Backpack Availability: Due Wednesday 31st March

http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=108741
I see Expansys are now saying 31st of March for the Backpack rather than the constantly moving 40 days...
Anyone used one yet / got one earlier somewhere else?
They say 30th of April for the i-mate backpack not sure why that should take a month longer and cost an extra £3!
Jamie
Yes
I got one from bluetrade couple of days ago
What is bluetrade's URL?
Have you tried the video out yet? Does it work with media player as well as power point viewer?
Thanks
Jamie
bluetrade

yes work fine with powerpoint and other appli. Also with a batt 600mh and a Cf slot
Nice add on
good luck
Any chance of a mini review FL 9500
I am waiting to purchase an XDA II until I know how useful the backpack will be:
Mainly - can it play fullscreen media files on a TV?
Can Nydot be used with the output onto a monitor?
Will the CF accept microdrives?
How does the resolution change - ie is there software included?
A mini review as I believe you are the first owner on the forums would be appreciated by all.
Thanks
Jayman
It can be used to see divx in the TV?
As for the Expansys dates, I wouldn't put too much stock in any arrival date that is the first day of the month or the last. They probably don't know and are just guessing. The first or last day of a month is a convenient date to slap in there

[Q] Best HTC Desire HD deal with cash back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys... As seen on my other thread, I have a dilemma of going for current best phone - HTC Desire HD or wait for the Nexus S/other dual core phones.
BUT....
When I search for contract today, I found a HTC Dersire HD deal which is best for me.
Network: Orange
Monthly price: 30
minutes : 500 anytime any network
text: Unlimited (althought I dont text much)
Internet: 500MB (I think 500mb will do because I will use wi-fi at home)
Contract: 24 months
Cash Back: 7months half price, equals to GBP105.
That means, my effective cost is only 25.63 per month and full price for over 24 months is only GBP 615.
It will be around GBP 550 if I choose only 300 minutes but in case I over used the minutes and get charge at high price, so I would rather pay 3 pounds extra to get 200 more minutes.
Now, my big concern. Have anyone got a better deal than this which could persuade me to sign a contract for Desire HD rather than to wait for Nexus S?
Open for any suggestion. Comment are much appreciated. Thanks
Come on.. Posted a week no one give opinion.. Dead site
Hi,
You are asking a purely subjective question, ie someone else's opinion will be different to yours.
Do you want someone else to decide for you? If so, you probably wont get many answers on here.
If you have found a deal your happy with then go for it, if not wait
The reason for opening this thread is to discuss any other better deal than this, and also we can exchange opinion on other thing.. wait go go for the deal and possibly cite the reason behind.

[Q] Is buying a phone contract online safe?

Hi,
Ive been with three UK for 2.5 years now and would like to upgrade my xperia x10 phone. Now the thing is that when I call three for my upgrade options I was given the following deals:
- Xperia T for £34 per month, 500 min, 5000 text, unlimited data.
- Nexus 4 for £28 with everything unlimited.
But the problem is that I found this deal online where I get the same Xperia T for a much much lower price at almost the same plan. When I asked this from three support they said not to trust them and they will start charging more after 6 months, or the phone is refurbished and many other reasons such as fine print problems..
Has anyone had any experience with this site? or has anyone been tricked like this?
Thanks
Well, hopefully someone will have some first or second-hand experience, but I'd try looking at customer review sites and see what people are saying (although you have to take it with a grain of salt - I've had some places/businesses I love get terrible reviews for things I've never had a problem with so...).

Complaining about charging my phone too much

So my fiance and I just relocated from 200 miles away a few weeks ago. We're staying with my mom and her boyfriend until tax time when we will get our own house again.
Today is the second day in a row he has come unglued because we "charge our phones too much raising his electricity bill". I got very irate with him for getting as mad as he did about it and gave him $3.00 and stated, it takes roughly 50 cents per smartphone to charge it every day for 1 year. We have two smartphones. Consider us paid in full for 1 year, and consider the rest profit.
Did I go too far? This dudes a complete douche bag by the way. Constantly downgrading my mom and family.
Lol no u didn't go to far he did lol that's sad he can't really think charging the 2 phones is gonna raise his bill lol good luck mate
That's why I got so mad. Lol
This seems to be a good topic for a social media site maybe...... But not a development site. :silly:
Thread closed.

Keep U11 or pre-order the Note 8?

Just bought the U11 a few days ago and the phone has been great. But, ever since I saw the debut of the Note 8, I'm really liking the phone. I still have the 30 day return option so I can possible get the Note 8 but I don't know which phone to pick. Main goal is to have a phone that will last at least more than 18 months. Which would you recommend overall?

It boil down to your priorities. What features you like, size of the phone, which processor (for non US), headphone jack etc. So my recommendation would be to make a pros and cons list and decide.
Personally i won't go with any Samsung phones.

Go with the Nite, just because you're intending to skip next year's phones.
If HTC grow with the 11 (it's a fabulous phone!) And get a handle on the hardware design (its too thick, the bezels top and bottom are to wide....) Then next year's release is going to be excellent
Or pixel xl 2?
If you have a 30 day return, why not use it... Swap it for the note 8, test it for a month, if no good, swap it back for the U11 or by that stage, look at the Pixel2 etc.
Personally I wouldn't go with samsung phone. I am glad I got rid of my note 3 and probably not going back to samsung anytime soon...
first of all you are on the u11 forum which is wrong
secondly for an honest advice I would go for the 6gb u11 not the 4gb
if you can't get the 6gb u11 then get the note
I would keep it untill Pixel XL 2 comes out...Note8 is too big
