Hello my fellow case freaks, If your like me you love cases, and probably have a bunch. Well I have a lot and Im still always looking for new ones. The other day I got a promo email from Spigen about a new case they built for the iPhone 5. Its called the Slim Armor S. Its basically a revamped version of the regular Slim Armor case. The inner TPU lining is softer and delivers better button response and improves impact protection and shock absorption with its strategically designed spider-webbed interior. It also has a redesigned outer polycarbonate midsection with an improved matte finish coating that offers better grip and feel. So anyway I contacted Spigen to ask if they had any plans on releasing the improved Slim Armor S for the Galaxy S4 and I got this response.

As of now, we don’t have any definite plans to make the Slim Armor S for the Galaxy S4 yet. However, if there is increased interest from our customers, we may change our production plans in the future. Please check our website, facebook, and twitter pages for any updates time to time.
So this is my reason for the post. I am hoping anyone else that would be interested in a new Slim Armor S for the S4 would contact them and ask also. If they receive enough interest maybe they will. I tried to find an easier way to contact them but unfortunately I couldnt. You have to register here , then go here to create a help ticket. Leave it at "To Do", then write in a topic. Then under that choose "product inquiry" from the "Department" drop down. Leave the "Assign an Order" blank. Then you just write a quick message asking about the possibility of a new Slim Armor S for the Galaxy S4. Heres what I wrote originally as an example.
"Hello. I just received an email from Spigen showing the new Slim Armor S for the iPhone 5. It is a very nice case. I was wondering if you had plans to create and release a Slim Armor S for the Galaxy S4. I have the S4 and love my other Spigen cases for it, and would love to see the Armor S for it as well. I buy and review a lot of cases, and think an Armor S for the S4 would be a great addition to an already awesome line up of cases. Anyways just a suggestion. Thanks"
Hopefully that will work. But it definitely wont if they dont get any interest. Thanks for your time.

Done. I like the new Gunmetal and Silver colors so hopefully this will be made available for SG4 as well.
If they release a matte white one, that'd be very tempting even though I already have a white SA. The matte finish on the SA I got for my friend's iPhone 5 is pretty fantastic.

No kidding about matte finishes. Will never understand the allure of shiny plastic. Make matte versions of a case and ill buy it. As for the softer TPU id be down. Im a bit of a case collector and I definitely enjoy the neo hybrid i have

I went on Otterbox's Facebook page and asked that questions. They wrote back with, "We're always exploring our options! We'll be sure to pass your feedback on and let you know if anything else comes up in the plans. "

Is it the lighting or does this case look bluish? How does the color compare in real life with the Spigen, ie which one is closer to being a proper black?

I know I can "add" a kickstand, but it's convenient to have it included especially if it's durable.

The case is blue but also comes in black also, I also reviewed the spigen rugged armor which is a better case imho

Thanks for reviewing this, it's a case I am considering. Mobile Fun UK has this priced at £20.
It looks great but I am very disappointed it doesn't recognise 3rd party apps.
Have you reviewed or seen the Nillkin Smart Touch View case at all?

How well does the UAG play with large audio jacks? I've got an audio technica headphone and the jack it came with is pretty large

OnePlus 6 screen protector review
I have just recently bought the OnePlus 6 and am in search of a good screen protector. I have always used screen protector in my previous android devices (Nexus 4 and Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet).
I will be more than happy to give a thorough review on Amazon.de & XDA for the screen protector and will provide images with screen protector on and off. I will base my reviews on the touch sensitivity of the screen, clarity of the screen protector, ease of installation etc.

Thanks again for the link. Got my cases yesterday. Super rugged. Seeing as I've already busted one Whitestone screen protector for this phone (installed on Friday, chipped the protector on Sunday) I'll say they came just in time.
really suprised not to see more responses. Requested and got the link, just not had time to do it. Will this weekend. Why not get a free case to then be able to post an honest review!

Excellent Rugged Case
I took advantage of this opportunity, and have found the case to be excellent. My review follows:
This inexpensive rugged case does everything right. It is constructed with three layers of materials. The outer layer is the hard plastic back and kickstand. The next layer, made of TPU is permanently bonded without gaps to the hard backing and has a shock absorbing honeycomb pattern as can be seen in the attached picture, extra corner protection. And textured left and right outer sides to make the phone grippy. This includes a TPU door for the USB-C port and cutouts for the SPen, speaker, and mic as well as
and TPU buttons. Finally, there is a separate hard frame that goes around the Note20 and is then inserted into the case. The camera is extremely well protected from impact and the lip of the case protects the screen well from damage related to drops.
Buttons are very responsive, SPen is easier to access than with my lightweight case, and wireless charging works well.
While this won't be my daily case, if I'm doing activities with enhanced risk of drop (e.g., hiking, biking, jogging, working on the car, doing videography while standing on mixed surfaces), this is my go to case.
Given the quality and low cost, using this case as a primary or secondary case should be a no-brainer for anyone.

Yes. I got both of mine. I had to buy a Amazon prepaid card on a 3rd party site since Amazon doesn't directly take paypal
Well I got both of mine too. I love the case, its as solid as a otterbox. I'll give the 20 ultra case to my son. What a great company!
