Cellular strength and throughput - Sony Xperia XA Real Life Review

We know how much you like to stream, ahem, "videos", and so cellular data is mega-important. Rate this thread to express how you think the Sony Xperia XA's LTE performs. A higher rating indicates that it's fantastic: throughput is excellent and signal strength is top-notch.

On the 3 Network UK
Not as strong a signal as some of my other Mediatek devices.
3 uk 7.0 FW installed but I still need to use the Three WiFi app indoors to make calls, send and receive sms messages

Stay away from any Sony phone. The company does not support what they they sell. I had my phone for just over a year when it started dropping wifi connection, I complained to my SP and they told me it was a problem with Sony phones. I have the chat transcript to support my claims. When I contacted Sony, the only option I had was to ship my phone back to them (I only have their cell phone, no landline to fall back on) and after who knows how long, they would "repair" their defective phone and send it back. In the meantime, I would be paying my my phone bill for a phone that Sony would have in their possession. Such poor customer service from a company such as Sony is deplorable. Believe me, my next phone will NOT BE A SONY. BUYER BEWARE.

3/5 in my network. Speeds are pretty good while using flood to download torrents. Upload is crap but that's probably my carrier.
WAS 5/5 until the Lenovo update that broke VoLTE, adding salt to the wound it's been 4 months since they fixed it with an update but only for the Indian (maybe Chinese too) m models,I got an American y model, no update so far.

Obviously, LTE speeds depend on the signal strength & how many people are using the network at a certain time
But for me, the LTE speed are good enough I suppose, can't really complain about them
