Looks like this unroots Epic rom. Not a big deal, will reflash SuperSU.
Edit: flashed latest SuperSU and all is well. Will test safetynet and Magisk later.
Wifi is not working on my device....

Sure.
Test were made with MultiRom 7.6.15. There wifi works. Well, if anybody here is capable to replace a ramdisk you could try to replace the one in the kernel with the Epic one. If not you've to wait a little for a modded one. No time atm, sorry.

Im coming from RR, i did a full wipe except data. I installed epic Rom did the initial setup. Then went back to recovery and installed the custom kernel.

Well, thx, that sound like their phones need a wipe.
The wifi is kernel internal, not realized with a module like in miui. That's the reason why the installer swaps libhardware_legacy.so libs for example. Their could be data that is pointing to the no longer used module maybe. You'll figure that out guys.

NO!!anyway i was in XTRV ,wiped system,cache,dalvik.install EPIC 7.6.22 then back to recovery .flash kernel.....still no wifi....

Sure he can, the patch is universal, should work on any 821 kernel. But it is questionable if it is making sense, because of i've not seen any device working stable with even the slightest UV.
Have you tried UV with my kernel already and got it working stable? My Mix always didn't return from sleep. I'm fairly sure the 821 is close to it's limits with stock voltages.

It is necessary to use the UV only for the most used frequency, not for the entire frequency range.
E.g. when you use fbreader or something like this, use UV only for 307Mhz. This requires fine-tuning for each case and tasks. So it works more or less.

Looks like your CPU is a good one. I've tried many combination for sure before releasing my kernel with OC/UV included. My CPU overclocked well, but UVed in such a small range that it made no sense to use it on my Mix. As it worked in general there wasn't a reason to release it anyway.

Latest epic pro, with dragonxia kernel 3.9.07 for MIUI.
Flash epic pro boot.img, flash this kernel, flash SuperSU, cache and dalvik wipe, reboot and wifi doesn't work, reboot some times and nothing, flash boot.img and works

Okei, after flashing the boot.img and the kernel this alerts pop up every time i turn on my device... Also, Spectrum is not working. I install it from play store and give it root permisions. The screen on the app is just pitch black. Any thing im doing wrong? Any comments or help?

You can change cpu frequencies between 300mhz to 2.21ghz use lower frequency for better battery management , though by default it's 2.21 GHz so , you will get no lag experience in gaming and other heavy duty stuff , use kernel auditor to change frequencies and it have other options as well.

Installation
1. Flash in TWRP recovery or flash directly in EX Kernel Manager
Notes
Stay up to date with EX Kernel Manager. The latest security updates are always available through the app, usually within hours of the latest OTA. EXKM can be used to configure settings, backup and flash zips and img files, run scripts and install kernel updates quickly and easily. EXKM is compatible with all devices and kernels and is the best and most complete kernel manager available.
You can also use High Brightness Mode so you can see your phone in the sun. This app unlocks the hidden hardware setting that makes your screen much brighter than stock. HBM requires root.

You need to have EXKM 5.05 (or later) to flash, you should see an update on the Play Store soon.
Or you could flash in twrp by copying the zip to /cache and flashing from there.

I tried to move the zip to /cache, but it seems twrp won't mount anything so I guess we will have to wait twrp for decryption?

TWRP can read /cache, and I flashed it successfully from there, as well as in EXKM 5.05

I am not getting EXKM v5.0.5 yet, after flashing your kernel, can I manage it with v5.0.3 or should I wait for the newest version?
I'm right now using holy dragon kernel. If I want to flash your kernel now, what shall be the procedure.
1) Restore original boot kernel via ex kernel manager.
2) reboot
3) flash your kernel via ex kernel manager with 5.05.
4) reboot

Has anyone installed this on the EU variant (GM1913). I see in the source this is synced up to 9.5.3 for the US unlocked / India variant but EU unlocked is on 9.5.4 with a different build number. I've had a look in the comments but can't see anyone mentioning one way or another?

I can't enroll a fingerprint even with the stock unrooted boot.img
I think it is disabled if the bootloader is unlocked
Face unlock works.

So weird, I am completely stock and cannot add a fingerprint.

Fingerprint now working. Was able to enroll new and unlock without issue. Nice job man!

I removed the patches that try to hide bootloader status from SafetyNet.
I'm pretty new in terms of oneplus devices, is it safe to block the current wake locks?
Glad to see ElementalX kernel on OnePlus 8. It's also my favorite kernel on my OnePlus 5.

Bought it several years ago, dont know if its Wirkung (not rooted FOR NOW).
