It's the same as any other LP ROM.
I didn't bother making some, I moved back on CM12. If someone is able to provide me with some screenshots I'd be grateful.

Probably I will call you for a test of pure AOSP rom, i just compiler the kernel under aosp source, it's booted fine, once i fix wifi and home button, i can build the entire rom and see

It's a rather fast rom. Battery seemed a bit better than CM. Didn't use it much. Still in alpha state.

Good job!
The ROM can be used for everyday use even if it is in alpha!
There are no annoying bugs.
I have found some little issues:
- I cannot go to recovery from the reboot menu: the device reboots normally
- there are no traffics arrows in the wifi and data icons in the status bar
- sometimes the device seems freezed with low responsiveness

These issues need to be worked by the source. I already have them in the device tree, but they were seen as "not existing" in the framework base.

Nothing will go wrong bro.. That's only a camera patch...if you are still afraid to flash, you can flash Beans gapps full version it will too replace your stock camera with GCam

Yes it is like Pure Aosp and i have made this for everyone's get experience it. But it has no customisation so users are less in numbers to use this rom. I will not update it. But will make some aosp rom which has basic features.

AOSP+CAF=Awesome ROM.
Always Loved AOSP. CAF optimization makes it even better if possible add led control and basic settings.

Please update for those who love aosp

I also have to agree I would like for you to keep updating this rom. A lot of the roms out are linage and featured packed already. This is refreshing as it's snappy and light, not bloated with too many features that are there but never get used, just the bare minimum. Flashed open gapps stock package and now it practically feels like a Nexus device.

Good to see first AOSP-CAF ROM for Le2.
I assume it is completely independent of LOS, but I wonder why we have same common issues of flashlight and camera
xposed is not there (or fully supported) for Android N yet, so not many would be interested to use pure AOSP-CAF. But as you said, you can make a custom based on AOPS-CAF to have few customizations that many people like

Pro tip : Developer options > Select runtime > Use ART

You can easily bypass the issue by using Wifi file transfer.
Personally, I never use MTP these days as I'm just too lazy! XD

Dude everything is working on my phone except MTP and compass as the developer said .. Are you sure you flashed this rom on galaxy grand Neo plus ? and all the attached gaps

You have changed vendor, or modified vendor(not stock), OpenKirin vendor will never ever work,, so get Pure stock vendor of your device... it will work for sure... if still not, change you data filesystem...
2.) What to do if my SIMs are not working ??
Go to Extras, disable dual sim, reboot phone,, now read carefully,,
1. Install hex editor app from playstore
2. Make sure you have file explorer with root privileges
3. Open hex editor and find modem,id file on this location root/sys/firmware/devicetree/base/hisi,modem_id and open it.
4. Write down all numbers in first row
5. Then go to root/system/vendor and find phone.prop and open it with text editor.
6. Find your modem id by using search and type 0x3xxxxxx where X is your number from hex reader
7. Then make it look like this:

PRA-LX1 (P9 Lite 2017) test feedback
After posting the EliteROM feedback, stepped over there to check the Slim one.
And for now I'm very positive
Android Debugging works as soon as I plug the cable in, haven't encounter any restart, every functionality I can think of right now is working.
Therefore I had problems with camera (like in haky's OSs - App has stopped) but Footej Cam works just fine. So functionally everything is GOOD.
It's still not EMUI, but works well enough to wait till another release of your Elite ROM
As for any PRA-LX1 seeker over there - this OS feel most suitable for me rigth now; you can try it out yourself (definitely deserves it). And if you have any other suggestion - let me know, I'll give it a try as well.

Therefore I had problems with camera (like in haky's OSs - App has stopped) but Footej Cam works just fine. So functionally everything is GOOD.
It's still not EMUI, but works well enough to wait till another release of your Elite ROM
As for any PRA-LX1 seeker over there - this OS feel most suitable for me rigth now; you can try it out yourself (definitely deserves it). And if you have any other suggestion - let me know, I'll give it a try as well.

Hey, with Huawei P8 Lite 2017 (PRA-LX1) works fine! The camera is quite buggy, but with OpenCamera it works fine! Thank you so much for this rom! Now i'll proceed to test it to verify if there will be problems in "day life use"

Ok today i had to reinstall the stock rom, because even if everything works fine the Cellular is not working. SMS and Calls work fine, but only Cellular doesn't work. I tried everything (ASP, re-configuring settings, etc...) and there is not the folder mentioned (in the info, for adjust the "dual-sim or sim not recognized" problem) .
It's a pity, but this ROM is the only one that works very well for my P8 Lite 2017. Thank you for everything you have done

Hellow, i have try your rom on my PRA-LX1... tHis a very nice rom but my 4G doesn't work... And i cannot root the phone :/ How a i can do? I have look the phone.prop but how a can edit this without have root? Or how to root the phone? :/ If you help me, i keep this rom because is the best rom i have tested for my phone! ^^

Prerequisites :-
Redmi 3S/Prime/3X with Unlocked Bootloader
Latest TWRP or RedWolf TWRP. (If you need TWRP use this one or use RedWolf.)
Download and Store the ROM in Internal (Links in Second Post)
Download latest OpenGapps. (I tested with Pico and its working fine)
Instructions :-
Reboot to Custom Recovery.
Wipe System, Data, Cache/Dalvik
Click Install and Select the Installer ZIP then Swipe to (Start) Install.
Flash Gapps if you want... but do it before first boot otherwise you may face FCs.

You sure about that? Coz when i installed last lineage 15 by teamhyper through redwolf recovery which is based on 3.2 twrp didn't solve the problem! I faced encryption anyways

Well i have flashed Xenon HD today through the latest TRWP didn't face encryption issue but afterwards someone reported that his data got encrypted by flashing the same Rom.
Few days ago i have tried the AICP rom got my data encrypted but when looked into the thread some of the guys didn't faced the problem and the Dev also stated thats not a Rom issue.
3rd one, When testing AEX(unofficial) 5.0, when i flashed it using TRWP-3.1.1-0. Flashing Rom+Gapps caused Google Play FCs. So i have to flash gapps after 1st boot. When consulted with william.johhn7 he told he haven't faced the issue at all. When i compared the TRWP version, it's turned out that he was using TRWP-3.2.1 while I was on 3.1.1-0. Then after updating trwp i flashed the rom+Gapps but you know there is really no Google play FCs.
I don't know about that redwolf recovery but I think form above observations trwp versions does matter when it comes to flashing a Rom.

I'm using data, volte in second slot with Jio sim. Nothing like that.

For whatever ROM... You have to format data completely for the first time.

I faced frequent network drop from first boot. Please find fix for this problem. Lineage os 9/11 by charan has no such problem, if possible look into his code.
