I printed mine and took a picture. For some reason my screenshots are saved as png and they require jpeg for the promo.

Not sure how they are compared to "Beats", but I think that they aren't even in the same class.

did you put dashes like it is on the box or without? i did it with the dashes first and it didn't take it. when i removed them it worked. you can also go to settings on the phone and go to the general tab. scroll to the bottom and there is an about phone option. hit that and then select the status option and it will show you your imei

Just signed up I'm #602 hopefully it's a quick turn around like the Note 7 promotion.

Did you go through the submission process. The check is for when you submit your Claim not to see if you are eligible.

Use the IMEI in the phone Settings > About Phone > Status.
That's also what I took a screenshot of for proof of IMEI.

I got a silly question. I pre-order my phone from Newegg two days ago. I tried to register to get the headphone this morning but I don't have IMEI on hand. My phone is going to ship from 11/11/2016. I think it's (425) 861-9174. All they ask for is your IMEI and a mailing address. So I'm betting there's a limit of how many you can get.
Do you think they'll also replace the SD/SIM cover? Mine is creaky to the touch and doesn't seem like it fits too well.

I didn't ask for one, but the rep was telling me about how they just got an email about how users were complaining about broken battery covers and I think he even said SIM covers too. Wouldn't hurt to ask, but let us know if they do if you call.

Mine is the same way. One part sticks out a bit to far and it kinda bothers me. May give them a call tomorrow.

I just emailed them and when they reply, ill update this post with more info on what they say.
I requested them to send me both covers. My battery cover is all messed up from removing it too much and my SIM/SD card is missing the tabs that keep it flush with the body of the phone.
I'm still not sure how such a poor design got past R&D, and field testing...
Just got off the phone with them. Told them that my phone is unusable because the cover is broken and the battery keeps falling out. I also told them that my sim cover is bent. FREE overnight shipping on both of them. I was surprised at how great HTC customer service is.

Awesome news! With the rumors of redesigns in the works, I think I'll just hold out until those get released. I have a case holding my phone together pretty well right now haha

I just tried calling that number and I get the message that that number is no longer in service. I called the 1-800 number and they hooked me up. But they told me it'll take between 2-3 business days. I'll just keep my old one as a backup. The customer service was very nice and professional also.

Can't believe Verizon is doing this to me!

I am so pissed. Long story short. I ordered the s6 through Verizon, got the phone and it was great until the 10th day. I started having issues. So I told them and they said they'd send me out another. I told then I absolutely do not want a refurbished phone and they guaranteed me it would be a brand new one. Wtf do i get the next day? A refurbished piece of crap that had scratches all over when 3 different reps assured me they'd be sending me a new one. I called them back pissed.
So after hours of talking on the phone I get them to send me a brand new one that would come in the white box. They told me it would arrive on may 29th(which was 10 days away) because they were all on backorder waiting for the shipment from Samsung. So I've literally been calling every few days asking them what the update is and every time a diff rep just tells me that the order is placed and everything but it's still on backorder. This has happened 3+ times now.
It's been 3 weeks now and I just called again and told them this is it I've had enough and the guy tells me for some reason the order never processed because of some terms and conditions crap so he said he has to figure it out with his supervisor. I can't believe this seriously. Are the people at Verizon the dumbest individuals in the world or am I being toyed with here?

I tried that but all of the Verizon stores in my area were totally out of stock of the black s6 and they said they'd charge me to switch colors.

Multiple issues. I experienced, Bluetooth issues, got a few scratches on the phone and occasional messed up audio when on the phone. I got them to send me a new one. Should be here Thursday. Found out he order never went through cuz the stupid supervisor didn't approve the order.

I haven't been impressed with Verizon customer service, either. The first phone I got was never activated, and when I called to get it activated, the rep just redid my order and sent me another phone lol. I had to reject the 2nd phone, and I finally spoke to someone that knew what they were talking about.
It seems as though 1 out of every 3 reps know their stuff, the rest have no clue.
I'm still waiting for my $100 port in credit, and I know it won't be on my 3rd billing cycle, so I'll have to call them again :/
Never even talked to a rep. did everything online. Ordered phone on Friday, arrived Sat, activated without doing much other than turning the phone on (SIM card was already installed). I didn't port my number until I checked out the phone and ported the number on Monday morning, took about 20 min and about 1/2 hour after that to get the SMS texting working right.
No communication with a rep at anytime.
Sat night when I realized I already had the latest build (was waiting for an OTA), I rooted the device with PingPongroot. Had to do it twice but it stuck and was very easy. never connected the phone to the computer (yet).

This is literally the only way to do it. Companies like VZ and Comcast intentionally provide sucky service so that you just give up because who wants to spend hours on the phone explaining your problem to people who are intentionally making it harder for you?

It looks like they delayed you just to be outside of the 14 day window. Anything outside that 14 day return policy can be replaced with a certified like new device. Is the home button that bad that you couldn't see living with it? Would a stiff home button eventually became loose also?

I exchanged one due to a very loose home button. It didn't register presses half the time and rattled bad. They are out there, the lemon s6s. They are far between but they do exist sadly

Yeah, pretty lame. I'm keeping the new gold one because the screen is much better. The home button doesn't rattle as much now. It's barely noticeable so I'm okay with it.

Anyone got the grey Pure XL yet?

I placed an order on the grey version last Friday but no ETA yet. The gold version is in stock though.
On Amazon I placed order for gray phone it was placed on back order. I canceled that order on Sunday. Placed new order Monday and it went straight thru. Phone will be here today Wednesday.

The Gold has gone out of stock and then back in stock while the Grey has remained out of stock the entire time. I called Blu's sales office (who lied on release day about it being Amazon's fault) and again they said that it was Amazons fault and i needed to contact them to see when the phone would be available. These freakin people, how do you run a company like this?

The screen on the Pure XL is outstanding for reading. Yes, it's better than the N6. I just need root!

No one is saying the gold is not in stock and available now. Some of us are skeptical about your claim to have purchased and received the *grey* Pure XL from Amazon without waiting. The grey has never been in stock according to Amazon's web site are there are people who have pre-ordered and have been waiting for it from the first day the page was up (Oct 19) without any word of availability from Amazon. It seems improbable to us that you simply ordered it last week and received it in a couple of days as you claim. So we'd like you to post a photo of your grey Pure XL.
Anyone kind of wondering whether or not the Grey edition actually exists? Its now over a month since the 'launch' date, the gold unit has been in and out of stock several times on Amazon with no sign of the Grey aside from the "Temporarily out of stock" label that hasnt changed once. The way that they keep blaming Amazon when its clearly NOT THEIR FAULT really makes me wonder what a company like this is capable of. If the Grey unit never shows, and it was only the Gold all along, I guess i just wouldnt be surprised one bit at this point.
Edit: Come to think of it, I dont believe that ive seen any video reviews of this phone that werent the Gold version.

Man, that's how I felt with the gold and pre order, not pre-order dilemma. My decision to wait a day to do my pre-order cost like one extra day which at that point had already been way past the whole 9/29 original date was my feeling. Phone is worth it. You'll love it. Now, I wonder if the black will ever surface. Fortunately I wanted the gold to begin with!

It sells for $175 on Amazon normally, so it's not a cheap SD card by any means. Big props to LG on this. I'm sure SanDisk made them a big deal tied with the whole first EPIC certification for the V10.
Both T-Mobile stores I went to on Friday knew about the promo. The first store had a flier handout but no phones in stock. The second store is where I bought the phone. She mentioned the promo when we first started talking and i told her I knew about it.
A few minutes after I left the phone rang and it was the T-Mobile rep calling to apologize because she had forgotten to give me the promo info. (I'm guessing the flier I saw in the first store.)
Funny how inconsistent places can be. It's all about management!

I submitted my entry last Friday with a number of 8590. This morning I check my status and it was still at "submitted". I sent them an email and got a reply in about 30 minutes saying I am approved.
My story was I was checking to make sure the pictures i sent were clear enough for them to see. :angel:
So last night, I was getting low on battery so I figured I would take advantage of the phone's quick charge feature and plug it in. Of course, literally right before I plug it in, the power went out for the whole block. No biggie, I thought. I would take advantage of the phone's removable battery feature and put a new battery in. Except that the said battery isn't here yet because my status with the promo is still 'in processing." So no phone the whole night.... Why do I get the feeling that once I get the battery, I won't have any more power outages...

I used this exact same excuse and the rep auto approved it on the spot.
I am also a Jump on demand customer. :good:
In-Processing means it's been approved and waiting to ship. FYI

It's sad my T-mobile representative didn't know about the promo either, and the promo adds so much value to the phone deal. The carriers should do a better job of training their reps so they can do a better job of helping their customers!
Don't know of anyone is aware, but if you buy at BestBuy they are apparently throwing in a 24" LED TV...seems to be a separate BB promo that doesn't affect the LG promo.

Official text or Email

Has anyone got the official text or Email from Sprint or Samsung yet?
I have yet to receive anything about returning our phones. The first recall i got it from both rite away.
I'm not returning till i absolutely have to.

Did you read the post I made? Called sprint corporate and listed what I was told/hinted at.

Yes but he talking about an official letter to the customer. Also something other than what was listed on the Sprint website.

Simply mentioned it because it appears he was looking for a timeline. I provided a rough one.
If it's going to be 60 days out, I wouldn't expect anything this fast. From talking to them, it sounds like they are still trying to get the details straight across the board. It sounds like they are going to have a deadline to return them to samsung, long as they meet that deadline, they don't care when they get them back.

I received a text message from Sprint yesterday to return my not or face a non return fee, I went into a sprint store today and exchanged for a S7 edge

My wife likes the Coral Blue.
Sounds like Sprint won't let us hold it long enough for the Galaxy S8 devices, but I hear rumors of there being a Coral Blue S7 Edge. Hopefully they'll let us keep it until then.
She'll miss the S-Pen dearly, of course.

Just got one from Samsung as well! ????
I got the alert from Samsung, nothing they said says you HAVE to return it though, just that you can't take it on flights. Still haven't seen anything about a firm date, assuming you don't fly, like me, I am sticking to the 60 days corp told me for now until I hear otherwise, so I can decide what I want to do.
It still says voluntary recall on the Samsung website.
Just received a second message, now from Samsung. And it begins....
Interesting. I haven't received a single message.
I got a notification from Samsung. I'm sure gonna miss the GIF maker.

It still is but sprint and Samsung are going to be relentless with this. I'm flying tomorrow and have to leave my phone behind, using my gf's iPhone... can't believe this sh*t!
It sucks. I love this phone and it is gonna hurt giving it back lol

I got one from Sprint and Samsung last night. Both say to trade in before I fly, because of airline ban. Otherwise, it's still voluntary.

Yeah I got one both from Samsung and Sprint. Basically just talking about the ban of the Note 7 on flights. I still ain't turning mine in
