It's working now, had a 404 before. But I can't for the life of me download this off Baidu. Horrible that to download you have to use an app that's only in chinese.

Don't think I'm gonna flash it, I own a Z Force droid... Don't really want to mess up my phone.
I'm curious though considering this has a lot of references of having private keys and test-keys, so might help us unlock the phone? I don't know.

Have dual sim version? If not don't flash all. Try only system-boot, modem partition can erase your IMEI.

I'm curious if flashing the bootloader can help us out in unlocking the phone... Only issue is that if the bootloader fails, you effectively kill your phone.

I don't believe this is what the person meant. They probably wanted the file uploaded elsewhere in order to download it, because source is from Baidu.
The XT1650-05 is close enough to the XT1650-02, so there's a chance this could be used positively with the Z-Force Droid with a little tinkering. I think the OP needs to be modified with BIG RED FLAGS to mention that you brick your phone at your own risk though.
I've flashed this ROM on my 1650-03 dual sim and works flawlessly, just had to erase the gpt flash lines and modem ones and is ready (but No Google apps).

So does this mean the bootloader was flashed as well? And is it truly a Nougat ROM?

I've installed the new german jelly bean firmware. All went ok, but i have only 550MB of ram available. Went from official gingerbread to JB. Was I supposed to tick repartition in odin to get the maximum ram available (625MB)??

Have you put a single file in PDA ? Or 3 different files in Phone, PAD and CSC ?
What about the bootloader ? Have you ticked the box ?

It should 624MB of RAM if u use Kies or OTA, Coz in the latest Kies Software there's included new feature called " Firmware Managament Update"...

Ok thanks for the answer. because with previous JB versions (for th I8160), doing so could lead to hardbrick the device when coming from official JB.

It has to be enabled from within framework. Decompile framework-res and change "easy_mode_enabled" boolean value to "true"

1- while connected to pc the MTP menu has changed UI.
2- battery improved.
3- notifications on lock screen has more empty spaces towards the edges.

? Still on December patch. Rooted and xposed installed. Don't want to go through all this hassle again until I am really satisfied that new update is working and released for India.

In marshmallow it may not be possible to root the system without the bootloader being unlocked..
That is why the other LG phones with marshmallow bt no bootloader unlock are still waiting for just a simple root..
The bootloader of marshmallow itself verifies for system modification and override root.
-however there may be some way bt now it will be much more difficult to root itself.

You can open a temporary root, modify and thats all...
You dont need root 24/7

in my G3 D855 on MM 6.0 i put root on it even with bootloader locked so i dont know why G Flex2 will be different...
nothing about BL locked, it can be rooted anyway.

Sorry guy, you are not the first one who has seen this option it's there since a few updates and doesn't do anything...
Android 6 requires a modified kernel in order to have root. There may be ways around it, but it is a compliaction for sure.
I´m not sure what everybody is using root for, but it´s not a problem for me. You can always download the system image, do any changes you like on your computer (like changing DPI, which is a must for me) and flash it to the phone afterwards.

I had sprint LG G2, for G2 new lg open source release would mean update comes to phone in 2-3 days . Open source code release generally means build is final and ready to hit phones or no further changes to open source code.
Given that H955 model is released in many countries, may be LG will start rolling out 6.0 in some country this week.
I hope lg relase any solution for 9008.... my flex 2 is dead

How to install:
• Download the APK file from the "Downloads" tab.
• Remove any previous version of the Google Phone app.
• Install downloaded APK file.
• Give all permissions to the app in Android Settings, including Modify System Settings.
• Allow draw over other apps permission in Android Setting to enable the floating bubble.
• Set as default calling app in Android Settings.
Please read:
• It requires Android 7.0+
• Floating Bubble Button works
• Nearby Places works on some devices (Tested and worked on OnePlus 6 OxygenOS 9)
• Spam Caller ID does not work properly
• The patched version might not work on some devices based on their firmware.
Known issues:
• Reporting a number as spam closes the app. You can disable "Caller ID and spam" in the app setting to fix this issue.

No this is the regular version.
s8 plus update cri5, works fine, nearby sites work fine, and blocking numbers closes the application but blocks the numbers when you re-open the app appears blocked the number, is the only error that comes out but it works, thank you very much, it works very well

My name is Josip and I am from Croatia,central Europe
A month ago I bought Huawei Mate 30 and I like that phone very much,but I have some issues.
The phone was not for european market,it was for Chinese market,so now I have problems with notification
which not come to me on right time.I asking for help.Can I maybe download and flash my phone with european firmware.
Is it possible to do that.Any advice will be very helpful

You got delayed noti?
You can solve it easily by set enable 3 items in App Launch + not allow in Special access and lock app in Task Manager
Ps: you can not flash european fw without unlock bootloader

1. App Launch:
Setting - Apps - App Launch: disable auto manage, enable 3 sub items to let it run background and can push notis
2. Special Access
Setting - Apps - Permissions, 3 dot menu and choose Special access - Battery optimization: set app you want it run background always to Not Allowed
3. Open Task Manager and swipe down the app you want it keep in memory when you clear all running/backgound apps
Note: after done those setting, you should keep calm, keep using your phone about 1-2 days and system AI will learn how you use apps and all will be solved

I think that the problem is with software which is not for europe,beacuse I do not have here some features which You send me here in your descreption

I used and using many Huawei Chinese Edition phones in Vietnam and have no problem with notifications . I manage to remove all Chinese stuff by computer . Now I'm using Mate 30 Chinese variant AL00 same variant as Mate 20 X 8/256 before
