hello fellow earthlings here is the complete tutorial of ROOTING Samsung galaxy star pro GT-S7262 "TRUST ME ITS FIRST ON NET" other tutorials will give u a white screen of death ..
1) frist install samsung drivers from samsung website or if u have win8skip this step
2)enable usb debugging in ur phones deloper options its in settings at bottom
3)turn off ur mobile then press vol down+ power+ home
it will show a caution press vol up now ur in download mode
4)run odin as administrator select the recovery.tar.md5 file in AP and BOOT file in BL tick the both
5) connect ur phone via usb while in download mode see if odin shows added click start!
it will flash and then go recovery mode by home+vol up +power
or download adb to get in recovery mode if u want adb inbox me !

put it in sdcard then go into recovery mode and select install from zip choose from sdcard and install and volla ! ur phone is rooted !!!

try this
1. first download any stock rom for other country for your phone and flesh it.
2. after flash let if reboot and setup it
3. then again go to download mod (odin mode) by power+volume down+home keys.
4. set up odin on pc by deselecting auto reboot and then flesh your new recovery.
5. now as you see PASS dialog on odin disconnect your device power off your device by long press power button or removing battery.
6. now dont start your diver first go to recovery mod by pressing power+volume up+home keys.
WOW magic you get your new recovery.

do it my way

11-click start wait for odin said pass and your device will automatically reboot
12-wait it will take approx5/10 minutes if its stuck in bootloop than remove battery and re-insert it
13-boot phone into stock recovery wipe data and factory reset and reboot it

HELP! Samsung duos 2 gt-s7582 No recovery mode and stucks in samsung logo
i tried lashing thru odin with its stock firmware. it passed but still goes to the same samsung logo.
sometimes it is stucked in the charging battery icon. but it doesnt charge.
please help!

all you need to do download stock rom of your region from here-http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-S7582/
than extract it you got md5 file
than download odin3.07 from here-http://odindownload.com
1-backup all your data

Hi! Thanks for the reply. I wasnt able to root it because after flashing it it just rebooted to the samsung logo.. still no recovery mode. Any thoughts what i did wrong?

You have to go to recovery mode before wiping dalvik cache right? unfortunately i cant access the recovery mode
have able to go download mode

I flashed it with the file from sammobile via odin after a while it passed then rebooted to the samsung logo. It wont go through, still stuck. When i remove the battery and placed it again. I pressed the volume up + home button + power button but it doesnt go to the recovery mode it only goes to the samsung logo and stucks there.
Although i can acces the download/odin mode, I cant wipe dalvic coz i cant access the recovery mode.
Help please! Im stuck at the samsung logo with no recovery mode after flashing to stock rom!

i think this is an hardware problem you should take your device to service center.....

Can U provide me a link to it. I tried everything but i cant flash it due to attached battery and can't even go to the download mode

And download all the things there,
Install drivers in your PC,
And start the flashing software as said by the post,
But just to start the flashing process start by pressing
Volume up+volume down simultaneously
And connect it to your PC
The process will start
I already did it 4or 5 times like this????????????????????
These days i been trying to flash the twrp reccovery and all is fine, but when i try to enter to the download mode (odin mode) the screen get stuck in the custom os warning and pressing the volume up key it doesnt do nothing...i hope u can help me with this
