Frosted Thinline Case - Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe Accessories

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L4289OQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I've been waiting on my SE to arrive, and it finally did today. I've been sitting on a case and glass protector for a couple weeks now. Just wanted to link this case and share a few pictures of it installed on my phone.
VERY minimalist case. If you're the type to drop their phone a lot, look elsewhere. I'm not, so it's exactly what I was looking for. I had a very similar case for my LG G Pro back in the day.
It's a got a soft sandpaper-y feel to it, so it adds a good bit of grip to the phone without adding nearly any bulk.
http://imgur.com/a/GSUTt
I have to link the gallery on imgur since xda won't allow me to attach the images directly for some reason.

I like the case in the pictures, but that doesn't seem to be the on in the link. Did I just miss it?

No, it's the case. The ring/kickstand is a self adhesive addition. You don't need to use it.

Making a Vinyl "Sticker" for back

Opinions? The Android "guy" will be cut out so you'll see the "pretty" Nexus 4 back shining though. Be cutting one in a carbon fiber too. Hell...I have about 30 colors...may be kinda cool. Thoughts? Cost is very minimal to make them for myself so figure why not the small added protection for the back.
That is awesome.

I'd buy one I would attach it to my xtreme guard protector
Worked very well actually. The vinyl I use is high end...so I was able to easily take it off with out any residue being left on he phone. Ive changed it to 4 colors in the last two days just for heck of it.

If you start selling these, I'll definitely buy a couple. With a glass back, something like this would become substantial to a lot people.
I'd buy several colors no doubt about it, very cool.

The one linked that covers the sides is pretty awesome too.
i'm doing this for mine too. I'm using a single hole-punch for the camera cutout. how did you cut out the speaker hole?

I'm using a $4000 dollar vinyl cutting machine to make them. I have a side business doing professional banners, prints...etc etc. So I made my own template based off of a Hi-Res scan I made of the rear of the device. So my "stickers" are a perfect cut every single time.
Carbon Fiber one will go on tonight. I think this will really look nice. I will upload pics when I have them. Never thought about selling them. I could even personalize them...instead of the Android guy I could put your XDA user name, dogs name...wife's?
But in all honesty, if you really are wanting these I would have no problem making them for you guys. I'm thinking maybe $4 including USPS shipping. Carbon would be a dollar more (material is really pricey).

That's a little out of my price range for a "DIYer." It looks like a really clean cut.
I'd love to buy one if they can be highly customized. Is there any disturbance on the camera zoom with that small camera cutout?

Depends on the curves of the device. N$ is simple..its flat. Plus id need a scan of the rear of the device to I can create the template.

Anybody tried the spigen flip ultra view case yet?

Desperately trying to find some reviews on this bad boy as an alternative to the official s view case which is a bit lacking imo, but I'm totally coming up short
http://www.spigen.com/cell-phone/samsung/galaxy-s4-cases/galaxy-s4-case-ultra-flip-view.html
I love the s view window feature, but the official one is just too poorly fitted and is not worth the price at all.

Cruzerlite bumper cases

I got these case's in for review.
Everything from the box to the case it's self is absolutely top notch.
The box has evolved so much since I first purchased a cruzerlite case. It has a nice see thru Window that let's you see your case before you even touch it, and pulls out nicely to introduce you to your new case.
Enough about the packaging! The new bumper cases are frigging sweet. I have had so many cases for the s4 and I wish I would have seen these first. The offer very good protection and little to no bulk. In my opinion these bumper cases are how crapple should have made theres.
I have used this case all day today and can tell you all this its very slim and yet still adds a fair amount of protection. All of the buttons line up perfectly as expected, and there is even a good size lip on the front to protect your screen when laid face down. All in all guys and gals go purchase these if you like slim but trustworthy protection!!! You won't be disappointed !!!
Here is where to find them

Yes. Its journalistic integrity. That's why when a site gets something for review they give it away. Companies know this so they turn to end users that like getting free stuff.

Got the case now.
For me it is fantastic.. The attention to detail on the cutouts is great. They really looked at the phone lines and respected them
I can understand some might feel it makes the phone feel less premium, but for me it is the opposite. The slightly granular texture works great (feels secure) and I like the tint the black semi transparent gives my pink phone
This one I think will be my main case now
(Just need to sorry out the best screen protector option now
Also...
The FrostCover does work in the DK32 cradle without mods.
When using the 32B tray insert.
It is a tight fit (not just a 'drop it in',. you need a little bit of a wiggle).. but no mods needed
Cool
I'd buy one if not for the price and cut out for the XPERIA logo.

Dot Case

So I saw the dot case in store on the display model, which we have all probably seen, However which the security device on the back side of the display models I was unable to notice this (see pictures) and I did not notice it in any of the reviews.
I really like the concept of the minimal 8bit lock screen which the dot case and further more the option to answer and make calls without opening is a great plus.
That said it's a shame I won't be using the case now that I have it. The lid does not close flush on the back when open which means the right hand must simple hold the phone and case preventing the right thumb from being able to be used to type / navigate on the screen. And if you were to not hold the lid flush against the back your left and can not maintain a firm grip on the phone because the lid is a tpu material which renders it a bit slippery.
This disappoints me because I really like the features it add.
* note to mods our accessories link is not working this is the reason this thread is in general and not /accessories

you dont think it will soften up over time?
This has been mentioned in the Dot View review thread, Others have said it is nearly impossible to type with the cover folded back unless you are really pushing on it.
The case itself does not appear to provide much, if any protection to the back and sides. The Dot View look is cool but with the lack of protection and the flip cover not laying flat, I passed.

Same here after playing with it in store. More of a "cheap gimmick" case imo. Looks cool at night to show off to Ur friends but for any protection, day to day use, and the dot dirt it leaves on screen. Obviously not much thought went into this case outside of the "gimmicks."
Maybe if a soft see through cloth was on the inside of the lid so no dot dirt goes on device, lid actually was flexible to bend back and stay there, feel secure when closed, and had more protection then a cheap $5 knock off case, it would be well worth the $30 maybe $40 tops. Watch a cheap Chinese knock off becomes available on eBay in a few months with all these improvements and half the price, lol!

Lol, not much thought went into this case???? Ok. I think a lot of thought went into this case, and I think they did a excellent job on it! The case, is meant to use while on the go. Like driving, and at work. Hence the reason for the features it carries. It's not meant to text with it. Lol. Just saying. Everyone has their opinions though.

Not flaming, serious question.... Are you saying that you remove your case when texting or otherwise using your phone?
Imo a if your a case type of person wouldn't u want a case to leave on at all times?
I even like the display when the lid is on, in fact once we have write on the /system I fully intend on making it an optional lock screen when no security it being used.
