Don't flash superSU, it will softbrick it. As it's based on CM it has built-in root found under Settings/Developer Options/Root Access

I tried that adb and apps right in dev options? What's a good kernel for this? This ROM is awesome. How do I clean up memory RAM usage? I'm at 97% what is causing this?

Yep adb and apps is right. There is no custom kernel (yet). I was usually getting 70-80% used RAM, it might be caused by your installed apps, games, services, etc. Nougat needs more RAM than MM

Dammit Jim, I'm an aircraft mechanic, not a doctor! I got no clue where to start. I'd be better off installing a V400 recovery and then flashing the V400 ROM, I expect. Would the TWRP even let me install the V400 recovery on the V410?

Because I think the 6.0 package requires patch in the ROM for the proper permissions for Gapps to work....

It is a 6.0 Rom so you have to use the 6.0 Gapps.

ROM - 13/12/16 on otus (xt1506) clean flashed using latest twrp. Open gapps 7.1 nano.
This Rom is very smooth, lucid and faster than marshmallow builds. I have not encountered severe bugs so far but there are some which I will report after logging.
Almost everything is working - dual sim, calling, sms, camera, video, adopted storage too.
Battery life is just awesome not a single percent drop while in sleep even with apps like g+, fb, WhatsApp.
After using from last 24hrs I can say you can use it as daily driver without any issues.
Thanks dev for the awesome work!

Yeah camera is still dead, I'm trying out the uncommitted changes by rashed to see if they fix anything but don't hold your breath

I tried out the new unmerged code for camera, still doesn't work, the camera app opens and stays open but it shows just blackness. I guess a move in the correct direction

Yup tried it on cm 14.1 from 30-th december it's the same,cam opens and just stays on black screen...
But as u say it is a step forward..

Yes

It's great that so many are using the new Resurrection Remix Nougat ROM, but it is far from stable. Unmerged changes to the Lineage OS device tree are not finished, you should not hope they will fix anything. I hope that there is more bug reports from this release that find problems.

I'm trying to install and from error 7. My M9 is from Sprint, but I'm SOFF.

been using it on my m9 and m8. great clean rom with lots of customization to boot.

I believe that's just how the CM kernel works, you can use kernel adiutor to turn them on but they don't seem to do much, it's probably best to ask someone who knows more though

Oh yeah, I forgot to specify Lol. Yes builds are rootless so you can flash latest Magisk or Supersu. I'll update second post.

Thanks for the ROM. I flashed magisk zip to get root. Only thing I can't find is the option to space apart the navigation buttons. Other than that ROM is perfect.

Thanks! I'm getting back in the swing of things with Flo, haven't supported a tablet in a while. Is there a rom that currently has that option?

Well it shows up in navigation bar option in the default system UI tuner. But strangely that option isn't there. Not a big deal at all. Thanks for keeping my flo alive :good:

So what are the biggest differences with SU and Magisk? Just different methods of rooting, or is there more to it?

BeansGapps issue
RR-N-v5.8.3-20170602-flo-Official is great.
However - BeansGapps-Mini-7.1.x-20170415 after flash it try to run wizard and keep failing stating wizard stop.
Unable to run Gapps.
Please advise.

Use the beans mini gapps 5/09. You're using older gapps.

I tried rooting it buy flashing the latest version of Magisk (12.0). It successfully flashed but when I try to run it the app brings me to the store to update but it cannot find magisk in the play store. Any ideas why?

Google pulled magisk from playstore for what they claimed where violations. I think the apk might be on apkmirror

Another android 7 rom. Devs please build lineage 13. I want build but i don't have pc for it. Your works very good. But in the android 6 battery life still better than other android versions.

Santosh61 rulez! I've been using RR for a whole day and I'm very happy with it. Lot's of customization and apart from MTP host crashes (I've freezed the service with TitaniumBackup, so I don't get this anymore) I don't see any issues. Now we wait for security update, cause this BlueBorn vulnerability doesn't look good.

Can you add background color switch to screen saver? I like to see the time during charging, but when I load some theme with Substratum the background is not black and in places where the time was displayed there are strangely looking watermarks of past time. If you can't make color switch at least make an option to force it to complete black.
I could probably use some screen saver app from play store to do this, but why if there is already built-in function.

Anyone can confirm that screen search works on this ROM. I've tried different launchers and changing settings in Google app, but still it doesn't work.
Ok, never mind. I've finally got this working, but I don't know why it didn't work before. If someone wants to use it make sure you choose Google Now On Tap and that your language is supported.

I tried that adb and apps right in dev options? What's a good kernel for this? This ROM is awesome. How do I clean up memory RAM usage? I'm at 97% what is causing this?
