I don't understand how this will work on other Android phones. According to Samsung, you must register all your cards with Samsung Pay on your smartphone first. How do you do this is you have a non-Samsung smart phone?

Hope its works as I bought it due to supposedly compatibility with other Android phones.

You will need to use a Samsung Phone to activate this feature. Im online with samsung now. Maybe I can change the build prop on my Pixel XL.

There is a Samsung Pay app within the Gear app. It appears to be separate from the Samsung Pay app that runs on Samsung Smartphones. (I had to re-register my card under the Gear Samsung Pay app even though it was already registered in the Samsung Pay app running on my S7.) So you probably just need that app and not a Samsung phone. I can't confirm that, though, because I am using a Samsung phone.

Well that sucks

I just got my frontier from tmobile but i see no option for samsung pay ln the watch or in googles or samsungs app stores. I am using a ZTE Axon 7 as a phone which is running marshmallow.

You need a newer galaxy phone to set it up and then you need to use a galaxy phone at least every 5 transactions to keep Pay functional on the gear s3.
All these articles that say you can use Pay on the S3 with any Android phone are very misleading.

sigh... what b.s. this was. definitely misleading. rushed to get this thing and turns out, it wasn't ready for non galaxy phones. now we wait.. once again, wait for samsung to get their act together. note7 blowing up, poor launch on the gear s3. grrrr

Well Samsung Pay's Twitter handle has tweeted that an update to the Gear Manager app will bring the functionality. Hopefully that will be the case.

I got the v20 as well and just set up the Pay feature... loving this phone, and this watch for sure!!!

I received the gear plug in update also and then I hit the Samsung pay notification on the watch. When I click install Samsung pay, it says installation failed please try again. I reset the gear and deleted apps phone from, still getting same error
I'm using a pixel xl

I also received the plugin update and was able to setup Samsung Pay on my rooted Nexus 6 this morning. I also added three cards. Now I just need to make sure it actually works.

Did anyone else's wake up gesture stop working after setting up Samsung Pay and setting a security pin?

Grand Theft Auto 3 (GTA III) on the Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-i727

Grand Theft Auto III, confirmed to work on Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket.
I purchased it for $4.99 a few minutes before midnight pacific time. I was a little bit worried that it would not be a supported device (none of the Samsung Galaxy S2 were listed as compatible devices, but it supported HTC Rezound which has the Snapdragon Adreno 220 combo that the Skyrocket has. The app itself was only a few megs but there was about 450MB to download before launching the game.
FYI, on your phone, you cannot find the game by searching "GTA". You have to find it by searching "grand theft auto". If you are on the market directly there are 3 releases by Rockstar:
Grand Theft Auto III (US version, this is the right one)
GTA III (Japanese Version?)
Grand Theft Auto 3 (German)
First impressions on performance.
The frames per second is good. Pretty much what you came to expect on the Skyrocket. Very smooth but when a lot of things are going on framerate might drop a little. When tons of stuff is happening, lag can lag a little bit but it won't be a show stopper.
First impressions on controls.
The controls seem aggressive when driving as though they've fast forwarded the game. I think I can adjust. The controls seem to work best when you are making quick taps to adjust rather than having to hold something down.
Audio
It seems that all the radio stations and licensed songs are there. It is not straightforward how to change radio stations, but you have to swipe left or right where it says the name of the radio station. That space itself is really small to be swiping but it is possible. I love the Chatterbox radio station. It is the work of genius and Lazlow hasn't been as funny in any of the following releases.
In conclusion
It seems like they delivered on every one of my expectations. It is the full game. The controls work. The performance on the Skyrocket is good enough to play through the entire game. I can't believe I will get to play my favorite game on a device I carry with me at all times. This is a total win in my book.
One last note. If you do end up on the map, you exit the map by tapping on the home icon at the bottom right of the screen.
I noticed that when u buy apps from Amazon Appstore, even though the Android market says they are not compatible, most work with no issues or problems.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk
Does not work, it hangs at a black screen and my CPU goes to 50.0%. Tried Chainfire but crashes after a few seconds after starting the game.
I've got it confirmed working fine on mine. Been playing it on two different devices (traded in my old sr for a new one for the screen issue) for a few days now.

Bummer not working on mine... When i try and load a new game the lil bar gets to like 5% and then never moves again... Eventually force closes if u leave it for like 20 mins.. (
I cant even find it on the Market.
I have it, but for some reason it looks like it is gone from the market. shows up on my tablet fine, but missing for skyrocket. weird.
plays fine though.

Update:
Wow, I can confirm that the app that I purchased is now listed as not supported on the skyrocket, or even the SGH-i777(non skyrocket). I guess that is the backlash for buying it, getting a corrupt download, then 1 starring the review. I gave it 5 stars so it wasn't me.
Although I had Chainfire 3D drivers installed, I am not using any plugins, and using the default option which should be like not having chainfire at all. I haven't tried removing the chainfire drivers, removing chainfire, and rebooting the device to see if it doesn't work though.
It is still possible to get. I won't say how though, don't want to break the rules

The primary downside to the AT&T SGSII is no LTE (4G). If that's important to you you'll have to avoid that phone. AT&T released a "skyrocket" version that is larger and includes LTE, but it has other differences as well that cause it to have a smaller developer community.
Have you asked friends on other providers how good their 4G service is in your area? Perhaps that would help you determine which carriers are best for you.
What's important to you? Monthly price? Coverage? Unlimited mobile to mobile? LTE in your area or areas you frequent? CDMA technology vs GSM? Having the hottest phone? Customer service? Do you get a discount through school or employer for a specific carrier?

HTC ONE X
Bro, I currently have a sgs2 and am loving it. Once you find the correct settings for performance v's battery life then it is grand. I have ordered a HTC ONE X as I would love to use it while flying to help me pass my aeronautical acrobatic exam. The camera is out of this world and the battery life is about 3 times better than an sgs2, running it with comparable settings etc. So, if you got the cash go with the HTC ONE X and I am sure you will not be let down. My copilot on one flight had one and it is freakin legendary. Anyways, hope that helps bro.
I would go with either the One X or the Galaxy SIII. im kinda partial to the SIII because i've had my Captivate with CM9 and its wonderful. Carrier wise just go with someone who has better coverage in your area
It´s time for you to learn where to post!!!

Note 3 Photos Leaked - Real or Fake?

I Know this is random, but its also cool. For anyone keeping up with the rumors on the note 3, here's another. These Photos Were leaked online 6/10/2013. Comes from Sam Mobile who are the ones that leaked the Pictures of the S4 which turned out to be real. the phone seems to have a smaller bezzle like the s4 so the phone its self wont be bigger but the screen will.

So do what everyone does. Buy the Note 3 yourself, swap over the SIM and keep the contract. So long as you don't swap to a phone that requires a different data plan (Blackberry and Apple require a different dataplan than 'Everything else" here. Blackberry costs you 18 bucks a month extra for some reason.) you should be fine.
I hate having carrier-given phones. Not only do they come with all sorts of extra bloatware. (T-mobile apps, for instance), but half the time they want it back after two years. Meaning if you do anything they don't like, you have to pay for the phone fully again in the end AND hand it over.
I just told T-mobile my HD2 had been in the bag I lost at Schiphol Airport.

What do you mean?
that means - I prefer Moto 360 for its feature than Samsung Gear S2. this is my personal opinion
I have the 3G version Gear S on Sprint and had little 'disappointed when the announcements were coming through the device to AT & T, Verizon and US Cellular, but made no mention of Sprint?
I really like 3G connectivity now have, and could not easily return to the possession of a Smart Watch it.
Samsung has a proud history
Richly presented. Poor English by some of the speakers, sometimes making it difficult to understand. The bezel is a no brainier, although I'm sure that we will see improved versions over time. I hope that the processor is up to the task, because it seems that Samsung has had a good product on their hands. There is a vibrant community of wear, and more than 10,000 circular faces of clocks, most of them for free. S2 will be able to keep up? I would like the 3G version, provided that the battery capacity is up to it, but it seems that will be available only in some markets. In addition, Samsung has a proud history of abandon and do not update their products, which makes me hesitate. The clock, however, looks much better in terms of interface than anything else out there right now.

I would be very disappointed if this is true - since this is one of the few stand out features from the standard crop of Android Wear devices. I like using the Speaker phone feature from the Gear2 Neo - since my phone is not water resistant like the watch...
Maybe there's some sort of misunderstanding between the Samsung press releases and the reviewers? It may be that Samsung is trying to emphasize that the e-sim will allow them to make calls directly instead of going through the phone - like the standard watch model?
Samsung's built in plenty of apps that you'd expect to see on a smartwatch — phone dialer, calculator, music, phone finder, etc.

So - unless they were actually looking at the pre-production HW of the 3G models... I'm still hoping that the speaker phone functionality is still there. I guess everyone will find out for sure at the beginning of October.
Another possibility is that the watch might function as the microphone and playback the caller's voice over the phone's speaker? Kinda strange way of doing things.

Please note: I'm not trying to say that you are wrong - but at this point, it might be better to wait until the watch has been released and before making a final decision - and to make sure you buy from a store that allows returns in the event that this watch has, indeed lost the speakerphone function.

I had no idea we had a pilot in the ranks! My wife works for Garmin FltPlan
Depending on the size you want, I would think a Galaxy Tab S8+ would fit your needs
Garmin needs a dang vet discount 100$+ sub price is redic but worth it. i got 4 hours left till i get my private ( just night time flights left ) and a checkout ride by the faa. I shoulda done in the air force for free ooh well.

Well, the model you want would be SM-Xxx6 for the Tab S with 5G
SM-X706: Tab S8 5G
SM-X806: Tab S8+ 5G
SM-X906: Tab S8 Ultra 5G
You might have to buy it unlocked
Garmin does have a veteran discount through GovX...I just use my wife's 45% employee discount lol
found 808x

Well, since they're Snapdragon devices...maybe not.
Unfortunately it appears that Samsung and Apple pretty much dominate the tablet market. The Pixel Tab should release some time this year but it appears to be WiFi only.
