Skins for the Mate 9? - Huawei Mate 9 Accessories

Has anyone had any luck finding good skins for this phone? Slickwraps and dbrand don't seem to make any and the skinomi made skins are so sloppily cut that I had to take mine off within a day

Go recommend it on dbrands site. Go to contact us and tell them you want it. If enough people do it they'll make it.

Speck Cases

I'm not sure about everyone's preference here to what cases they enjoy, but I have been emailing http://www.speckproducts.com/products/by_device about them making a case for the Nexus One. They have some really nice fitted cases for iPhones and Blackberrys and would love to get one on my N1.
Anyone else interested can submit a request as I did.

I just noticed this is in general section. Can a moderator move this to accessories please. Sorry

Hi,
I would say without a doubt Vaja are the best makers of phone cases in the world. They allow you to customise your choice of case & hand make to order.
The best famous case they make is the Iphone Ivolution cases.
I have opened a thread previously in accessories section requesting people to contact vaja via the Vaja home page to make a Ivolution case for the Nexus One.
If you search on the net "Iphone Ivolution" you will know what I am talking about.
At the moment I have settled with using a Sena Ultraslim Brown pouch.
Here is a few more good companies that make cases.
www.Noreve.com
www.Pdair.com
www.senacases.com
www.Vajacases.com
Thanks

I've owned vaja cases for my ex n95 8gb. I really like the look of the speck products. I wwas hoping more people would see them and ask if they would make one for the N1. I dont think they would unless there is a demand for it. But thank for your suggestions

I would love a Speck case. On my wife's iPhone, we use the hard shell case (silicone inside, hard shell outside) and my toddler BEATS it up. She throws it down the steps and practically everywhere else and the phone still looks brand new (been about a year with same case).

Carrying Pouch From the Verge YouTube video.

Hello,
New Nexus 4 user here! I love everything about the phone, its fast, beautiful, and its finally MINE!!
Anyway's I'm opening new tread because I've used search function, and I've didn't find any results that would lead me to the information I'm seeking. If I've somehow miss looked, and it has been answered before, I'm sincerely sorry for this tread, and it can be closed.
What am I actually looking for?
I'm looking for a Carrying Pouch for Nexus 4, that is being used by Matias Duarte in this YouTube video right here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66-4uMQqerA
Video is from The Verge and the tittle of the video is; Nexus 4, Nexus 10, Android 4.2: an exclusive first look from inside Google HQ.
I'm going to press thanks to whoever is willing to answer me, and will not be In any way sarcastic, or offending.
Thanks.
Congrats on your new Nexus 4!!
I believe that is a mofi pouch (I might be wrong). I've never used one, but I've read people finding it on buychina. There are different sizes too.
If you need something similar, I suggest pouches from sfbags.com.
If you want something classier, check out Bugatti leather pouches on amazon.de or amazon.co.uk. I have one and they are amazing. Hope this helps :good:
@lahin Thank you very much sir!
You are correct, It is Mofi Pouch!! And thanks for the Bugatti suggestion!! I was looking for solid leather pouch, and It is really good looking, I will buy one.
If you don't mind me asking, which Bugatti one are you using?
No problem. I have the Bugatti Elements one. It's not completely leather, but I wanted one that fits with a slim case (Ringke slim), and it does.
Also, check out dbrand skins if you want to protect the back glass while carrying it around in a pouch.
Edit: there are threads on both Bugatti pouches and dbrand skins. You'll find more info there.
I've already ordered carbon one from dbrand for my N4 Thanks for suggestion!
Hmm, there are a lot of nice Bugatti cases, have to think for sometime to chose
Thank you sir for all the informations.
The skinny XL pouches are the most popular ones. The glowing coal and steel versions are pretty awesome!

[Q] Cruzerlite skins

Cruzerlite skins:
I am thinking about purchasing a cruzerlite skin for my G2. So a few questions for anybody that has one.
How hard are they to put on perfectly, i'm going to need it perfect (one of those types of people haha)
Are they thin? Do they add any bulk?
Assuming I can't take it off ever again without it being ruined, right?
Do cases still fit on the phone?
Looking at the Antibacterial skin
Ask in g2 forum, this is nexus country. We don't take kindly to your kind around here.... mmmmmhmmm.

Any suggestions/opinions on skins?

Hi all,
I'm thinking on going with a skin this time around, rather than a case. For the first time I'm really impressed with the design, and I'd like to not cover it up. So what's your view on this? Are there skins that do a good job preventing scratches? good manufacturers? Anyone had experience with skins for the Note 3?
My plan for now is to get something from https://www.decalgirl.com/

I might get skin too. I change battery alot. Are skin easier to take off then case?
Is skin like bumper?
No it's not like a bumper. Here's an example of a skin:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eaCc7_1aK3Y
Depending on where you get it, some companies guarantee easy installation and removal. This is the top skin at the moment for the Note 3 at DecalGirl:
https://www.decalgirl.com/skins/194547/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-3-Skin-Flower-Of-Fire
It says: Easy, bubble-free installation and goo-free removal.
Here's a nice one from Skinomi: http://www.skinomi.com/sk13209-samsung-galaxy-note-iii-brushed-steel-skin-protector.html
Might even be better since I don't want skins for the sides and front.
Edit: Skinomi already has a few products for the Note 4

iCarbons
I always use a skin along with the Seidio spring clip holster and tempered glass protector. The ones I always use are from iCarbons, the quality can't be beat imo! Everyone is always asking me where I got it from. I hate cases they take away from the feel of the phone. Check them out!

Skin for the Xiaomi Mi Mix?

Anyone just using a skin on the back of the phone? If so which one?
Dont like using a case. But its slippery without it.
Anyone used grip tape on their phone?
I tried using the back protector (which comes with screen protectors) and was nice. But dont use anything anymore.
I did ask dbrand if they will make some skins, they said it's not a definite no, they are still gathering input, which apparently is just large enough to keep considering.
They will only make Mix skins if they get enough requests, so I guess it'd make sense for all of us to place requests on their website.
If you reside in the US, you can check out "Decalrus" on amazon. Designs are in the hundreds. 5 bucks i think. Comes with front skin for bottom bezel. Their homepage has a creator for custom skins also, but the mix is not listed there or anywhere on their page. They seem to have messed up with their layers when creating the illustration images. Screen has sony icons, and back skin has the selfie camera too. I would roll the dice on one if I could.

Even I had enquired with dbrand and they replied that this isnt happening.
Seems there isnt sufficient demand for them to allocate their time and resources for the Mix.
I highly doubt that we will see a skin from dbrand as the Mix is still very much a "concept device". It doesn't look like there are many (a considerable number) people, who have the device.
Its just a few of us here and maybe a few in China. And then a few more who don't generally post on forums. So not a big number
I wonder where all the 10000 units manufactured per month are going to.

Mi Mix Full coverage Wood pattern skin
Check this out! These are the only skins I could find at the moment. Like any skin, It would only offer protection from scratches though. Its made of dirt resistant PVC, and is advertised to have a real wood-like texture.

Bought this, shipping took forever but it's pretty decent quality. Cutouts for camera, flash, and fingerprint sensor are accurate and it's textured for some grip. Application is fairly easy. The seller shipped 3 I'm thinking of buying a dbrand skin for a tablet and cutting it using one of these as a template to see how that goes. Not that there's anything wrong with this one but just because nothing can compete with dbrand when it comes to skins.
Guys I have just ordered from on AliExpress a carbon fiber skin. This is LITERALLY the only thing available on the whole website.
Can't post link because I am new, I can send PM if interested.
I hate carbon fiber feeling and I won't be covering the back of the phone. The only reason I bought this is because it's the only item that has sticker pieces that attach to the SIDE of the phone that will provide, at least technically, some more grip.
As soon as it will arrive I'll give feedback.
elialitem pls send me the link to that skin
I I'm new too and I don't know how to use the pm /:

Hey I found an alternate solution for the slipperyness of this phone.
There is a product you can buy that puts a thin layer of protective glass over the entire smartphone.
This glass gives the phone a better more solid feel and is much more grippy.
They go for quite cheap too on eBay just a couple dollars.

Sure it's basically Liquid Screen Protector but I put it over the entire phone.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0178AURT8/ref=mp_s_a_1_2
Warning this link is to an expensive version from Amazon , the ones listed on eBay are way cheaper.

Does it helps for better grip?
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
Hello,
I got today the carbon fiber dbrand-style skin from Aliexpress.
Here are the pictures: 1 2 3 4 5
As you can see, the sides parts of the skin were cut short which make this extremely not pretty to look at. However, grip of the phone increased dramatically.
It does not feel like a dbrand skin, it does feel it's just a sticker, however the fake carbon fiber does give a lot of grip. The sides of the sticker as well are very sharp which improve even more grip, but makes me wonder about durability of this sticker. Being so sharp means dust can easily get underneat it.
Probably worth the 3 euros that it costs, not more.
