Battery drain is bit high on heavy usage like playing games..but all ok
Same here. When i play a game or watch video then battery is going down really fast. Hope that a update will make this situation a bit better.
it is expected since kirin 960 has a less power efficient gpu
You'll see a significantly higher battery drainage when playing games.
According to Accubattery it drained from 84% to 37% for 4h 27m from playing honkai impact and other games, so I'd say it's decent. At least for me.

So far this is the best device I used but for me battery life is like money can never have too much.
It can pretty much take any heavy load you give it. It just takes time if you use heavy GPU intensive tasks or something like that.

drains faster!
I am playing 6 hours civrev2(it is very heavy game that need a lot of process) and battery remain 20 percent
And after that I plug it in charge and continue playing for 2 hours and heating up very much , when it is in highest heating level back and recent button not working properly and sometimes I don't touch it but buttons working after 1 minute all things going to nomal .
I never experienced 6 hours gaming on other phones like Samsung and Huawei this phones drain battery very fast.

It isn't actually good idea for using it for a long time - it becomes hot easily and battery is also quickly getting "used"

CRAZY endurance under heavy use. You can expect to easily get over 6 hours SOT even with heavy use, and over 8 in moderate use.

Well, I'm not a heavy user but while playing games like Asphalt 8 and 9 battery drains fast.. never noticed lags though
