Camera not working correctly after bootloader unlock need drm zip maybe? - Sony Xperia XZs Questions & Answers

Is there a fix for the camera? Every picture is a green image. Video works perfectly and so does taking pictures while recording. This is what I get after taking a picture https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3X5UsrOGdPuV3Z4UFctTU9LS1k/view?usp=drivesdk

Just wanted to say that I got the same, welp. Good thing I prioritize root before camera.
But if this **** happens on the XZ Premium I will be sad.

What I noticed is the camera app in Facebook works. You can also save the picture. The one for your story. Kinda like snap chat

Oh, that's for dual which I assume doesn't work on single? I have the G8231.
So probably that's why it got stuck at SONY logo .

Open the ftf file in winzip or winrar and extract the kernel.sin file. It's quite simple.

I did for myself, TWRP from XZ should be placed separately
Everything works fine, on version 3.1.00 can not be mounted system

Works fine as above stated! I still use TWRP-3.0.2-4-kagura.img though because again as above said 3.1 can't mount internal.

hi can u upload it again?coz the link not working anymore

Sony provides a "legit" way to unlock the bootloader on their site; will unlocking the bootloader for my G8232 that way still destroy the DRM keys and impair the camera performance? Thanks!

I used TWRP v2.8
I had to wait (in recovery mode) until the screen goes off, turn it on without touching the screen, wait until it goes off one more time then turn on the screen before TWRP responds to my touches. [emoji28]
Of course, the first thing I did was changing screen on time from 60s to 15s.
Thank you. Which D820 do you got? The last time i tried several twrp recoveries and tools for the D820 but none of them worked. I really would like to root my phone. Unrooted feels unright haha.

I had to use DC-Phoenix, which unlocked BL and flashed update.app. I couldn't do it manually, because my phone wasn't detected by adb devices and I didn't know that code you need for unlocking bl manually, dload method didn't want to turn on.
