Help me ! After flashing a modem, my P5100 doesn't show network

I've flashed modem.bin from Offical JB Rom via Odin, then my tab doesn't show network carrier but it has 4 bars of signal.
I tried flashing another modems and JB, ICS offical Rom but nothing happen. My Sim is still working well with another devices. So i think my tab has problem.
Does anyone have the ideal to solve my issue ??? Thanks You !!!

I downloaded the offical 4.1.1 Rom for my region ( Viet Nam) from Sam Mobile, then I get file modem.bin from this Rom. After that, I flash modem.bin via Odin ( on Odin I choose PHONE and browse to modem.bin > reboot. I got the new baseband is DXCLL2 ( my old baseband is XXLF2) but my network status is :
- Network : unknown
- Signal strength : -75dBm
- Network Type : EDGE
- Service state : Out of service
My IMEI is good, network lock is off...so I don't know what happening . I've tried flashing another modems, put another Sims, backing to 4.0.4 stock Rom and some custom Roms but it doesn't work

Umm... Does it ask for pin at the start? If not, then go to settings, Security, sim card, pin code, and change it. Change it to same one as last one.

Pls help us, I can't find any way to fix it

I'll try to help. I have a modem file for P5100 Indonesia region. I would pack it as ODIN flashable tar.md5.

Taken from P5100XXCLL2_P5100OLBCLL2_P5100DXCLL2_HOME.tar.md5. Unzip P5100DXCLL2_MODEM.tar.md5.zip and then flash using ODIN as PDA. Remember, as PDA!

Try manually select your network provider: Settings - More Settings - Mobile Networks - Network Operators.

Hi! Not registered to network would appoint that your sim is not supported, or your rom is not the right one. My P5100 has a problem that my partition table is fukd up. Only shows 1.97gb But yea. Have you tried any other sim in that tablet? Try to buy a prepaid sim. If that doesn't work, then try using the modem.bin file i upload later. It could be your sim.

Thanks you but I tried many ways inculed put 3 another working sims in my tab and it still no network ( the tab's sim is working well with another devices )...I'm confused and too tired by that f**king problem

...I can't find any ways to solved this problem need any helps !!!

N910S to N910C UAE MM official odin firmware.

I created this rom but need some bug fixes the warning shows on notification and little bit heating issue and when dial number there were noices in speaker like fm radio.

for little bit heating issue.you can delete /system/bin/debug_proxy....
maybe it will solve your problem.
file attach below will fix your call audio problem

Can you upload / share a separate bootloader and modem for this UAE firmware. Thanks!

u must root.or use TWRP delete without root :good:

Bro i have N910S korean note 4 you gave me wrong file and where this file will go? And the error shows at notification when i tried to call someone how this will be fixed one more thing wifi activation is little bit slow and it is forgetting my password every time it needs password to connect?

this isn't flashable file.simple.just copy it and replace n set permission
i'm using N910S too and i using SimplROM and patch fix with that file.and everything fine no problem happened.i get them from Stock ROM

I have n910k, still stock, how did you use simplerom on your n910s? I tried to flash through cwm but simplerom didnt boot.
Also what would happen if you flash 910C UAE firmware?

Phone work perfect like international model
all korean stuff removed
logo was changed
network mode multi csc
Just few bugs is there i need someone help that i think due to different kernal or bootloader or modem it gives an error that some thing went wrong and call sound is not clear noices there. I need a help of an expert developer that help me to fixed it

Roaming stuff were removed successfuly

Guys figure it out where is the problem the phone is heating on normal use 0 apps running in background and the eroor is giving in notification when try to call someone the sound of call is not clear and this rom is not rooted .

your imei number is it still there ?
if yes then you are using wrong modem.
you may need to flash primed kernel

no cant use odin, can only do it through TWRP, or any custom recovery. you don't need root to flash primed kernel.

What issues are related with kernal?

And is that posible that i extract system.img from the rom and change the kernel file ?

Missing Fingerprint Option

since moving to Nougat i have lost the option to setup fingerprint. i have even tried flashing stock rom back to MM but still lost the function - it is showing in my apps, but with 0 bytes of data.
not sure what has happened there. phone is rooted with PHH superuser and magisk - but i had no issues up til i updated to N, any ideas on how to get this back?

i was using customized au and always have and had no issues - then i did some research and found out that US had this option as disabled - but UK was a definate - so i tried UK yesterday and still nothing.
In security i only have, pin, password or pattern

With your original Firmware FTF (stock region), open 0:25 select all wipe options (for Sin and Misc TA)..
Do NOT flash patched kernel after flashing ftf, boot-up for first usage.. Fingerprint should work..

i generally dont flash patched kernel till after first boot and everything works - i will try this and get back to you

I think your fingerprint broken, if you tried original region stock firmware. Did you try restore TA Area backup?

I was on carbon and it came up in set-up guide, but I had to go back to stock because of Bluetooth calling, and then it has disappeared? No idea. Thanks for looking though.
The option is not even showing in the security menu lol

will try it when i get a chance - no internet at home (well not for the next 3 months anyway) so can only do at work.
and since its night here then i'm going to try again tomorrow LOL
but yeah no idea, but it seems fairly common on a few devices so not entirely sure - but will try lineageos again and see how i go

T roaming?? What the crap

I had a problem with my a8 so i flashed latest firmware for my phone a530w (wind/freedom) from sammobile and then i see this t roaming thing and i have 16gb of storage instead of 32... how do i fix it?
I fixed the 16gb problem by going into twrp and repairing file system but what the crap is this t roaming thing and how do i remove it??

I don't think that is true because I had many stock room and got that it went away after I modified 8s csc and flashed it to get volte working.

Ok so I found out what was wrong, I had to flash the FULL firmware, I found that out when I wanted to manually update to the ARF1 firmware, now it's back to normal

I keep on trying but I keep getting errors like boot-loader error, PIT error and '"magic string not found error". I think the error might be that I flashed the wrong firmware[SM-G930S] at first, and it comes with the whole t-mobile data roaming error, meanwhile the correct firmware is a G930FD how do I fix this.

Samsung galaxy s8+ (sm-g955fd)

Anyone help me please...i have a samsung galaxy s8 plus and my country is malaysia...i want to update my firmware manually from 7.0 to 8.0 ...i wish that i can install by OTA but everyday i check it say my software already the latest one, yet it still running a 7.0 which is i desperately want an update. Then i search in sammobile for the latest firmware available for my device..there it have a 8.0 and 9.0 firmware that i can download....i download a 8.0 and flash it using odin 3.12 ...the problem here ,after i start to fill out that "BL AP CP CSC " butto n then i press start it show me a "PASS" with green background.. its weird cos all that process completed in 7 sec..Then my device reboot...nothing unusual happen...i check in software detail on my phone it say that im running 7.0..with nothing change at all ...help me please....and btw im not using a "CSC" im using a "HOME_CSC" file is that make any difference??and should i on or off developer option in setting???

Never heard something like that. I think you forgot to check ap + bl + cp + csc. Home csc is not wiping data. Normal csc does

I dont think so...i check all u say...and i flash it 2 times already but still nothing was change....ya i using home csc cause i dont want to wipe up my data....any other suggestion?

Nop...nothing weird....all normal that it should be ...nothing red....at odin also nothing weird...all green and pass...

Yeyyy...i just done my update...hahaha...actually i have to use the latest odin which is odin 3.13 before this i use odin 3.12 that why it doesnt make it...but now my software have been update to 8.0...thank you so much brother
