If you would like a rom for your model E4 (Qualcomm only), please provide me with an unmodified backup of your stock rom. I have all the firmwares I believe, and will start working on other models, but a backup would make it a lot quicker and easier for me. I will also need testers for them once they are built. Thanks in advance.

Couldn't install, getting error 7...
P.S.;installed after updating twrp to r3

Using Optimized Version:
Good News, the phone feels like new.
Bad News, the RSA fingerprint won't appear for some reason. (Tried to use easytether and now it just sits there connecting to nothing)
Any ideas?

I'm not sure about that, I don't have that problem. That's strange. Try flashing the patched kernel linked in the op. Flash the Magisk uninstaller, then that kernel and Magisk again and let me know if it changes anything.

Can't figure out what happened. But I'm just gonna sit and wait for now. Regular tethering isn't an issue rn.
(The method didn't work, but don't beat your head in plz)

Swapped to the Untouched version and RSA appeared the minute I plugged it into the PC. So imma try out the Debloated version tonight. Thank you for all your endeavors.

I believe the seperate kernel I posted is the same as the as the one in the debloated build, it should work fine flashing on the optimized build. I'll have to fix that optimized build. Not sure why it works for me and not you, but I'm sure it's something with the kernel

Thanks to amarc78 for the work. Debloated stock ROMs are best for CDMA carriers like Sprint & VZW. I'm hoping one for the unlocked retail variant (XT1768) will make its way soon. Looking forward to see the list expands.

If you can provide me with an untouched system backup that was taken after the the OS was booted at least once and the boot.img I can have a rom for you tomorrow. You'll have to test it for me.

Amarc, unfortunately my E4 is no longer "virgin," with MagiskSU installed along with some other bits.
Regardless, wouldn't it work to debloat/optimize ROMs from the depo?

Only if I flash the system sparse chunks, boot it and then make a backup. If the ROMs aren't made from a backup that has been booted they seem to not want to boot. I had already flashed all the other firmwares and made backups without booting once first, but every rom I made didn't boot. So I'll have to either do it all over or get backups from others.

[CM ROM [hlte/universal] OFFICIAL CyanogenMod Builds (Nightlies)

New thread for CyanogenMod builds (currently nightlies) for hlte devices. Previously, Note 3 (qualcomm devices) builds were separate, but now they are unified. So, hltespr, hltetmo, hltevzw, htlexx are now all in one build: hlte.
Download page can be found here: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=hlte.
FAQs (please read before asking any questions):
AlecRobertson said:
Does this build work on the 4.4 bootloader? Yes! It works on the 4.4.2 NA6/NA7/NB3 bootloaders.
Is this build stable? No. There will be issues (see known issues below)
Where can I get the latest recovery that is compatible with this ROM? http://d-h.st/users/xiaolu/?fld_id=31963. You can also use the latest version of TWRP.
Can I update OTA from an hltexx, etc. build to an hlte build? No.
Is there any advantage to upgrading to the 4.4 bootloader? No, not really, unless you call not being able to downgrade an advantage .
Can I downgrade from a 4.4 bootloader to a 4.3 bootloader. No (you can thank Samsung for that)! The only exception to this is if you have a Canadian variant of the Note 3. Then, you can downgrade
Can I install this on an Eyxnos device? No!
Which GApps should I use? I would recommend the Paranoid Android GApps. You can them from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2397942. If you want the Nexus experience, get the GOOGLE STOCK PACKAGE.

I know, today's changelog is not very useful. But "Tomorrow is another day"
Seems like date and time doesn't work on the 18/02/14 build except when synced with carrier, but it will lose the time data again after reboot.
Success on Rogers SM-N900W8 ...
Well, I took the plunge … once again … with surprising success.
Installation was quite simple on my Rogers (Canadian) SM-N900W8, so I would imagine that all Canadian variants will provide similar results.
Prior to installing the 20140218 unified (hlte) version of CM, I had stock Touchwiz installed, with TWRP 2.6.3.7 as my recovery.
I first performed a Nandroid (always suggested), and then simply flashed both CM and GAPPS through TWRP. Yes, you read the previous sentence correctly. I flashed right from my existing TWRP recovery.
Prior to flashing, I wiped System, Data, Dalvik and Cache, which I did twice (moderate OCD here); however, I did NOT touch Internal Storage.
So far, so good. The device booted very quickly, much more quickly than usual. I then entered all the initial set-up information, and arrived, quite smoothly, at the initial home screen. I then went into Settings and set-up virtually everything.
As I said above, so far, so good. Wifi works very well. LTE works, although, I had to manually go into the APN settings and select the pre-configured Rogers LTE APN. It took a few minutes, but LTE finally popped-up on the Notification Bar.
So, that's it. I'm now installing all my apps. I'll let you know how everything goes once they are all installed (about 100).
Good luck everyone.

Hey op just some advice. The main user page should be in general section for everyday talk of the builds.
The dev section should be problem solving and log cats.
Are you the maintainer as per cm or just another user making another thread here??
dont forget the thanks button if I helped out!!
Can anybody tell me if this build will appear as an update to those of us already running CM11 for hltexx? Currently no Stable or Nightly update is showing since the 20140130-NIGHTLY-hltexx build.

Thanks. The blog post earlier (http://www.cyanogenmod.org/blog/unified-builds) mentioned they would add server-side checks to present the unified build via CM Updater, but I wasn't sure if that really meant upgrading from hltexx to hlte unified builds.

The KK bootloader doesn't offer any benefit/new feature over the JB one, SS just changed it to give us a hard time with custom ROMs and prevent us from downgrading. All the bootloader does is to allow the device to... boot (!)
I like this new version, I haven't gotten the black screen of death yet, and things seem to run smoother (probably placebo), and the battery seems better

No, Knox is still good. It really shouldn't trip it because it doesn't mess with the bootloader at all.

I flashed a zip yesterday so I would think a properly made ROM would flash. I did try one yesterday but it didn't flash. I'm pretty sure it was a updater script error on my part. I haven't had the time to look into it further. As for our kernel we will have to use the stock one.

It's not going too good on my end. I'm sick of Odining back to stock. I must have done it about a dozen times after various failed mods. I'm pretty much calling it quits until a better recovery becomes available. FlashFire restore doesn't work for me so when a mistake is maid I have to go back to stock. Hopefully there will be some updates to make this more reliable. I'm OK with the few mods available and debloating for now.

Just out of curiosity are you trying to port roms already made for other devices? If so I would assume that the kernel on your locked phone cannot work with the system.img in the ported rom. What you could do is find a rom that is stock rooted only, no other mods or lightly modded and grab that script. From there download the verizon s6 system, extract it and add the su stuff then wrap all that in a zip. The permissions and symlinks should be close enough to get you booted and if it boots you can start working out all of the bugs
Sorry if you already tried all that, just want to help if I can.
*Edit*
Almost forgot Im sure you figured this out already but you would need to edit the boot out of the installer script
*Double edit*
Here is a non aroma rom for your installer script. He is planning on implementing aroma so you might want to grab it asap

misterxtc has helped me develop roms for the vzw s5 as well as his own roms. were not a+ devs by any means but we do have experience with it.. the rom created was im sure from his own build from the stock base rom for the vzw s6.
the vzw s5 also has a locked BL so we are very aware that you can only use roms compatible with the stock BL and kernel.. Flashfire does not appear to flash the BL or kernel at all but also cannot write the whole system without the kernel.
it has been tried multiple times by him and myself on my s6 edge and each time results in having to odin back to stock and start over.
We also both talked to hsbadr and his multisystem unfortunately does not work for us since we have no ext sd card.

I'm building from scratch with the stock tar. I did get one to boot but no luck deodexing it. I've got both aroma and kitchen ROMs to flash and boot but had some minor issues with superSU. I haven't had the mind to concentrate on much lately. We had to put down our 13 year old German Shepherd yesterday so I'm pretty tore up from that.

[Solved]Is there root for stock kernel on 6.0

I've been looking around, but I can't find anything to suggest root is available on the stock kernel. Does anyone know if there is? CF-Autoroot doesn't work for 6.0, and so far all I've found is root for custom kernels but I want all stock.

Thanks for the link, I already looked there and they said "This is a stock kernel which provides root access along with some tweaks". It has tweaks in it, so to me that's modified which isn't stock IMO. Sorry I'm just a fussy person, I've tried custom ROMs and the rest before, but they tend to just screw stuff up for me, even the highly favorable CyanogenMod ROMs, they used to make my phone a furnace at idle! So I like the clean (almost) bug-free, vanilla stock experience on my daily driver device.

You could try Chainfire's modded boot image alone (i.e. without another custom kernel).
Perhaps it more "stock" than others. I just followed his instructions (flashed the boot.img and flashed the beta SuperSU zip in TWRP) and I appear to have root on stock Marshmallow.

I'd say, just flash the boot.img from the factory image.
Code:
fastboot flash boot boot.img
If you rooted before, you'll lose root...

I'd recommend the same thing, and agreed, if you rooted using the method linked in this thread earlier, you definitely will lose root!

My understanding is that they've released the base code which now can be tailored to work on our device. I think that @jcadduono who adapted 3.0.1 for our device would have to do the same with this base.

That's right!
My honest guess is that they won't be having a official TWRP for us. It's not not that popular of a device unfortunately. I've had the official TWRP app installed from the play store for a while and our device isn't listed.
Best way to check is just DL official TWRP app and run it daily.
It be awesome to have a 3.1.0 but I don't need it to do anything more than what I do now!! ?

Lol true thing. I only do backups, restore, flash things (HECK YEAH)! , clean (dalvik, cache, system, data, internal storage), factory reset, and sometimes removing files from the file manager on TWRP. I don't know what else is there to be added. (Now it is true that sometimes twrp does crashes while installedomg a rom with AROMA installer. But it is nothing that cant be fix by pulling out the battery (thanks LG LOL) and putting it back again.
Besides what the current recovery does, what more do we need the recovery to do? I know there's new bells and whistles, but it works and it's stable for this variant. So, what else do we need?

It has some enhanced ADB functionality which may be helpful for Devs doing their thing (which in the end benefits us). Also has a better partition scheme for 7.1.1 which will benefit us if we ever get that update from LG. And while it's true we probably will never get the "official" support from TWRP now that the base code is available JCADDUNODO can create a 3.1.0 for us. That's what he did on 3.0.2.
It also allows for flashing ota zips too. This is a big deal, their biggest update in a while.

I’m having issues flashing any ROM within the TWRP

So to give more of the backstory I have an unlocked one +7 pro 5G that I flash the European firmware to and what I’m trying to do now is flash a custom ROM onto my 1+7 pro 5G. When I brought up TWRP any time I try to flash any ROM, whether it be lineage or something else I get that error saying that the ROM I selected failed and I exactly sure what’s causing that to happen.

I had problems with the flash from recovery with the version 3.4.0-0 of the twrp, using the version 3.3.1-79 the flash happens correctly...could this be the problem?

That might be the issue, I haven’t tried using a different TWRP version. Let me grab that particular version and see if I’m able to flash anything

I went ahead and tried flashing that particular version of TWRP, and then tried flashing the rom again and ran into the same issue.

What kind of file are you trying to install?
If it's not the same one you installed, try this twrp release
P.S. the images you share are not displayed

I would try a deep clean:
Complete reset with deletion of the internal storage
Stock firmware reinstallation via fastboot, here you find everything.
Unlock bootloader and root with latest magisk release and twrp 3.3.1-79
Installation of the crDroid rom
I have no other ideas also because I cannot see the images with the error that appears when you try the flash.

The kind of error seems to indicate problems accessing the system partition, as if root privileges are missing.
I believe that with deep clean it can be solved.

Stick with OOS... There's practically no ROM out there made to work with the 5G version of the the OP7Pro.
Only 4G version works with all ROMs , that's probably your issue.
A guy was trying to flash RR in his 5G not too long ago and he ran into issues too.
