After unlocking the bootloader, there is a TWRP that will allow you to flash custom ROMs. It is flashed with fastboot.
You flash custom ROMs from TWRP. There is a Telegram channel with at least two developers of custom ROMs. I have tried Havoc and crDroid. Each has its advantages and fan boys. I am currently running a rooted stock Canadian retail ROM. It is more complicated to run rooted stock. Read the guides carefully and follow the instructions.
Some advice from someone who has unlocked and flashed many phones in the past.
Leave it alone. There is truly nothing to be gained.
