[Q] Android software that would work as a music store and apps. I.E. Itunes, Zune...

I just wanted to know if there was any talk ever about software that would help me manage my phone and maybe that i could get music from?
Use Android Music to manage your music files and Amazon Music to buy the music.
It just seems weird that Google wouldnt do that especially with this device I saw called the Samsung Galaxy 5. When I found that, it prompted my original question because it is marketed as a music player.
I read somewhere they are working on adding a music store to the Google Music app

Check out media monkey. It allow for syncing to android devices. And only runs one background process (when running).. unlike iTunes which runs four at all times.

[Q] Noob Question about Google Music Cloud

I live in Canada and managed to get the Google Music Service via US Proxy. I've uploaded a couple of songs to test it out but I don't see the song on my Transformer .
Do I need to update to the latest Google Music App(an apk exists on the web)? Also, does this app overwrite the Music App already on my transformer? Or should I just wait for ICS (2 weeks...) and it will have the updated version.
Thanks.
I got G Music working by signing up via a proxy service. TO sign up it wants you in the USA, but once signed up it doesn;t care where you are located....It does have some drawbacks tho....for instance I couldn't find a way to move the storage location (ie to the MicroSD), also it renames your music from the original file name to 101.mp3, 102.mp3 etc.....much like Itunes does....I hate this feature it means that I can't simply browse the Music folder and send/copy a file off to share if i want

I had the same issue, but after a few resets the app asked me to login to my Google account and my uploaded songs started showing. I didn't really need to do anything, didn't update the app. I,m on Brazil btw.

[Q] Downloading Uploaded Music to Google Play Music, To Device?

Hello! I've had this question for a while now, and have searched and searched everywhere for an answer, but can't find an answer, so I'm making this post.
I have recently, a few weeks ago, uploaded just over 1,000 songs to my Google Play Music, with the Music Manager client. I uploaded around 700 songs from my PC to Google Play Music. I got the Play Music app for my Nexus 7, and Galaxy S2, and I absolutely love it. What I can't seem to find out, is how to download the songs to my devices, so when I'm on the road, and I want to use my Wifi-Only tablet to play music, I can easily do that. I basically, want to get the songs I have uploaded to google play, downloaded to my device for offline use.
None of my songs uploaded, are purchased from the Play Store. I have purchased them all elsewhere, and I actually make a bit of the music myself. 80% of my music is from Legally downloaded Mixtapes from Datpiff.com, I do not illegally download music.
My simple question is, how can I download Music from Play Music on my device, to play for offline use? If The Play Music app, does not offer this function for songs not downloaded from the Play store, is there an app, or a program that can let me do this?
I am aware of apps that sync Music Wirelessly over Wifi to your device, but my computer does not have Wifi functionality. I have my music on my Desktop PC. Also, Doubletwist currently does not work for the Nexus 7 Tablet, and also, I would like a way to get music to my device, without having to plug it into my computer.
If you have a solution to my question, please post it! And even if you don't, but can suggest me an alternative solution, please, let me know!
Actually you can download it with Google Play Music but it doesn't stay on the phone (or it's just me, my downloaded music disappear after a reboot for example)

[Q] Google music in Canada with moded Google play

Hi, I'm new here and new to android in general. I really want to be able to use the Google music service on my new nexus 5 but its not available in Canada. I saw a post somewhere about a modes Google play.apk that would remove any country restrictions allowing me to access and download the music app. Is this possible? It was for a different type of phone and when I tried to install it just failed.

[Completed] [Q] Google Play Music cached music files

I have subscribed to Google Play Music Subscription, and set the application to store cached files on SD card.
I have access to all that files, but I cannot play any of them. I mean I cannot open it on a computer. What type of security is used there?
Can someone please help me? I want to copy it on my computer and be able to play it.

Yes, heard about it.
Here is a nice thread about a way to export Google Play music files: [APP][ROOT][2.2+] Play Music Exporter - Get Back Your Music.
If you have any questions, please ask in this thread, or in the Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting forum.
