[Q] SIM Unlock SGH-T959V HELP!

Hi,
Can anyone please provide a detailed guide on how i can SIM unlock (So that i can use it on a different carrier than T-Mobile) an Galaxy S 4G (SGH-T959V). I heard there is a way to do it though without paying any money and waiting. I think it was like bootloader or finding an unlock code though a thing called blue box

Depends on when you got the phone, how you purchased it, and a whole lot of other random weird details.
But no, it's not just "unlocking is illegal now" because that would make things easy and mean lawyers can't make more money.

I have some doubts about the Xperia C and it's the bootloader, actually I think it's unlocked out of the box but there is no fastboot like most other MTK devices out there. I'm thinking of that it might be flashable from SP Flashtool but I'm not sure, anyone who can comfirm this? I managed to flash a corrupted recovery in Mobileuncles, but that made my phone "softbricked", so be careful!

I'm not talking about that, I'm talking about that the Mediatek Vcom mode is avaible, it might say bootloader is locked due to the fact that our SoC doesn't have fastboot mode.

i have try flash using flashtool but doesnt work. Hey,what is "softbricked" look like? i too also bricked my phone using mobileuncle to flash recovery but when boot into recovery,it only off forever. nothings going on when press the power button or even you plug into charging plug or press the reset button. and also when connect to pc,nothing going on. also i hard reset too but no respon. are this softbricked or hard bricked? but now my phone is back to normal. just repair it using sony pc companion.

[Q] Does Sprint LG G Flex 2 full retail price paid come unlocked

Sprint unlocks devices launched after Feb 2015 under some circumstances. Did anyone try g flex 2 with full price paid on T-mo or at&t?

I was waiting for T-Mobile but when I spoke to them they didn't even know if they were going to carry the LG G Flex 2. So I ended up with sprint.

Just went ahead and got a Sprint model for $280 so I said whatevers.....But as far as I see it, when I put in my Cricket sim card, I got a invalid sim card message. So if anyone is seeing this, NO...it does not come unlocked out of the box. I am going to go ahead and try to do the MSL and all that stuff.

I got mine from sprint and paid in full. I then checked to see if I could get sim unlock and they told me that I had to wait 15 days since I was new to sprint. After the fifteen days I got on chat with sprint and they unlocked it for me. Hope this helps you.

What other carries did you try it with now that its unlocked?

I thought that it would work on T-mobile but doesn't get any bars shows its there just no bars. It is supposed to work by what I have read but maybe not.

I don't know how to find those files could you please tell me where I can find them and yes I have unlocked the phone. When I put in my T-Mobile sim I don't get any error just no bars.

My phone is rooted and I have root explorer could you point me to the exact location of the files I only tinker with phones not a developer.

go to main root /
then you´ll see a folder there called CARRIER
if you could pull all the folder and upload it that would be awesome.

There's four folders and I'm sure they have my info in them which I don't know if it is a good idea to send to you, and I don't really know how to send them. So please let me know what you are going to do with them first and then I will consider it. I'm not trying to be mean about it just want to be safe doing so.

you can copy it to your sd card. and open with RE EXPLORER , check it yourself you decided to send or not to sorry for my english

where is the official MM TOT ? - venting!

As the titlesays, where the heck is the MM tot for the lg v10 att h90020j , I already stopped buying sprint products because they lock their sim card so I switch to att for sim unlock now I have to switch to t mobile for sim unlock and bootloader unlock ,wtf man, att needs to release the mm tot for us people who service our own property.
Not sure if I can use the w.t.f. on here if not im sorry will edit if asked.

Trying to do some things, been looking into ways to do it, been talking to some people on the LG Viet forums.

Yeah thanks! There is one guy trolling us in one of the threads, saying he has 6.0 rooted... and won't share with us... just keeps giving bull**** single answers. Or he is trolling us super hard and he has played all of us

I really want that too, I`m the few ppl who dosent have a ATT sim card to do the upgrade .

LGMONO participate in that project.
So I downloaded the 6.0 OTA and looking into the whole situation, im gonna see if i can compile a tot by what files I can get in bulk, and grab the rest one at a time.
Side note: im not a developer but am gonna give it a shot anyways to try to help.
