[ROM][Official][6.0.x]CyanogenMod13 Releases/Nightlies for SGH-i337 jflteatt jfltecan - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Original Android Developme

Important Information & Disclaimers
Purpose of thread:
This thread is opened in order to get feedback from flashing and testing the official CM13 releases (snapshots) & nightlies on the AT&T Galaxy S4 SGH-i337 (jflteatt) and the Candian Galaxy S4 SGH-i337m (jfltecan).
CyanogenMod Info:
CyanogenMod 13 (or CM13 for short) is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 6.0.x (Marshmellow), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
The AT&T Galaxy S4 SGH-i337 (jflteatt) and the Candian Galaxy S4 SGH-i337m (jfltecan) had separate CM builds until CM11-Snapshot-M3, after which all Galaxy S4 variants were merged into a unified build (jflte). Due to the pain it was to maintain all those devices in one build, CM de-unified the Galaxy S4 line as of CM12.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. If you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Disclaimers/Warranty:
Like any other custom ROM installation, needless to say that this will void your warranty and possibly ruin or brick your device. You've been warned...
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.

Credits/Thanks:
invisiblek has done most of the work, with contributions from FarmGeek4Life. I am just allowing it to benefit those with AT&T & Canadian S4s by providing support where I can, and putting time into testing and debugging when I need to.
Note: Most of this I shamelessly copied from invisiblek's CM12 post on the Verizon Galaxy S4 forums, he's the expert.
Download Links & Installation
CyanogenMod:
Releases/Snapsots: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=jflteatt&type=snapshot
Nightlies: http://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=jflteatt&type=nightly
Google Apps:
Make sure to get the latest Google Apps from OpenGApps.
Installation limitations & instructions:
The CM13 builds linked above were built for the AT&T variant SGH-i337 (jflteatt). The Canadian variant SGH-i337m (jfltecan) doesn't have any official CM builds since the de-unification in CM12 (see 'CyanogenMod Info' above), but the AT&T variant SGH-i337 (jflteatt) builds should work on the Canadian variant SGH-i337m (jfltecan) since they're basically the exact same hardware (you'll need to work around the Status 7 error when you try to flash a jflteatt build on your jfltecan device by flashing a matching CWM or TWRP recovery for the jflteatt build that you want to flash, as explained on the CM forums).
You might not be able to use this ROM if you're not on certain bootloaders. I would recommend you be on either the UCUAMDB or UCUAMDL bootloader (run this in a terminal to find out: getprop ro.bootloader ).
The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

Thanks! I'm currently running cm13 as jfltexx (Intl) on my Canadian i337m. Is there any advantage to switching to the jflteatt version?

when I try to flash the att version on TWRP it says it's not a jfltecan version and therefore cannot continue.

I have a rooted i337m on CM 12 with bootloader I337MVLUFNE1
My understanding is that to use CM 13 I will need to do the following:
1. Install the UCUAMDB or UCUAMDL bootloader
2. Flash the version of recovery that corresponds to the cm13 version I wish to use
3. Backup, wipe, flash CM13 ROM and GApps
I have no idea how to do steps 1 and 2. I've never messed with the bootloader and can't seem to get twrp manager to flash a .img file.
Help please!

After making that post, I did eventually get CM13 on my i337m.
As far as I can tell, all you need is an unlocked bootloader that will allow you to flash roms. If your phone is rooted and you can flash roms, then whatever bootloader you have is good enough.
You do need to have a version of recovery that corresponds to the CM13 rom that you want to flash. If you have an i337m, chances are you have a jfltecan recovery - there is no jfltecan CM13, so you need to change recoveries. If you want to flash the jfltexx CM13, you need jfltexx recovery. If you want jflteatt CM13, you need the jflteatt recovery.
You should be able to change your recovery by changing your phone model in TWRP Manager and using it to reinstall recovery - for some reason this kept failing for me so I stopped trying TWRP Manager and installed an app call Rashr. I set my phone model in Rashr to jfltexx, which allowed me to install the jfltexx recovery. After doing this, I was able to flash the jfltexx CM13 from recovery.

Which One should I flash Nightlies or Snapsot?? plz help asap

hey i cant seem to install cm13. I re-flashed twrp att version and it still says the error is there? how should i fix this?

How does this work with the at&t variant of the galaxy s4? Isn't the bootloader locked so you shouldn't be able to have TWRP?

Hello, I bought an AT&T s4 i337 and I want to install this ROM someone explains step by step that I must install first, I am something new. Has its original firmware (4.4.2 KK)

You need to be on the MDL or MDB bootloader for it to work. Once you've upgraded past 4.2.2 jelly bean, you're stuck using safe strap recovery.

Yep the bootloader is locked and cannot use TWRP. However, if you're on the MDL or MDB bootloader then you can use Loki to bypass the lock and thus can then use TWRP.

You can't. Once you've updated past jelly bean 4.2.2 then you're stuck using safe strap and can only boot touch wiz based ROMs.

The links for download are no longer working.

This is a big work in progress, which currently has some bugs,
but begins to look okay.
You can already multitask a little bit, by using the
app switcher and long-pressing an icon, then select "Add to
Split View".
Last window touched gets the key focus.

@Android-Andi I can't test 4.4 build today, as I told you before
No propblem @ketut.kumajaya, take your time - i don´t have time to rebuild until end of this year
Omni 4.4.2 for SM-T311 uploaded too
Just tried to install it on my T315, from TouchWiz Recovery. Wiped all, then tried install.
It says, failed. Checking some builprops it first seems to throw the 315 number, then a little later it show the 311 number and fails.
I wish I knew more about linux But the zip wont install.
omni-4.3.1-20131223-lt01lte-HOMEMADE.zip
You need a Custom-Recovery - Stock-Recovery won´t work.
Or do you mean TeamWin Recovery (Project) (TWRP)?
Therefor you need at least TWRP 2.6.3.0 with KitKat-Support.
For now:
You need at least CWM 6.0.4.4 or a Recovery based on CWM 6.0.4.4 or 6.0.4.5 to flash Kitkat Roms.
Please use PhilZ Touch Blackhawk Repack from @ketut.kumajaya, it is based on CWM 6.0.4.5.
You will find a it as flashable zip here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=47342530&postcount=2
If you are on Stock-Recovery:
Maybe ketut can upload the recovery as Odin flashable tar.md5, else you need convert it using this tool on windows (you can convert on linux too) or first flash CWM from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2385539
How to flash it using Odin?
Flash the recovery.tar.md5 as PDA in Odin,
make sure Re.-Partition UNCHECKED,
More Information? Please ask in the Recovery Thread
Ok thnx, I was/am on TouchWIN 2.6.0.0
I;ll see if I can upgrade that to 2.6.3. Then try again.
Rather not mess with my TWRP as it is my friend till, and beyond the end.
I dare mess up a lot, except the recovery and my backups..
Please use PhilZ Touch recovery especially for your device, the only unofficial recovery strictly follow device assert rule.
@Android-Andi I just started working on Omni branch android-4.4, for better Omni experience :good:
Thanks @ketut.kumajaya, i have seen your changes.
Do you re-setup for the 2 other too?
Got error when trying to install on t310
Sent from my Incredible 4G LTE
Please download and flash philz_touch_6.00.8-t310-blackhawk-next.zip in your current recovery.
Reboot Recovery.
Try again to flash the Rom.

[FLO] [UNOFFICIAL] [DEV] Android 5.1 AOSP for Nexus 7 (2013)

I tried to download Android 5.1 factory image from Google and found out there was none.
So I built one, for testing.
This is a user build of Android 5.1 AOSP with 5.0.1 blobs, so do not expect this to be rock stable.
Gapps for Android 5.1 also missing, you may have trouble getting Play Store to work.
Flash at your own RISK!
1. Download the ROM (XDA DevDB) and extract.
2. Reboot to bootloader
2.1. Unlock bootloader
3. 'fastboot -w'
[THIS WILL WIPE ALL DATA ON THE DEVICE]
4. 'fastboot flash boot boot.img'
5. 'fastboot flash system system.img'
6. Reboot

The 5.1 binaries for this device arn't out yet are they?
Does anyone have an idea if the 5.0.2 Nexus 7 (flo) binaries will compile and work with the Android AOSP 5.1 source ?
Thanks!

They work just fine. I've been running 5.1 on my flo for a couple days.
I'm surprising there's a lack of posts on this since everyone seems to want 5.1. I guess people are either waiting for the stock OTA or CM. I'm fine with keeping my tablet stock and this will do nicely.

Since the post is pure stock I don't know shy
I have both Roms running both running great!

Hello guys, I was following the T805 Galaxy Tab S 10.5 LTE LineageOS 14.1 guide and the guide has links for: Kernel Zip and Device Tree Zip, but they are not included in the "instructions/guide/how-to" section. Are these supposed to be installed as well? If not, why are they there for download, when the instructions clearly state to download all of the Zips.
Installs done so far post-root/unlocking bootloader in TWRP:
-LineageOS 14.1
-Gapps addon
-LineageOS addonSU
Should I consider the custom ROM flashing complete, or am I lacking some steps yet?
Well, you are pretty much done. Other than those zips can be flashed post-setup.

Could you tell me the importance of the Kernel and Device Tree zip files? Are there benefits of flashing these? Also the Kernel has a version 15.0 and 14.1 variant, is the 15.0 variant viable with the 14.1 OS? Does the order of the flash matter?
Well you need to flash the kernel after the rom, and the 15.1 version should not be compatible since it’s meant for a different version LineageOS.

The Kernel pre-installed with the ROM seems to be from 2018, whereas the 14.1 LineageOS kernel for Exynos was from 2017, anyone got input on this?
