By using substratum, you can overlay .spr files (Samsung encrypted assets) through a .png file.
Files below are found in a decompiled SystemUI.apk from Samsung:
Code:
ic_sysbar_home_anim_2.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_3.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_4.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_5.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_6.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_7.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_8.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_9.spr
ic_sysbar_home_anim_10.spr
Conditions:
Files should be 72x72
All files after ic_sysbar_home_anim_6 should be the same (in terms of scale) as ic_sysbar_home_anim_6, to retain smooth transition back home.
I used xxhdpi folder but you can do this for all folders.

Hi there, how exactly can I make a custom animation?, sorry but am a noob here ?

Is it possible to get the Pixel-style animated home button with this method?

Click to collapse
Don't think that only being allowed 10 icons for the animation will be enough for a Pixel home button animation...

HelixLauncher2 Pre-Modded with Wallpaper Set

I apologize in advance for wasting forum space. I was bored.
I prefer the shortcuts at the bottom of HelixLauncher2 to the Launcher2 compiled in CM 5.0.6, so I yanked the current version from Arctu's post and modded it with the 3D Android Guy and transparent Home button mods from Chronzz's post, and threw in a handful of my favorite wallpapers pre-sized for my Nexus.
the .apk: http://www.mediafire.com/?zlynndjlbw1
I pushed to /system/app in case I wanted to morph it into something different later. All other instructions can be found in one of the two posts above. Screenshot and Wallpaper images below:

Extract the apk file you will see the lockscreen image you have to replace the on thats in the system/framework/framework-re.apk
Eaasy way If you have a theme just stick it into that framework-res dir in theme theme folder and it will override the original
can check out my theme also i have the Blue lockscreen Torch in it

Looks like parts of a theme you recently installed from the Theme Store.
How can I delete theme ? The one I downloaded is complete mess. Many icons and wallpaper not displayed.
Edit:nevermind found out how
this is definitely theme related. each activity like memo or contacts, seem to have its own apk that takes care of the theming. Not used themes get disabled. you can delete them in the themes manager in settings...
I was wondering if two different themes can be combined by just enabling apk's from another theme. With root of course. ANYBODY knows this?

Edit: There is an even better guide by [MENTION]@Goody68[/MENTION] HERE.
Root IS Needed.Go over to this thread and download WizIconizer by @sabeersas, and click thanks while your there.
Get your icons from the Play Store.
Open up WizIconizer and long press on the icons you want, it will show a preview screen, just press back once, then apply.
It'll ask you to reboot, you can reboot now, or press back and go to the next steps before a reboot.
Download the theme you want from the theme store.
Before you apply it navigate to /data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson/ using a root browser.
Or a root FTP server like I'm using.Find the file for the theme you want.
Open it as a text file. Find the "appicon" line. Delete the whole line and save the file.
You need to reboot once before applying the theme.
Thats it!
That awesome thanks ?
