The little data transfer adapter allows you to plug in USB charging cables. I tried it on my Note 5 and it began to charge. Ill need to charge up the N7 to do any speed tests though.

It's USB C on the male end.
the old otg adapter did the same thing.
USB-C has been able to that for some time.

And Both the cables the OTG works but the power not,someone have a cable like this,and know how to fix it?
(I got an Galaxy Nexus with CM10.1 on it(Android 4.2) ).

Nope, been tried many times.
The default cable does not have "USB HOST" functionality.
You need one of these adapters:

I've been trying get rid of the power strips around the house and eliminate cable clusters. I bought this one because of the 10 Watts USB feature. It works great. It charges the S4 and Note 3 at 1.2A - 1.8A. :good: The picture shows iDevices but it does work really well with Android.

Can someone explain why the Samsung Galaxy Smart Dock Multimedia Hub doesn't work with the Galaxy Tab S T800? The Tab S fits the Hub but doesn't charge it.

Got this dock and a T700, it'll charge mine but none of the usb ports or hdmi output are working with it
EDIT: won't charge it now! My S4 is still working fine, all functions so nowt wrong with the dock itself.

What is the smallest QC3.0 (or even better 4.0) charger we can buy?
Most chargers are too big. And if you disassemble them you can see they are almost empty inside, they could make something more compact. (Though I understand there could be some thermal limitations).
Most chargers are like this one or larger (or with several USB ports).
